My partner and I stayed at this hotel for a weekend and we were delighted! The rooms are well-appointed, bright, and beautifully decorated, as was the bathroom. The bedding is perfect, with king-size mattresses and immaculate white linens: we slept very well! It's also worth noting that despite the location in the heart of the city, we weren't bothered by noise because the rooms are perfectly soundproofed.
A special mention goes to the housekeeping staff: the room was perfectly clean. Nothing to complain about except thank you for your excellent work.
Finally, a huge plus: the location.
We visited everything on foot, without even taking the tram! You're close to everything: bars, restaurants, shops, and major cultural attractions.
I would definitely come back! Thank you for these wonderful services.

I was a bit hesitant on the first night because the hotel was so incredibly cheap, which is great. But after staying for a night, the experience was fantastic. I have a small suggestion: you can ask the front desk to be placed near the elevator, as many rooms are quite far back and a long walk, making it easy to get lost.

We had a 4 night stay 29 April to 3 May 2026.
The room was reasonably clean and tidy but small, and the bed was comfortable.
The room had no windows, which was as described in the booking but was extremely hot.
We were given 2 fans but that didn't do very much. It was extremely hard to sleep in the heat of the room. There were no radiators in the room, so we don't know where the heat was coming from.
The TV didn't work. We reported it and was told someone would come and deal with it, but they never did
.
Overall the stay was ok.
If the TV had worked and the temperature was right,it would have been a good stay.
The location is great for the city centre.

Nice place to stay with the reasonable price. The room quite old because of the rug but the furnitures seem fine. The shower in my room has a little bit leaking. My most favorite thing is the breakfast. The waiters are nice. There is just a female manager (the one with glasses) who operate the breakfast room was rude on our first day. She keep asking us Are her colleague invite us in the room before she know our room number? In that case we have waiting in the middle of no where for 5 minutes. But everything except that is still good.
The location is totally good if you want to sightseeing the city both by walking around and go on tram to see a football matches.

I had a lovely time at the hotel. It was a few minutes walk to Manchester Central (Convention centre) where I attended a programme. So that was super convenient. The room was cozy and clean. Ambience in the hotel was nice. The hotel had nice places to get food and snacks within walking distance.
The only downside was that my room didn’t have a fridge, I needed one. I don’t remember seeing an iron but I didn’t need one. All else was good 😊
Welcome to this modern hotel, smack bang in the centre of one of Europe's most exciting cities where all the culture and excitement of Manchester and the Phones 4u Arena are just a stroll away. See up-to-the minute acts at a comedy club, or go vintage clothes shopping at Afflecks. Watch a great movie at the Cornerhouse, or gaze out across the north west from the 23rd floor of Beetham Tower, then come back to incredibly comfy beds and mouth-watering food at our restaurant.
GGuest User2025.06.21
The room was overall clean, tidy, and spacious. Coinciding with a heatwave, the air conditioning provided comfortable and cool relief. However, the shower drainage was poor, causing water to accumulate quickly on the bath tub. Additionally, we parked in the hotel's outdoor open-air parking lot. Near the hotel’s sewer pipes, there was a sewage leak. The parking spot had an extremely foul smell, and we could see sewage overflowing from the sewer pipes on the exterior wall. The ground around the parking area was filthy.”

Close to Manchester Victoria Station on foot! I think the location is convenient.
I think that there is a staff who speaks friendly in the Kansai dialect that I spent at the front desk at a university in Osaka, so I think that those who are worried about Japanese are safe.
Immediately after crossing the south bridge, there is also the Manchester Cathedral and the National Football Museum, which is a very good location for sightseeing.
Next to Manchester Cathedral was also a statue of Gandhi.

Located opposite Manchester's Chinatown, it's very convenient for those who fancy Chinese food. Other attractions like the long-distance bus station and the main train station are about a 20-minute walk away. The room is well-equipped and offers great value for money. Highly recommended.
Bang in the heart of Princess Street, ibis offers 132 bright, modern en suite bedrooms and a warm welcome. Location is key here, with Manchester's main attractions within easy reach, including the bustling nightlife hubs of Canal Street and China Town, plus Manchester Conference Centre, the University, the AO and CO-OP Arenas, and of course the hallowed City and United football stadiums.
With free fibre Wi-Fi, a 24-hour restaurant and a well-stocked bar, your Manchester getaway is off to a great start.

