"I had an excellent stay at Holiday in London Hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the location was ideal for exploring the city.
One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast served every morning. There was a great selection of fresh, tasty food, and it was the perfect way to start each day.
A special thank you to Sultana, who was an amazing host. She was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. Her outstanding hospitality and genuine care made my stay even more enjoyable.
The customer service throughout the hotel was exceptional—friendly, professional, and always delivered with a smile.
I highly recommend Holiday in London Hotel to anyone visiting London. I look forward to staying here again."
"The location is super convenient! It's within walking distance to both the metro and bus stops. The area is full of those charming white terraced houses, and there are quite a few hotels of this type around. There's a restaurant right across the street and a supermarket near the metro station."
"The room was surprisingly spacious, easily accommodating four people. The bedding and bathroom were quite clean, though the furniture and flooring showed their age a bit. Overall, the interior felt compact but functional. They offer convenient luggage storage before check-in and complimentary storage after check-out, which is a huge plus for travelers. The surrounding area is nice, with a supermarket nearby and the subway station not too far off. Best of all, it offers great value for money."
"I recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a good experience. The service was friendly and the location was very convenient. However, I did run into one issue that affected my stay. In the morning, when I went to take a shower, the water wouldn’t get warm at all. Unfortunately, I ended up having to take a cold shower, and since I was rushing to make an appointment, I didn’t have time to report it or get it resolved."
"Cheerful and pleasant staff. Room is spacious with kitchen and washing machine all in good settings. Perfect for family in London for travel over a week. Close to Earls Court station and supermarket nearby."
"The room and service were quite good, and we were comfortable during our stay.
The bathroom is in need of improvement; the vanity was broken and unusable, and the tiles were cracked. The window was also in poor condition. Furthermore, we could hear the people in the other room from the bathroom."
"Amazing hotel! Perfect location for the Albert Hall or South Kensington to get into central London. From check in to checkout the team could not have been more helpful. Beautiful rooms and a great compact gym area. Every detail has been thought through which was nice. The bar had its own terrace area and the service and food was superb. Would definitely return here."
"Issues with luggage as held and have 7 tickets and returned 6. Had to cancel train for two people as had to
Wait for Uber driver to deliver the missing luggage and had to pay myself. Ended up paying 2 x Uber fares and getting a later train for two people and lost two tickets trains as had to wait for luggage. Was a very expensive trip for an overnight stay"
"The hotel's location is superb, right next to the metro station with plenty of shops nearby like Nando's, Paul, M&S Food, McDonald's, and KFC. However, the staff's service attitude is very inconsistent. On my first night, I told them I was leaving early the next morning and asked if they could prepare a breakfast box for me. The staff member on duty said they would check and get back to me later. I never received a reply, and the next morning, the staff on duty said they hadn't heard anything about it. One Asian staff member, who claimed to be a senior employee, actually had a very poor attitude and I felt discriminated against; I'd advise avoiding them! On the other hand, an Indian staff member was very nice and helpful!"

Great
BBertBenThis hotel is pretty good for the price. The room size was just right, and the staff were very friendly. We arrived around 11 AM, and they allowed us to check in early, which was great. The breakfast had a lot of choices and is worth trying.
The only two downsides are: if you walk from Whitechapel, that area feels a bit messy and smells quite strong. Also, the kitchen is really small, but it seems like most Aparthotels in Europe are like that.
EEhime OmokhodionI recently stayed at Novotel London Canary Wharf and it was one of the most enjoyable hotel experiences I’ve had in London. From the moment I checked in, the atmosphere felt modern, welcoming, and effortlessly comfortable.
The highlight of the stay was definitely the view from my room. Waking up to the Canary Wharf skyline and watching the city lights come alive at night was incredible. The floor-to-ceiling windows made the entire room feel bright and spacious, and the panoramic cityscape gave the stay a real luxury feel.
Another standout experience was visiting Bōkan, the hotel’s restaurant and rooftop bar. The views from up there are absolutely breathtaking , you get a stunning panoramic perspective of the whole of London, from Canary Wharf to landmarks across the city skyline. Whether during sunset or later in the evening, the atmosphere is unforgettable. The combination of great food, drinks, and those sweeping views made it one of the best parts of the trip.
The hotel amenities were also excellent. The pool was clean and relaxing, perfect after a long day exploring or working in the city. The gym was well-equipped with everything needed for a proper workout, and the sauna added an extra touch of relaxation that really elevated the overall experience.
