"I was very impressed with my stay at Hotel Kinugawa Onsen 💙. The buffet spread for both breakfast and dinner was incredibly extensive, offering a huge variety of Japanese and other dishes. I was completely satisfied and felt it was excellent value for money. The onsen was also fantastic, very clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a truly relaxing soak. The hotel's surroundings were peaceful and immersed in nature, making it perfect for unwinding, recharging, and simply enjoying some leisurely time. "Great value for money, and the room was spacious, which I really appreciated. All the necessary amenities were provided, so my stay was very comfortable. The large public bath was clean and satisfying, and I was pleasantly surprised that they offered a shuttle service to use the public bath at their sister hotel."

"first of I would like to thanks always trip.com for very nice & convinient bookings everytime,we stay new sakura hotel,because the interior of the hotel is mostly sakura theme,the carpet,the gorgeous chandelier, the wall design,etc.or cherry blossom in Japan,& so very affordable prize,we spend only 18,000 yen for 2 adults,with 2 breakfast & 2 dinner.Very near from kinugawa onsen station,only 3 hrs.from Tokyo.We amazed the room,so very big for the two of us,for very cheap prize,can accomodate even 10 person,the buffet breakfast & dinner also is so good but the most I want to share is the drink all you can alcohol beverages for 1 hour,like beer,japanese wine,sours, all kinds of softhdrinks,I enjoyed for self service alcohol drink all you can!the hotspring also is very good but the cons is take care in the outdoor spring because of the concrete stairs,especially for the elderly when slippery,there's & a little bit far from our room,the young staff also at the counter is nice & most of them are young japanese lady,so very entertaining,so many free amusement like billiard,majong,etc.with a nice sorrounding sightseeng site.& last after check out they give 2000 yen discount coupon for the next visit,Thanks God & trip.com for a nice autumn tour moment in kinugawa onsen Tochigi Perfecture Japan"

"The environment is elegant, and I really liked the Western and Japanese style rooms. The spa was also very comfortable 😌... Breakfast is too early, 7:30 and 8:00 – I'm still half asleep! This is a vacation, not going to work. Can't the time be pushed back a bit? We booked dinner, but we arrived late at 7:50 PM, and dinner was gone. We had called them at 7:10 PM to let them know we were stuck in traffic, but the hotel said dinner was gone and wouldn't refund us 😏."

"One of the worst locations at Kinugawa Onsen area. Hidden in the mountain, no significantly beautiful view. Despite we need to pay for ”Hoshino Resort price”, unlike other cheaper hotels, we need to PAY for TAXI ourselves and getting a taxi during new year time is a terribly painful. Hotel staff lack of initiatives getting us cab instead we need to open different apps and such ... and on the way back the following day we ended up walking for 20 mins by ourselves .... Food is ok, onsen is ok, cleanliness ok, but nothing super ordinary. You can pay attention to details in decorations and inhouse services, but you can't pay attention to one of the most obvious services you HAVE TO provide to your guests, Hoshino ---- shuttle service ......."

"Very good hostel, better than in the pictures. We had a room for 4 people with private toilet, only the shower to share. The onsen is very clean and contains two pools inside and outside. Two washing machines and two dryers are available with additional payment. Kitchen is big and clean. The hotel is far from the main activity of Nikko (Nikkō Tōshō-gū and a hike with waterfalls). The train system even if you take Nikko pass in Tokyo is not perfect because it requires to take additional tickets for an express train, because it is not included in the pass."

"Not so worth the price..view from room was good, location was good, but food not worth for what i paid for, dinner and breakfast served a bit normal, taste normal, when breakfast time i ask for a pack of seaweed(only 2 packs on table), the staff was very loud and replied me 'No No No'! Like I'm requesting addditional main dishes from them, I''m a bit shock this is just a small thing and didn't worth a lot of money, you can just reply me 'we don't provide additional, we have only this 1 small pack for 1 customer' will do right, a bit disappointed on this part. Anyways staff at reception was nice!"

"The hotel facilities are complete, the hot spring environment is beautiful, and there is also a swimming pool for me to experience, which is enough for me to have a good swim. I feel comfortable physically and mentally after experiencing these two projects! Personally speaking, the dinner service mode suits me very well, the design is very unique, and I come back with a full meal!"
