convenient location, near the coach station, safe to walk from the metro at night. The staffs are nice, simple breakfast with toasted bread and few choices of cereals, juice is available. But the room is really hot during the heat wave, it’s quite unbearable…would prefer to stay in a hotel with ac🥲. But overall it’s a pleasant stay.

Hyatt Regency London Albert Embankment beautifully positioned on Londons South Bank, offers amazing views over the River Thames. Relax in an elegant, air-conditioned room with free wifi, Nespresso coffee machine, and floor to ceiling windows-many which overlook the River Thames. The hotels food and beverage outlets cater to a variety of tastes with POTUS restaurant and bar serving modern British and American cuisine while Mezemiso offers a variety of Lebanese and Japanese dishes.

GGuest User 2023.08.08
The location is not absolutely central, and the tube station was 10 minutes walk, but was convenient and quiet. There were two pubs nearby for food and drinks. The hotel reception was efficient and friendly. It was not the usual Hyatt Regency with limited facilities. The room I requested with a view of the Big Ben was amazing. However, it had a relatively small bed. The shower facilities were good and modern.

The room was a bit small with average ventilation, but that's to be expected in such a prime location. Dining in the lobby felt a bit cramped. Overall, it was decent. The front desk manager provided excellent service, and luggage storage was convenient. The environment was clean and hygienic, and it's very close to the city center and the station.

The service I received at the hostel was great, the check-in was easy and very pleasant, however it is important to note that if you are over 45 you are required to get a private room and not a dormitory. They still accommodating me nicely, which was handy as it was a short notice booking. The whole of the hostel was very clean and my room was very quiet, I was fortunate that in a six bedroom there were only two of us. It was also an ensuite room so there was a sink in the sleeping area and then a cubicle which had a toilet shower and another sink. The only issue with it was it was rather small so when you are sitting on the toilet, your knees are banging against the sink unless you are under 5 foot. The bedding was very clean and comfortable, the mattresses were rather thin and there is a firm piece of wood under them which made it rather hard, which I do like so I slept okay. They had curtains on the bunks which was a very nice privacy and keeping the light out feature. Each bunk had its own small reading light and USB ports. I can't comment on the food as I did not eat there but the kitchen area was good as was the seating area for eating and I made a new friend whilst chatting to people and eating.

The hotel is super close to the subway station, right in the city center. There's a security guard checking cards at the entrance, so it might not be for picky princesses looking to save money. If you've stayed in hostels, this is like a luxurious version. Each room requires a key card to enter, and the individual doors can be locked (I recommend bringing your own lock). If you're a light sleeper, definitely bring noise-canceling headphones or earplugs. No waiting for the toilet or shower.

We look forward to welcoming you at The Best Western Victoria Palace hotel in Central London, for a modern and cozy break in the capital. Whilst staying with us you will enjoy a prime location in the very heart of London, within walking distance of many of the citys most celebrated attractions. Buckingham Palace is less than a 20-minute walk away, so why not head there for 10:30 a.m. and get a good spot for the changing of the guard. You’ll also be a 20 minute walk from the London Eye, for some breath-taking birds eye views of the city. Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square and Downing Street (to name a few) are also close by, meaning you’ll be able to tick off all the biggest points of interest. For something a little more obscure – we’ll have plenty of recommendations. Visit the night time food market Street Feast, Kayak down the Thames, or visit Jumeirah Carlton Tower for a spectacular 1960’s afternoon tea. If you’re visiting London for a weekend of spending, Carnaby Street and Oxford Street are both just 20 minutes away by tube. If you feel like a more extravagant splurge, London’s highly exclusive Mayfair is also 20 minutes away. You’re sure to work up an appetite during your day of sightseeing or shopping, so check out Time Out’s listing of the best restaurants in London for some incredible - yet still very affordable – food spots. If you wish to venture away from London, were proud to be a hugely convenient London hotel just five minutes’ walk of Victoria Station and Victoria Coach Station.