Overall, Novotel London Canary Wharf delivers the perfect mix of comfort, modern luxury, amazing facilities, and spectacular London views. I’d happily stay there again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Canary Wharf.
KKL@@Great place to stay very local to tube. All the staff were very polite, friendly, attentive and kind as well as maintaining professionalism. Breakfast had a good selection, however I like the light option but one can clearly enjoy whatever they wish. I slept very well. The rooms were spacious with Aircon and as a bonus I couldn’t hear anyone from other rooms. I would definitely recommend ROCKWELL to others and I would stay here again. Thank you for my stay!
WWangwangjinshuiFantastic location! Plus, the room was a spacious suite. Even though the lighting wasn't the best, it did have two small windows. The welcome fruit was a nice touch, and there was even a bottle of red wine – definitely felt like a special occasion. And the breakfast was delicious too. Worth it!
GGuest UserThis was the first hotel for our family's UK trip. After much deliberation, we chose this Holiday Inn Express which is quite close to the city center. The location is excellent, with easy access to the subway, buses, and trains. The hotel maintained the consistent quality of the Holiday Inn brand. We were also lucky enough to snag a group deal that included parking and some meals. A special thank you goes to Christina, a kind and patient lady who speaks Chinese. Due to the high demand for rooms on the weekend and our first-time use of a Ctrip hotel group coupon, the check-in process was a bit convoluted, but the final outcome was very satisfying. Our family left London happily to begin the next leg of our journey. BTW, we encountered many odd Indian guests; whether it was in the cramped elevator or at the popular breakfast buffet, they all exuded a strange confidence, as if they owned the place. I wonder who gave them that idea 🤔🤔🤔
AAnonymous UserThe hotel service was excellent. The concierge offered complimentary luggage storage, and our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and amenities provided. The room itself was fully equipped with everything we needed. This year, the UK has experienced unusually hot weather, so having air conditioning indoors was a huge plus. The transportation is very convenient, as it's only about 300 meters from Shepherd's Bush, and the Westfield shopping center nearby makes shopping super easy. I'd definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit.
BBoYanboThis is a 'decent' hotel. Yes, that's the word. The facilities aren't brand new, but the mattress in the room is still comfortable, the towels are still soft, the toilet paper is still thick, and the hygiene standards are consistently good. The breakfast is a classic English breakfast, meeting the expected standards for a four-star hotel. The location is excellent, situated in a wealthy area of London with very convenient transportation; the subway station is right next door. And the price, especially during the off-season, offers fantastic value for money. Backed by the Millennium Hotels Group and Singaporean capital, it's surprisingly good – the hotel's own restaurant serves authentic wonton noodles and Hainanese chicken rice! Plus, guests get discount coupons! If I had to summarize in one sentence, I'd say this is a well-managed, old-fashioned but not outdated hotel.
AAnonymous UserPros:
1. Great location with convenient transportation, close to all major attractions.
2. Well-developed surrounding commercial facilities, making it easy to purchase daily necessities.
3. Rooms are cleaned daily and include a safe.
Cons:
1. The building is old and the space is cramped.
2. No air conditioning and poor ventilation. Not recommended during hot summer periods.
3. Street-facing rooms are noisy, with frequent sounds of cars and motorcycles revving their engines.
AAnil ShewakramA memorable hotel stay seamlessly blends comfort, exceptional service, and local charm. The experience begins with a warm, efficient welcome that immediately washes away travel fatigue. Inside the room, pristine cleanliness and thoughtful design create a personal sanctuary, featuring a plush bed and modern amenities. Delightful surprises, like a stunning window view or complimentary local treats, elevate the atmosphere. Exceptional hospitality shines through attentive staff who anticipate needs without intruding. Dining experiences, from a vibrant breakfast buffet to artisan coffee, celebrate regional flavours. Ultimately, a perfect stay transforms a simple lodging choice into a relaxing, unforgettable highlight of the journey.
GGuest UserEven though it's far from central London, it's about a 15-minute walk to the tube station, and there's a bus stop right outside with frequent services. The hotel is basic, but for the price, it's excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again. Breakfast is an extra £5.99, and it's absolutely worth it compared to prices in the area. The room was small but functional, with a new bathroom. The only minor issue was that when we arrived at Britannia Inn, they directed us to another hotel (Park Hotel) from the same group, about 500m away.