The location is convenient, within walking distance to the city center and Manchester University. Although the room is small, it's fully equipped with a hairdryer and kettle, and there's complimentary coffee and tea. The hotel doesn't have a car park, but the staff were very friendly and explained that there's paid parking next to the hotel. You only need to pay until 8 PM, and then it's free until 8 AM the next morning. Thanks to the hotel staff for their help.

Great
HhakunaVery close to the train station, and we were upgraded to a two-bedroom apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped, so you can cook your own meals. There's a supermarket and restaurants downstairs. Highly recommend!
GGuest UserTribe hotel is 2 minutes walk to the airport. Lovely modern rooms. Bar and restaurant staff extremely friendly. We were a party of 14 and they accommodated us in a private area and Lewis the waiter looked after us efficiently while being friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserWe enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The bed was comfortable and the staff were friendly. We were a little disappointed, however, that we were unable to have a drink at the bar (even though there were lots of seats available) without pre-booking. Maybe guests should be informed of this when booking. Otherwise, we had a good time.
PPhoenix969The place is close to terminal 2. Very clean rooms, checkin was smooth took only a min. Room had all amenities. It’s a bit small but it’s ibis budget. Highly recommend this. I stayed all day in lobby as I was working they had no issues. Breakfast was basic but fine.
Ttraveller2002Absolutely loved our stay at The Midland Manchester – everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for us. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely looked after, and the service throughout was faultless.
The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud – we had some of the best nights’ sleep we’ve had in ages! The room service was prompt, professional, and the food was delicious – a real treat after a long day exploring the city.
Speaking of relaxing – the spa was absolutely divine. Clean, calming, and wonderfully designed, it was the perfect escape. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had – incredibly soothing and tailored to perfection. If you’re in need of some proper pampering, this is the place to be.
Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for better. Right in the heart of Manchester, everything is within walking distance, yet the hotel still manages to feel like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle.
All in all, The Midland is a true gem. Comfortable, elegant, and run by an outstanding team. We’ll absolutely be back!
GGuest UserThis hotel was a positive surprise to me. I did not expect more than a bed to sleep close to the center of Manchester for the price I paid for the stay and they offered so much more with the friendliness and professionalism of the frontdesk service staff, the varied breakfast and comfortable bed. The hotel is however a bit outdated and I missed a usb plug in the room for charging mobile as I am a European traveller and the plug is different. Luckily front desk helped me with an adapter for the night. I also had a small lunch at the Garden restaurant and whether you go there for a drink or food you will find nice staff and you can taste the freshness of the products used.
All in all, great value for money.
TTheVoyagerThe room was clean and cosy and front-desk was friendly and responsive. We booked mainly to check out the pool, spa and gym as advertised by the hotel. So it was really disappointing when we found out that these facilities were closed on Xmas day and on other days operated at limited hours when we were there. The pool, sauna, steam room and gym are operated by a separate company from the hotel. That meant operating hours of those facilities are not catered for hotel guests at all. And it also meant sharing the facilities with members of the gym. So if you’re thinking of staying here and using the gym or pool, just bear those things in mind. Breakfast selection was quite limited. Very bare selection of any salads or greens. Quite embarrassing as well to see that clean plates were not available several times when there were less than 20 covers at breakfast. I understand it was the holiday season and the hotel is understaffed. But I’m sure this is not the first Christmas or NYE the hotel has encountered.
AAnonymous UserGreat hotel for couples! The location is very convenient, and the breakfast food was really good and fresh. Everything met our expectations, and we enjoyed our stay.
GGuest UserNothing fancy but everything I needed. The people really wanted to help with every quiz that I had. I am actually going back to Manchester today and I am actually going to look at the prices for the 2 nights I'm staying up there.
GGuest UserMy man told me the doors locked yet there wasn’t any batteries to make functional, he also said I looked like a stoner n can happily smoke ****, so I took upon his request and enjoyed my stay to the fullest, was beneficial of the pricing range as the cost was no more then a 3.5 per bedroom
As for the the essential part of the trip, my associate commandeered a new sleeping partner,
So many thanks to the OUO house members for letting us stay in Middleton 😘
