Hotels near Slain's Castle, Aberdeen

The location is a bit inconvenient; it's hard to carry luggage up and down stairs. The hotel has a dedicated car park, but it costs £13.50, and you have to walk quite a distance with your luggage from the car park to the main entrance.

Short walk from the airport. But still a quiet location. Modern rooms with good facilities. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Stayed in family room with sofa double bed, which worked well.

We were coming for a special event and asked for a lovely room, we were very pleased with the room and the staff and the breakfast was first class, would def stay again.

The Chester is close to town and a quality hotel that we suspect would be rated higher if it had the gym and pool and spa that many five star hotels have. But, they are not needed. The room was a good size, with all necessary facilities. The common areas of the restaurant are of high standard and the food was excellent. Our room had a couple of minor issues. The shower door leaked a littlw, but caused no problem. The deadlock on the door dod not engage, but we were not concerned as there was a locked door between our door and the public areas. We will happily use again, particularly as the prices were reasonable and the standards and quality were very good in our experience.

My trie room is a double bed + single, with ample of space for a tube arm chair and a comfy office chair with rollers. You got all one needs for daily. All function well. Best location to bus station and train.  Big shopping mall, variety of chain eateries. M&S food is by the end of the mall.  Service is efficient and sincere. Clean and best spring supported mattress & pillows among the hotels I used so far in the UK with the same grade.  I wish they could change my dirty mugs when the 2 days I ask to clean up the room during my 6 nights of stay.

I had a very good time at the hotel very friendly staff good clean hotel. I would stay here again but possibly in the summer ☀️ the rooms are good with comfortable beds the only thing is the double mattress are two singles pushed together but still comfy the decore is abit outdated but it goes with the hotel. My suggestion would be for a spar or swimming pool

Unfortunately, I'm disappointed with this hotel. The most important thing is that taxis can't pull up to the hotel because there's a sign on the roundabout next to the hotel prohibiting parking and a £10 fine. I ordered a taxi and waited in the hotel lobby. No one from the staff informed me about this. The taxi almost left without me, and as a result, I would have missed the helicopter departing for the platform. Secondly, I think the standard of your breakfast is important not only to me. I really have five times more choice at work. Unfortunately, I decided not to stay at your hotel anymore to avoid stress.

The hotel was nice with good sized room & helpful staff.   I’m not a fan of bath with a shower curtain but that’s probably my only negative.

Great value for money and location, location, location! Aberdeen House is fantastic value for money. I stayed for 3 nights on the second floor, the room was clean, comfortably warm and despite being located on a major road the outdoor noise was minimal and did not disturb sleep. Staff were helpful and offered to clean the room daily. There is a kettle, tea, coffee and sachets of uht milk and sugar in the room. What makes Aberdeen House stand out is it's location, directly opposite the train and intercity coach station and around the corner from the ferry terminal for the Orkney and Shetland Isles. It is also directly opposite Union Square Shopping Mall with international brand shops and wide choice of cafes and restaurants and a Cineworld cinema. There are also a wide range of independent shops, cafes and restaurants nearby.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stayed here for one night with my wife and had a great experience. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. A comfortable place to stay, perfect for visiting the castle nearby. Highly recommend this hotel!
