"Close to metro and there is a mcdonalds and supermarket next door. Overall experience was average, which for the price was not what I was expecting. Very small single rooms."

"The front desk attendant (young guy in his 30s with curly hair: on Tuesday Jan 10 5pm Rome time @ ARS Best Western hotel): The front desk attendant - he was threatening me with violence and was yelling obscenities telling me to f-off and to f-myself! I work for the embassy and nobody has ever talked to me like that ever! I don’t know what his problem was?? 😔 This is inexcusable / he’s telling me to f myself, and that I’m an *****, and to go f off - nobody deserves to be talk like this, no matter what. It is so sad because I stayed almost a week at this hotel and I really enjoyed it, all the other people were super nice and the service excellent! I am really sad, and I don’t know what the heck happened with this guy - I think he has mental problems & needs anger management therapy. So sad 😞 Ricardo"

"The hotel itself was very nice and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The only criticism I have is that the location is not near any of the major attractions and so we ended up having to take taxis everywhere which ended up being very costly, especially in Rome. The room was very clean and quiet. There was a nice little courtyard in the back where we could enjoy an afternoon cocktail. There was also a nice breakfast every morning. Overall, it was a great hotel, just in an inconvenient location."

"I liked the hotel. The location is great: it's on the outskirts of the city, but it's in a very nice area. The train and metro stations are within walking distance, and there are buses stopping right next to the hotel, making it easy to get to the historic city center. The staff is very friendly. The room is clean and very comfortable. There's a small refrigerator in the room. The breakfast is very generous and delicious. And the coffee is simply excellent."

"The location is super convenient, with a subway line right outside and bus stops nearby. There's also a train station close by. The room was clean, and the service was good! The breakfast had nice hot options like bacon, sausage, and eggs."

"We were extremely satisfied with our stay. We booked a 4 people room,and it was very spacious. The air conditioning was quiet, and the safe box was large enough to fit a laptop. The location was excellent as well—less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, with plenty of restaurants nearby. We arrived in the morning, and the hotel kindly stored our luggage free of charge. We could also refill our water bottles at the restaurant whenever we wanted. The breakfast was plentiful and offered a great variety of choices. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel!"

"I have stayed at Hotel Stromboli a number of times and I’ve always had great service and the best guaranteed value for my budget. I’m a solo senior female traveller on a budget and I’m too old to stay in a hostel. The hotel is great it has a bathroom with a bidet and all the amenities for solo travel like a kettle, fridge. It means you can make hot drinks and snacks in your room without breaking your budget. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so I can’t provide feedback for that. My room was very comfortable. The room was cleaned every day and new sheets/ towels provided. There is no view from my room this time but when I’ve stayed on 3rd floor I’ve had a view. I’m staying on floor 1 this time and I’ve not stayed on this floor before. I have air conditioner so it’s fairly cool. Rome is extremely hot right now. I choose to stay in this hotel because of its proximity to all the sites, museums and central termini. Today I did a day trip to Napoli and it’s a very good hotel for getting to and from the station and airport. The airport bus is just outside. I will continue to stay here as it’s a safe good place to stay in Rome on a budget. There are plenty of great restaurants nearby plus a water fountain! I include some pictures of the visits I do as I have posted a lot of images of the rooms I’ve stayed in so far. I hope you find it helpful"

"Rebibia station is about a 10-15 minute walk away. The hotel is situated next to the Terna company building. It's a bit dated and a little out of the way, but the value for money is excellent – definitely recommended! Breakfast was also good."
