The hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to Saga JR Station, which you can arrange by contacting them directly. The rooms are significantly larger than typical hotel rooms and offer beautiful views. The hot spring baths, both indoor and outdoor, are comfortably warm, allowing for long, relaxing soaks in a clean and pleasant environment. The only downside was that the dinner provided wasn't quite to my Chinese palate.

Located in Furuyu, it seems to be suitable for moving to a rental car. The ryokan is small, but I am satisfied with the accommodation, kindness and meals. I am a Japanese cuisine major, so the meal is really the best. Everyone was friendly, especially the photos of the room booked on the site and the actual room to stay were different, but the staff responded well and I had a really comfortable trip. I want to.

It is a small ryokan in a small hot spring town. There are many rest areas decorated in a cute way. The room was moderately sized and properly colored. The scenery outside the window was also green, so it was nice. I applied for dinner and breakfast and ate it, and it was all delicious. After checking in, I took a walk in the village, and there was a clear water flowing stream and a promenade right next to it, and the neighborhood was pretty. There is a very pretty cafe called ”oriori” nearby. There are occasional buses, but you can get there by bus 70 from Saga Station. I rented a car, but when I traveled to Saga, I was on the west side of the forehead. It is a good watch to visit the village, Dakeo Shrine, Library, and Nanatsugama on the north coast. It is not far from the Yoshinogari ruins in the east.
But there were a few unfortunate things.
I ate soba at lunch, but I was a little embarrassed because soba came out again on the dinner menu. I thought dinner was a Japanese home-style, but it was a little disappointing.
Because it's a hot spring village, I'm looking forward to the hot spring, but the bath is too small and the water is too warm, so I only have hot springs in the evening.
When I first arrived and looked for the hotel, the signboard was only in Japanese and was small, so I found it a few times.
But I think it's a pretty romantic hostel.

The hot spring hotel is very suitable for self-driving, there is a small river in front, and the surrounding environment is quiet and beautiful. The hotel is very new. I think most of it is newly built. The staff has a first-class service attitude. The separate room for dinner in the morning is full of privateness. It may not be the peak tourist season and I have stayed in many places. The hotel is very quiet. I did not meet other guests on the day of check-in. The public baths are all bathed by myself. The rooms are Japanese style. The food is good and fresh. I look forward to the next opportunity to stay!

Very unique hotel in a huge container. It is very well maintained with all the facilities required. Meal box provided, it is a simple food but good to have it when you’re tired of driving out again. A Family Mart just beside it , you can get supplies 24 hours. Room and room are well separated, less noise from your neighbours. We love it.

