"A centrally located decent hotel with outstanding amenities. Cleanliness: clean and spotless (not so for my coffee machine but not a big deal as I didn’t use it) Room: nice room, with a lot of seating area, which is a major plus! There are some unobvious parts which are a bit dated, like the tiles on the shower, but not a major issue Location: very central, walking distance to most of the attractions, Budapest Opera House is just behind it, while Danube River is just 10 mins away! Amenities: outstanding! Lounge area on the ground floor offers free coffee and chocolate with snacks 24/7, a heated drying rack in the bathroom for drying your wet clothes, and a few wall hooks for coats when you enter the room! Breakfast: good choice of selections"

"The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. Right behind it is the commercial center Flosmarti Square, and just down from the square is Váci Street, which leads directly to the Central Market. The Parliament Building is only about a 20-minute walk away, so it's incredibly convenient for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. The room features a great wet/dry separation, and the design is very well thought out, with a spacious shower. The hotel's room service is excellent; they even come in every afternoon to turn down the bed, tidy up, and close the curtains to create a perfect sleeping atmosphere. The front desk check-in was a bit frosty. Initially, when we arrived around 1 or 2 PM, they insisted check-in was strictly at 3 PM. However, after asking someone nearby, who might have been a manager, they said we could check in. Overall, it was a pleasant stay."

"I highly recommend the Stories Hotel in Budapest! When I first reserved it, I didn’t realize it shared the space with the beautiful TwentySix restaurant, which later was a big plus! I was travelling with my parents and what I liked was that the room we stayed in offered the space for 3 people! That was something I could not find in other hotels in the city. We really enjoyed the cool aesthetics of the hotel, and with our purchase, the breakfast at TwentySix was included in the price, which was kind and also the breakfast is very delicious! One minor thing was, we had arrived a bit early before check in and had hoped to check into our room earlier, but that wasn’t possible, which is understandable. The next day as we were on a tour for the majority of the morning and afternoon, we had come back to our room to rest and relax a bit, but the room was not cleaned, to the point we just asked for clean towels instead. Apart from those minor things, I would stay there again! Another plus, it was close to a lot of places for visit! 🤗"

"My stay at Dormero Hotel Budapest was very pleasant. The hotel is ideally located, within walking distance of the city center and many major attractions, such as the Danube River, the Chain Bridge and the Holocaust Memorial. There are also many good cafes and restaurants around, and the transportation is also very convenient. The whole room is very clean and tidy, full of modernity, and the color matching is simple but warm. The bed is comfortable, the pillow is soft, and the sleep quality is very good. The bathroom is clean, the hot water is sufficient, and the towels and toiletries are of good quality. The most special thing is that the room is equipped with a free minibar, which replenishes mineral water and several drinks every day, which makes me feel very considerate. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out are very efficient. Although some employees are not particularly fluent in English, there is no big problem in communication, and the service attitude is sincere."

Plus, there are supermarkets, convenience stores, a variety of restaurants, and cafes all within easy reach. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it offers the usual breakfast items, and the overall taste is good. However, there were occasional small flies near the food. The hotel staff were friendly, and the room was very clean. The air conditioning in the room was strong, though it did make some noise on the highest setting, which could slightly affect sleep at night. Overall, I would recommend this hotel! 👍"

"The staff were friendly. The room was small but clean, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. There was soap and shampoo in the shower. The room also had two complimentary bottles of water in the fridge. Tea and coffee were available on the floor. The room was equipped with a kettle, hairdryer, and clothes dryer. There's also a mini-kitchen in the hallway where you can even cook. When I stayed at this hotel, it was extremely hot, nearly 40 degrees Celsius, and I was on the top floor. However, the air conditioning in the room worked perfectly, making it very comfortable. The location is excellent; it's about a 20-minute walk to the Parliament. The Opera metro station is just a stone's throw away, providing direct access to the Szechenyi Baths. The 100E bus stop is also only an 8-minute walk from the hotel, which is super convenient. The location is truly great."

"The room was basic and clean with good air conditioning, although it was quite noisy. Also, light from the hallway leaked in under the door, which meant waking up at night when people in the neighboring room returned from their night out. The breakfast was basic and okay, nothing special, especially for someone on a meatless diet. If something ran out, it wasn't necessarily restocked. The area was okay, with quite a few abandoned or abandoned-looking buildings around. It was a short walk to the restaurants in the Jewish Quarter and to the city center. There was no need to buy a public transport day pass or tickets at all. The only time we paid for a ride (taxi) was when we visited the Pál-völgyi cave, which was well worth visiting!"

"This hotel is in an ideal location close to the opera and St Stephen’s Basin in the heart of Pest. The staff are friendly and welcoming and helpful , available all day long. The accommodations have super comfortable beds, crisp linen and classic and functional bedroom layout that includes a safe, fridge and kettle. The ensuite shower room is well appointed, includes a hairdryer shower gel, hand wash and body lotion..and most importantly a fantastic fast flowing shower. The prices are super competitive, the breakfast menu is extensive and serves great coffee ! A bar and food service is also available with several different seating areas where guests can relax and socialise … A fantastic package and a thoroughly enjoyable stay in central Budapest.. accessible to all the main attractions, eateries, ruin bars , shopping and the Danube river ."