The conditions are really average, and they live in the auxiliary building. There is no elevator. The key is the small staircase around the corner. I want the waiter to help me move it. (Of course, I will tip.) Isn't it friendly, we ask if there is a lower floor? The front desk said, just stay in the basement. The room is small and normal, but there are live 里面 ️ in the towel, the trash can pedal is broken and the lid cannot be turned up. The large vacuum cleaner outside the door and the replaced bedding make the originally narrow aisle more crowded. Apart from this, other London hotels should stay again

Lovely hotel in a great location, close to rail/coach/tube stations, and local shoos and restaurants. There is the option of breakfast if you like for an extra charge. The staff are welcoming and friendly and reception is manned 24/7. Can also leave your luggage securely after check out if you want to spend the day exploring London. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable with ensuite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. This is a Victorian townhouse so corridors and hallways are narrow, but there is a lift to all floors. Really enjoyed staying here and will stay again next time I visit London

CchristiatheoMy stay at Novotel London Canary Wharf was overall very solid, with a few standout moments that made it memorable. The first thing that struck me was the hotel’s modern feel. Everything from the reception area to the corridors had a clean, stylish look. Check-in was quick, and the staff were polite and professional, though not overly personal. It felt efficient rather than warm—but still perfectly pleasant. The room itself was comfortable and well thought out. The bed was great for a good night’s sleep, and the blackout curtains worked really well—ideal if you want to fully rest after a busy day. The room wasn’t huge, but it made smart use of space, and everything felt practical. The view was definitely a highlight, especially if you’re on a higher floor—you get a great look at the surrounding Canary Wharf skyline. Facilities were another plus. The gym was well-equipped for a hotel, and the swimming pool was a nice bonus, especially for unwinding in the evening. However, it can get a bit busy at peak times, which slightly takes away from the relaxing vibe. The rooftop bar is probably the hotel’s best feature. The views are genuinely impressive, and it has a more premium feel compared to the rest of the hotel. Prices are a bit on the higher side, but that’s expected given the location and setting. Location-wise, it’s ideal if you’re staying in Canary Wharf for work or prefer a quieter part of London. It’s not as lively as central areas like Soho or Shoreditch, but transport links are excellent, so getting around isn’t an issue. On the downside, the lifts were occasionally slow, especially during busy hours, and the breakfast area could feel crowded. The breakfast itself was decent, though not particularly memorable. Overall, Novotel London Canary Wharf offers a reliable, comfortable stay with great views and solid amenities. It may not feel ultra-luxurious, but it delivers good value and a pleasant experience in one of London’s most modern districts.

AAnonymous UserWe stayed at the Wilde Aparthotel Aldgate Tower Bridge for two nights at the end of August and had a rather underwhelming experience. We expected more from this hotel, judging by its ratings online. As Coldplay was in town (our reason for visiting London), prices were higher than average. The hotel is a five-minute walk from Aldgate East and about eight minutes from Aldgate Station. Liverpool Street Station is technically in walkable distance aswell, though taking the bus there is easier, with a stop right in front of the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend walking to Whitechapel for the Elizabeth Line – the walk felt long, annoying, and unsafe. Also, avoid walking further down the road toward McDonald’s after dark – sketchy atmosphere, and we saw two police scenes within those five mins of walking. Walking to Aldgate or Liverpool Street is safer. The arrival was.. odd. No one greeted us, and we waited in the lobby for several minutes before someone finally helped us at a not-so-clean high table. The staff member seemed demotivated and spoke very quietly, though check-in was quick. Unfortunately, we were charged twice despite prepaying nearly a year earlier through a third party. This was resolved after I spoke with the manager, but I was surprised it was marked as a “user error” on our invoice, and no small gesture like waiving the early check-in fee was offered for the inconvenience. We were given a room on the 9th floor. The corridors are dim, with black walls and stuffy air despite it being just 22 degrees outside. The “triple room” is simply too small for three adults. The storage areas under the twin beds is smart, and there is a small wardrobe with two drawers, but oddly no safe to store your valuables. A table and chair cramped the room unnecessarily and looked cheap compared to the rest. The sofa bed was decent but had a pretty thin mattress and annoying metal railings that can be a little annoying when standing up / lying down; there was also no nightstand, only a photo shelf right above it where you really can’t put anything. The kitchen area becomes very narrow once the sofa bed is pulled out. The fridge and sink were great, but the bins were tiny and filled up after just one day. The bathroom was also cramped, with practically no counter space. No toothbrush cups, Q-tips, or cotton pads were provided – unusual for a 4-star property. The soap dispenser was nearly empty and even fell out of its holder, and none of the dispensers were secured/locked, which isn’t hygienic (most hotels have that nowadays, for a reason!). We didn’t know where to go with dirty towels as there was no designated spot for them and no space. The heated towel holder being *right* next to the toilet is weird and inconvenient. We had the AC running for hours & hours on end, yet it barely managed to cool down the room to an acceptable temp. At least it was quiet enough to keep on at night. The TV had few channels but casting worked very well. Light controls were fine, and the blackout blinds were excellent– also essential, since the windows aren’t tinted from the outside. On the positive side, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, and it was quiet at night despite the hotel being full. We skipped breakfast as there are better options near Liverpool Street Station that we wanted to try out. All in all, our first ever stay at a Wilde property was just okay. The location is central but not particularly the nicest, the staff lacked warmth, and the triple room was way too small for three adults. It should not be sold as a triple for three adults and would be better suited for parents with a small child. I imagine the higher room categories might do a better job of accommodating three adults. We had what we needed; a clean room with good public transport connections. However, we wouldn’t stay here again as there’s better options out there.

