trip with wyn ♡I went to Bandung with my friends and booked this hotel within less than 1 week ahead. Before booking, I did a short research about the best located hotel to the places that we were planning to go to.
Since this hotel is located near Braga area, there are so many viral places and cafes that we planned to go to.
(approximate time spent by online taxi)
- 10 mins to The Deli Bakes Pudak, Prima Rasa
- 11 mins to Theo’s Wife Lois, BAGELICIOUS
- 15 mins to Tji Laki 9
And the most important thing → only 8 minutes ride from Stasiun Bandung (by Woosh from Halim → Padalarang; then move to feeder train to Stasiun Bandung). So, we don’t need to go too early from the hotel.
Service wise, the staff was so helpful, from the check in time, luggage storage and even during the breakfast time.
We gladly spent our time at Crowne Plaza Bandung. Thank you for the ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ hospitality 🙏🏻

It is near a shopping complex. Easy for food. Convenient to those who focus on shopping for suits, clothes and batik. The hotel provides a weight machine that is easy to have your luggage weight before to the airport.

dZulkiI booked Kedaton Hotel Bandung through Trip.com at a very reasonable price, and it was definitely worth the money. The hotel is a bit old, but it is well maintained and offers complete facilities, including a swimming pool and a gym.
The location is another big advantage. It is close to Bandung Railway Station and within walking distance of Braga Street, making it very convenient for sightseeing and getting around the city.
The breakfast was decent with a good variety of food. Overall, if you’re looking for an affordable hotel with good facilities and a convenient location, Kedaton Hotel Bandung is a great choice. I would happily stay here again.

The hotel is in a really good area on busy Braga Street. There's a lot to do and see in the area. The hotel pool is also a plus and a fun place to hang out and see the sunset. However the rooms are a bit dated and cleanliness could be improved a bit. There's also a problem with noise as many guests like to be loud in the hallways very early in the morning. Overall a good place to stay although a bit on the expensive side.

Walking distance to Bandung train station. The station has two exits, the one at the Angkot (local public mini van) terminal has to walk up the overhead bridge to cross the rails leading to the hotel. While from the other exit, turn right and walk straight about 200 meter you can see the hotel's signboard.
We were given rooms at the ground level, at first the twin bed room which has warmer air conditioner. With our request, they allowed us to change to Queen room with better air conditioner. We have to borrow hair dryer from the receptionist and the water dispenser is outside the room. There is lift to upper floor, but we didn't try it. Foods are available when you walk straight further up to the Bandung station.
We used the Angkot to the Lembang tourist area at Indo Rp12,000 per person. Be reminded, no time schedule, only move once the van is full.

It is a good location for sightseeing in Bandung city, as the Bandung Conference Memorial Hall and Asia-Africa Street are within a 5-minute walk. The room I stayed in was spacious and nice, but it didn't look like the room in the original photo and it seemed worse than that room. The advertisement photo shows the window on the left, but the window in the room I stayed in was on the right.

Ok. The room actually looks a little different than in the photos—more rundown and a bit old. There’s no problem with the AC or the hot water, and the bed is comfortable. However, there’s no noise isolation whatsoever. I had a room on the ground floor, and I could hear everything happening at the reception.
At 5 a.m., someone just outside was vigorously sweeping the sidewalk or the parking lot. At 6 a.m., a girl started crying and making a fuss to her parents about something. Then the people at the reception started talking loudly (though they are very kind and friendly, I have to say). In short, it’s very hard to get good sleep.
Oh, and there’s a window right above the door overlooking the corridor. Privacy can be easily breached; anyone could hold up a phone above the door and record what’s happening in the room.
