The location is great, the facilities are great, and the room is very clean. The only downside is that the toilet in the standard double room is very small; you'll bump into it if you turn around. However, there is a free foot bath, a great public space (with limited-time free drinks), and a large public bath. Overall, I would give it a very high rating!

Meeting Warm, learned French auberge, unlocked a knot. I have come to Japan countless times and still don't understand how to call a small hotel with excellent food. The hotel is definitely wrong. The inn seems to be lower grade. The outique does not cover the essence of the meal. It is always poor and difficult to meet. Or the French will play, it is said that the travel method of accommodation in order to pursue food has begun 100 years ago, Japan's auberge began in the bubble economy, and it is impossible to collect. Now, luxury must have a luxury meal to accompany, otherwise, how to enjoy? The decoration of this hotel is not my favorite style at all, stuff is too full, no rules, suffocating. I even determined that the boss himself designed everything according to his own preferences. For example, there is a corner in the lobby that is said to be the appearance of his grandfather's hometown. Some places will have a little whims, such as drilling a few holes in the wood, so that the light can be illuminated from the inside. Such a design, self-appreciation is no problem, put in public places, it is generally the same. I really don't understand what this boss is going to do, from porcelain, wood, to the case board made by the prisoner, there are many things that I don't understand, all-inclusive, and no idea at all. Employees said that the boss's main business is to build bridges, and others are interested, including this auberge, and they will put it here to showcase it for sale if they like it. Once on demand, I saw the point. The template of the room corridor in Figure 2 is the signature tourist attraction of the net. Prison Museum, let the guests live in prison. Good guy, it is really wayward to have money. Selling what prisoners produce is to raise funds to help them return to society more smoothly in the future. A young employee walked up, a little bit awkward, in the past in this grade of auberge never seen, warm hot flow from the heart, wayward boss should also be a kind boss, a comfortable boss in life. Dare to call auberge, the guests must have no low expectations for the meal, after eating two meals, my evaluation is to win in good ingredients, good ingredients or good ingredients. The front desk said that the chef is from the local area, not a famous chef, but from the restaurant, the net lake, grass, garden, rowed in turn, seafood, milk, vegetables and fruits, are all from farm to table distance, such ingredients are simple cooking, is the taste of the world, why should you bluff and go? Why is it called the warmth of the north? The original hotel is located in the cascading garden. This is a popular sightseeing spot in the local area. The score on the Jalan net in Japan is 4.9, and the full score is five points. The traffic is also very convenient. Take a taxi from the Jr station and the starting price is there. Passing by, please don't miss, life is too short, do have fun.

Breakfast and Dinner service especially the boiled kinki fish was excellent. Onsen was just a public bath.
We had an unpleasant encounter where the restroom door was accidentally locked from inside around 10pm. Called the front desk guy who promised to send someone up to check but no one did as we waited throughout the night. We had to approach an old kind lady around 530am the next morning who arranged for the fix around 630am.

Anonymous UserRecently, I stayed at the Abashiri Royal Hotel for one night during my trip to Eastern Hokkaido. When choosing a hotel in Abashiri City, I placed importance on access from the station and the abundance of hot spring facilities, so I decided to make a reservation at the Royal Hotel, which met my criteria perfectly. As a result, I was very satisfied with the location from the station and the hot spring facilities, but there were some disappointing aspects in terms of the facilities in the rooms, so I would like to share my honest impressions.
First, about access. It is very close to JR Abashiri Station, about a 5-minute walk, and is a very convenient location for sightseeing and transportation. You can see the hotel just a short walk from the station, so even travelers who are unfamiliar with the area should be able to get there without getting lost. There are also restaurants and convenience stores scattered around, so you won't have any trouble shopping or eating. In particular, there are several small izakayas around the hotel that serve local Abashiri cuisine, making it the perfect environment for enjoying a night on your trip.
When you enter the building, you will be greeted by a classic lobby that retains an old-fashioned atmosphere. The staff at the front desk were very polite and answered all my questions about sightseeing with kindness. The check-in process was smooth, and I headed straight to my room after receiving the key.
The room was a standard size for a business hotel, well-cleaned, and the bed was carefully made. However, the only disappointment of this stay was the malfunction of the air conditioner in the room. When I checked in, the room felt a little muggy, and although I turned on the air conditioner, it didn't cool down easily, and even when I changed the temperature setting, the air volume was weak and it seemed like almost no cold air was coming out. At night, I managed to avoid the heat by opening the window a little, but the noise from outside was a bit bothersome, and to be honest, I didn't get a good night's sleep. I thought about contacting the front desk, but since I arrived late, I decided to hold off this time.
On the other hand, I was very satisfied with the hot spring facilities. The large public bath on the top floor of the hotel was not that large, but it was clean, and it was said to use local natural hot springs, so my skin felt smooth. The temperature of the water was just right, and it was a great place to relieve the fatigue of a long journey. There is also a sauna, so you can sweat at high temperatures. The flow of traffic between the bath and the water bath is well thought out, and I was glad that there were several chairs prepared. A morning bath was also available, so I was able to leave the next morning feeling refreshed.
As for breakfast, I did not use it this time because I stayed with a plan without meals, but according to reviews from other guests, it was a Japanese and Western buffet style using ingredients from Hokkaido, so I would definitely like to stay with breakfast included next time.
Overall, I felt that the Abashiri Royal Hotel was close to the station, had a good bathing facility, and was a convenient hotel as a base for sightseeing and business. However, I think there is room for improvement in the facilities in the guest rooms, especially in terms of air conditioning. Depending on the season, this may not be a big problem, but I felt that it would be better if the maintenance was a little more thorough in the summer and hot and humid seasons to make a comfortable stay.
The town of Abashiri itself is very attractive, and there are many things to see, such as drift ice sightseeing, the prison museum, and Cape Notoro, so I would definitely use it when I visit again. I hope the air conditioning works properly next time and I look forward to a more comfortable stay.

Guest UserThe room is large enough to accommodate two suitcases. One bed had soft pillows and the other had seed hard pillows.
The room is very close to Asahikawa Bus Terminal. But when we went there, we got off the wrong train at the previous station, Asahikawa Train Station, so we had to walk in the snow for more than ten minutes dragging our heavy luggage. It was very tiring.
There is a larger 711 near the hotel. A 10-minute walk will take you to the shopping street, where you can find yakiniku and ramen shops, warehouse-style supermarkets, second-hand shops, electronic digital stores, and capsule toy shops.
You can contact the front desk to make an appointment for a taxi. Although taxis are expensive in Japan, if you don't know about public transportation, it is still very convenient to take a taxi to go ice fishing or icebreaking.