GGuest UserVery nice staff, very helpful. Breakfast buffet available, and when I needed to leave very early in the morning they provided me some cold food(croissants, muffins, oranges and hot coffee/chocolate). They also provide tooth brush/paste, shaving set, comb when asked at the reception. A couple of minor things: corridors are a bit hard to navigate for me, was not obvious which door leads to elevators, needed to read the signs after getting lost 😅. I am not sure but breakfast seems to be the same every day? On the second day of my stay eggs were not there, but the rest was the same, I guess. I loved the option that you can grab a cup of coffee/chocolate/tea with you to go after you finished your breakfast. Not sure about every room, but mine didn't have a refrigerator, but I remember in my other IHG hotel stay there was one. Also hearing is possible only via air conditioner, and the maximum temperature is regulated, as I understood. Otherwise very neet hotel, clean, friendly.

GGuest UserPros: - Decently sized, standard layout and comfortable rooms. - Rooms are quite clean, service in general was nothing too special but gets the job done! - Convenient location near buses and metro to Central London / Oxford for a day trip, close to Westfield London which has great number of F&B outlets, supermarkets and shops. Cons: - Housekeeping was inconsistent; stayed for 6 days, everyday was missing something different, not being replenished in the room; could be tea, coffee, hand towels, tissue paper, toilet paper etc… had to keep calling for service every night throughout the stay. If housekeeping had set up the room in standard, hassle could be alleviated from all parties as it takes the housekeeping more than 20 minutes every time to bring the items. - Both toilet paper rolls were removed unexpectedly one night, even when we certainly left the room with them both in the morning which I find a bit funny as there wasn’t even a need to replenish - but simply removed. - Clock timing was incorrect 6 days throughout the stay and nobody clocked that nor changed it. - Slight wear and tear in the room but nothing too major affecting our stay apart from the bathtub glass panel seam being broken and water kept coming out of the shower. - Emergency alarms went off at 730AM with no explanation. - There was daily construction noise and one day the workers and equipments were all outside our room for a good 4 hours in the morning to afternoon time. Again, I don’t blame it because maintenance is important but a notice would be nice. Overall, I think the hotel gets its job done, the room and location were decent and comfortable. It’s the housekeeping and maintenance fell below expectations.

AAlison’s Silk Road TravelsI stayed in room 302 in March 2026 for 1 night. I chose this hotel because I stayed there before and I was very impressed. This time I was given the same room again, I liked the room. It has a large comfy bed and a nice clean bathroom. The breakfast was really good as I like vegetables and they do great omelettes and fresh vegetables. The reception staff are very kind and helpful during my visit and remembered me from the last time I stayed. The hotel is in very easy access to the underground. On this visit the Elizabeth line was closed and I had to get a bus to agents Hill. This was very easy. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel including an all you can eat from £11.99. I always have a good Stay at this hotel. There is a kettle with plenty of T and coffee. Some people staying on my floor were very noisy but that was all I can criticise really as it wasn’t the hotels fault. Very kind staff. There is a decent TV in the room and plenty of towels. During this trip and overnight stay I visited the Ramses exhibition at Battersea and images are included in this feedback. A good hotel to stay in that’s great value just outside central London about 20 mins on train.

As Asian, I really enjoy the meal here. They gave me early check in at 11 in the morning which is much appreciated. Overall is 10/10

2201675****The room was tiny, barely enough space to turn around, and once we opened our suitcases, they completely blocked the door. As for the shower, it was barely usable, just enough to get by. The upside is the incredibly convenient location. It's right next to Paddington Station and the tube, making it super easy to get anywhere. Hyde Park is just a few hundred meters away – perfect for a stroll through the park, enjoying the scenery, and feeding the pigeons. Buckingham Palace is only about a kilometer further. During the Christmas season, Regent Street is just four bus stops and a hundred-meter walk away. It was quite expensive, but that's London for you. It really depends on what you prioritize. If you just need a place to sleep that's well-located for exploring, it's a decent option.
