Hotels near Midosuji Street, Osaka

I frequently visit Osaka, and since my usual hotel was under renovation, I found Sotetsu Grand Fresa Osaka-Namba. It turned out to be surprisingly great value for money. Although the room wasn't huge, the overall environment was well-appointed, the location was convenient, and the service was just right, ensuring a smooth trip. I'll definitely choose Sotetsu Grand Fresa again next time.

Although Hotel Nikko is an older establishment, it's incredibly well-maintained. **Facilities:** Excellent! The shower, toilet, refrigerator, and kettle are all high-quality and fully equipped. **Cleanliness:** I felt completely at ease and comfortable using everything. **Location:** Situated right in the heart of Shinsaibashi, with direct access to Shinsaibashi Station from the basement, making it super convenient for exploring the area. Plus, getting to the airport is a breeze: just a leisurely stroll through the Shinsaibashi shopping street to Namba Station, then take the Nankai Express directly to Kansai Airport. Couldn't be easier! **Service:** Top-notch Japanese service. The hotel provides a comprehensive range of amenities, so you barely need to bring your own, and the brands are quite good. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options, both of which are delicious.

This hotel offers great value for money. It's split into two buildings, the main one and an annex, and the front desk staff are really friendly. On my first day, I was exhausted from taking the Shinkansen to Osaka, so I stayed in my room until 12:30 PM the next day. Even though I had a 'do not disturb' sign on my door, a staff member called to ask, 'Do you need a refill of tissues and towels?' I told her no, and she even double-checked, 'Nothing?' I confirmed, 'Yes, nothing needed.' You might wonder why I'm mentioning this small detail, but last November, I stayed at a local hotel for 9 nights (I specifically requested not to have my room cleaned daily). On the days my room wasn't cleaned, when I went to the front desk to ask for tissues, I was told off twice and told not to ask for tissues every day, which really annoyed me. So, the fact that Hatton proactively asked if I needed anything replenished really highlights that for this price, the service is excellent. P.S. My room type had a window that could be fully opened, but you need staff to open and close it with a special tool. They said it's for safety, which I understand. The moment the window opened, I felt really good. Also, if you walk from Daimaru Department Store, it's a bit closer. Go in from the intersection near the Swatch store, walk straight, cross a road, and you'll find it.

Had an enjoyable stay here at Mercure! Amenities were complete, housekeeping & receptionists were friendly and able to converse in English which made our stay more pleasant. Location of the hotel is sooo convenient. - a 10-min walk from Shinsaibashi/Namba station - has family mart and donki nearby - taxi fare from the hotel to Nankai Namba Station (for the airport) was 1,400 won - all you have to do is cross the main road and you’ll already arrive at Shinsaibashi shopping street! My luggage was also damaged during my flight to Osaka, so the staff politely helped to handle the disposal of my luggage for free. The only thing that slightly bothered me was the superrrr dark lighting in the room. There were times I had to use my phone’s flashlight to find things but it was still bearable for me. Overall, thank you, Mercure :)

The hotel's location is excellent. It's basically right on the Y-line's Yotsubashi Station. It's also a short walk to Shinsaibashi Station on the N and M lines. All three lines are very convenient, making transfers easy. Downstairs, there's a 24-hour Aeon Food supermarket. The prices are reasonable, but for those needing tax refunds, be aware that there are specific hours for that. The room is spacious, clean, and the bathroom is very hygienic. It's the perfect choice for shopping in Osaka.

This is my second time staying at the Comfort Hotel Shinsaibashi. 1. The hotel staff are polite, welcoming, and provide excellent, professional service. 2. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and fully equipped. The size of the room is acceptable. 3. The location is fantastic. Shinsaibashi and Namba are right nearby, making it convenient to return to the hotel after shopping. There are also many dining options in the vicinity. 4. The hotel includes breakfast. The vegetables at breakfast are great, though other items are just average. 5. To get to Kansai Airport: Take the Sakaisuji Line to Tengachaya (Nankai Electric Railway) and then to Kansai Airport. 6. The hotel lobby is on the second floor, accessible by escalator. The ground floor entrance can be a bit hard to find (see attached photo). Overall, the hotel is excellent and very convenient. I would definitely choose to stay here again when I visit Osaka.

It's been over 10 years since I last visited Osaka, so I specifically booked this hotel nearby. I chose it based on the price, ratings, and reviews, and it definitely didn't disappoint – it exceeded my expectations! It offers incredible value for money. It's only a 5 to 8-minute walk from the busiest part of Shinsaibashi. The facilities are very new, and the service is excellent. The room facilities were better than I expected, and I was lucky enough to be assigned to the top floor, so the view was incredibly open and bright. If I could stay on the top floor again next time, that would be absolutely wonderful.

This is my second visit at The Bridge Hotel, my last visit was 3 years ago. I stayed for 6 nights. The hotel feels cosy, staff are warm and friendly, nothing is too trouble for them. Free ramen daily from 2030 to 2130hrs, and I had it for all 6 nights. Not just because it’s free, but the vibe at the restaurant feels like a good connection between the staff and the guests. We had a lady receptionist playing drum for us on one of the nights. I hope the culture continues at the bridge hotel, the little effort every single staff put in, the way activities and amenities the hotel is providing to engage/attract guests. The hotel is generous at its best, while some guest may misuse the benefits given, but I truly appreciate the trust that the hotel is giving to its guests. The Bridge Hotel team will continue to shine. 👍

Stay at this hotel for 4nights..location is good with just 5mins walking distance. Nearby got 7-11 and family mart also. Room is quite big and clean.

It's super convenient for catching a concert at Tokyo Dome! There are tons of shops and malls nearby, so shopping and dining are a breeze. I really enjoyed the breakfast; I love natto, and the Japanese rice was delicious, as was the salmon. I prefer lighter meals, and this place was perfect. If I get the chance, I'd definitely stay here again. It's a small place, but it has everything you need. The front desk area isn't big, but it's very clean.
