Guest UserI highly recommend this hotel room type if you have a big family. The room is spacious with comfortable beds and a small dining area. The location is great, it is just above the train station and there are shopping malls and many restaurants around. If you have your own car, parking is easy and cheap. Free drinks are available at the lobby which offers soft drinks, coffee, wine, beer and sake, kids and adults are pleased with it. I will definitely come back next time if I visit Kanazawa.

Brilliant boutique hotel with truly kind and amazing staff. Only 15 rooms but the staff truly outsize the hotel in terms of what would wow me. They really make you feel very comfortable and safe. Great location to visit Kenrokuen!

FeishiThe room was quite spacious, I had no problem opening my luggage, and I reckon it would be fine for two people as well, plenty of space. There's a bathtub for soaking, and toiletries are self-service, you need to pick them up yourself at the lobby on the ground floor. Check-in is done via machine, with a Chinese language option available. There are also staff at the front desk if you have questions, but the hotel seems to have more Western guests, so the front desk might not speak Chinese (at least I didn't encounter anyone who did). It's best to know a bit of English, otherwise, communication could be a hassle.

Anonymous UserThe location is convenient, with bus stops and the bus terminal right downstairs. There are also many department stores nearby, making shopping a great experience. It's not far from Omicho Market and other attractions. The hotel staff are enthusiastic, and the room isn't small; a twin room is just right for two people. The breakfast was a bit average, but the desserts were good.

Happy Traveller DebLovely hotel with some nice touches (I especially appreciate the free decaf coffee drip bags!). The staff were so lovely and helpful (and very patiently with me whilst calling around multiple izakayas to see if they'd show the World Cup match. The room was very spacious and we were happy there was a gym. Breakfast was pretty good, and it was good being within walking distance of both Kanazawa Station and Omicho market (see photo for delicious seafood) . We were a bit far from other attractions but it forced us to get some extra steps in which was no bad thing!

Casper WongA more traditional kind of hotel targeting a variety of travellers. Close to the Kanazawa Station, so it is a convenient location for getting to various spots. Late checkout available for IHG members

Anonymous UserThis hotel is clearly showing its age and may not meet expectations for those looking for a more modern or well-maintained stay. While it carries the IHG branding, the overall experience feels dated.
One of the main challenges was communication. The front desk staff had very limited English proficiency, making it difficult to get clear directions—especially regarding parking. Guests are required to go to the front desk to ask about parking arrangements, which is not very convenient. The signage outside is also misleading, and it’s easy to mistakenly park at a nearby open-air lot that charges ¥100 per 15 minutes or ¥1000 for 12 hours. The hotel’s designated parking is actually located in a shopping mall, which is not immediately obvious.
The rooms themselves are quite old, with worn facilities. The bathroom had a noticeable musty smell, suggesting poor ventilation or maintenance. Amenities were basic—Dove toiletries were provided instead of the more commonly seen Pola brand in Japanese hotels. The air conditioning was also ineffective, which made the stay less comfortable.
That said, the hotel does have one strong advantage: location. It is directly opposite Ōmichō Market, making it very convenient for exploring the market and enjoying a great local breakfast.
Overall, this hotel may be suitable for travelers
who prioritize location over comfort, but those expecting a smoother and more modern stay might want to consider other options.

kwakjeongchiExcellent! The location is superb, just a 5-minute walk to Kanazawa Station.
The room size was perfect for one person. Check-in and the common areas are located on the top floor. The shared facilities and amenities are well-stocked, and there's a lovely outdoor terrace with a decent view.
Even though it's next to the Shinkansen line, the soundproofing is quite good. The Hokuriku Shinkansen doesn't run that frequently in the early mornings or late evenings anyway, and all trains slow down to stop at Kanazawa Station, so it wasn't noisy at all.
The hotel's interior, starting right from the ground floor entrance, is adorned with gold leaf accents, giving it a very distinct Kanazawa feel.

Stayed at Kanazawa Blue Time Youth Hostel for six consecutive nights.
After arriving at Komatsu Airport, it costs 1300 yen to take the airport bus directly to Kanazawa Station. From the Gumen of the Kanazawa Station sign, walk about 150m to the building where the Youth Hostel is located. The Youth Hostel is located on the 3rd floor and there is no elevator here. It is not convenient to carry large boxes.
The location of the Youth Hostel is very convenient. It is a 3-minute walk to Kanazawa Station. There are various dining and supermarkets in the station. You can walk to the sightseeing areas such as Jinjiang Market, Kenliuyuan, Kanazawa City, 21st Century Art Museum, Dongchawu Street and other sightseeing areas. You can also buy a 1-day bus ticket to visit Kanazawa in the Kanazawa Station sightseeing case.
I stayed in a girls' bed room. The area needs to enter the password. The privacy is very good. There are seven girls' beds. There is a toilet and a shower room for girls. It is clean and comfortable. There is a facial cleanser shower gel conditioner hair dryer. The bed is very spacious, not the bunk bed but the single floor, the space is quite large, there is a locker with a password in the bed, there are slippers, a clean bath towel is provided every day during the stay, and the free network signal is stable. There is also a special tea room in the girls area with a water heater microwave oven. Note that toothbrush and toothpaste are not provided here. Shower room is small and can feel cramped and crowded for tall people. The only problem for me is that the mattress is too soft and I am not very comfortable with it myself.
The public space of the Youth Hostel provides free coffee and tea, and the mixed dormitory area also has a shower room washing area washing machine dryer, which is more complete. This is a good affordable place to stay when traveling alone in Kanazawa, and I have a pleasant time here. Kanazawa is a clean, beautiful, quaint and charming city, and I hope to have the opportunity to visit again.