Great
Ddd17bbIt’s an absolute bliss to stay in Suginoya, a luxurious ryokan in Saga. Our saga beef sukiyaki dinner was truly memorable as the quality of the meat was top notch- so soft yet flavorful, something we will remember for a long time. We enjoyed relaxing in the private and public bath, soaking in the zen vibes of the hotel and lounging in the spacious and comfortable room. Staff was friendly and tried to converse in English as best as possible. 100% recommend as we felt fully pampered here like it was our honeymoon all over again!
GGuest UserThe stuff is very friendly, the room is a little bigger than usual but they have a problem with water, sometimes it jumps from warm water to cold for no reason. The breakfast is regular japanese breakfast, small variety but they have default miso soup, rice, vegetables and protein
2203976****I originally planned a trip to Fukuoka but came to Saga for the Saga beef. I booked the convenient Comfort Hotel Saga. The room was really small, and they didn't provide drinking water. On the first floor, they only offered basic cotton swabs and toothbrushes, so I was glad I brought my own cotton pads and shower cap. Check-in and check-out at the hotel were self-service. The hotel's location is indeed excellent; it's within walking distance to Saga Castle and the Balloon Museum. It's also right next to Saga JR Station, and you can take a bus to the famous YouMe Town in Saga. The bus stops are well-connected and right by the JR station, making it very convenient. However, at over 700 [currency unit] per night, the value for money isn't great when it's not peak season. If you prioritize convenient transportation, this place could be a good choice.
GGuest UserMy first experience in Saga. I got a good deal on a flight ticket during the cherry blossom season. I landed in Fukuoka and then headed south to Saga. It was very convenient and there were not many people during the cherry blossom season. The hotel was just opposite Saga Station. I was still debating whether to change to a comfort inn, but found that it was fully booked for the days I wanted to stay. So I thought forget it. A business hotel for 300+, with a bath at night and meals included in the morning, what more could I ask for!
GGuest UserAlthough there is a price range in the Huluyu hot spring, there are plenty of private houses and open-air baths. Although it is not a polite form of reception, it is very kind and inconvenient. Especially the food is very good
GGordon Tan Kee KeongNicely designed hotel. But rooms are small and tight. Not easy to walk around. Location a little off the center of Saga City but lots of car parking available. Service was good and helpful. And you can even buy a fireworks and play!
GGuest UserThe female dorm has a security entrance, so I felt safe staying here.
There is a shopping area just behind the hotel, and lots of eateries available. The Kumamoto castle is also within walking distance.
The washroom's cleanliness and amenities are tip top. There are no complaints. There is also a washing machine and dryer which is convenient if you need to do some laundry during your travels.
There is also a female bath but I didn't have time so I have no comments on that.
There was also a rest area for dining which is good for people who wants to eat take-away or convenience store foods. There is a hot water provider and microwave, but there was no drinking water supply. (I guess you'll need to buy bottled water, which in this case, there are several vending machines within the premise)
NNINI_4everI wholeheartedly recommend this hotel, especially if your budget allows for it!
The room windows offer direct views of the moat, and the hotel is incredibly close to attractions like the hot air balloon festival grounds and shrines.
**Transportation:** From Saga Station, you can take the Showa Bus (towards Karatsu) directly to the hotel. Alternatively, the most convenient option is to simply take a taxi.
**Service:** I absolutely have to commend the hotel's front desk staff! They were an enormous help! Due to heavy rains in the Kyushu region, I found myself stranded in Saga and had difficulty getting around. I wanted to arrange for my luggage to be sent directly to my next hotel in Fukuoka. A lady wearing glasses at the front desk was exceptionally helpful in assisting me with filling out the Takkyubin (luggage delivery service) forms. Even though the courier company ultimately couldn't guarantee delivery to my next hotel before my departure due to the heavy rain, the hotel staff's assistance was invaluable and greatly appreciated!
**Dining:** When it's too hot in summer, taking a break at the hotel's first-floor cafe, sipping coffee and enjoying the views, is a fantastic way to relax. (The Baumkuchen is delicious!)
KKnufbergstravelTiny room with an old and very small Queensize (??) bed. Everything seems to be really old, so does the dust in the corners of the room or of the ventilation in the bathroom.
Service was okay... we could convince them to leave our bicycles outside the hotel entrance (no way to leave them at the ”luggage storage” inside the lobby).
Drinks like coffee, hot chocolate, tea and soft drinks are for free. Microwave free. Also they have a bath house but no sauna for the girls - unfortunately.
Best option in town.
SSongxianghongVery good, is the ideal place for backpackers. A room A alone, big enough, clean facilities, although I will slightly hear someone talking next door, but it does not prevent a person from sleeping. Although the stairs upstairs (2nd floor) are a bit steep, but once a day, go upstairs and go downstairs. According to the information provided by the email, you are not a senior backpacker and have no ability to do things. You must contact the administrator in advance. The location is also very good, about 1.4 kilometers from the station, providing instant coffee. The fly in the ointment is that there is no refrigerator. If you go to Saga, you will still live here.
Some of the best places to stay in Saga City are near popular attractions like Saga Castle Ruins and Saga Shrine, offering easy access to key sights and amenities.
