"Hotel is little far from city center but near to the airport. The hotel dosnt have air conditioning. No soap, no shampoo and towels dirty. In 28 temperature without air condition very hard to coop.
We were couple and booked double bed but given 2 single beds."

"Clean and tidy, bathroom nice although the toilet seat was new it was loose. Easily remedied. Receptionist nice and polite. Bed comfortable. Pictures of local station about fifteen minutes walk. Plenty of room in car park if driving and is conveniently located between Manchester and Stockport."

"Positives; close to didsbury and all travel links. Good to use the facilities in the morning such as the pool and spa area.
Negatives; was ridiculously expensive for a 10m2 room with no breakfast 😳. Bed was barely a queen. I paid £140 for one night.
Staff were pleasant enough and everything was clean and fresh."

"The room is much larger than the travelodge and has a bathtub. There is no air conditioning but there is a small fan. The location is not too good, there is a certain distance from the surrounding convenience store restaurants, but there are self-service vending machines and restaurants inside the hotel, but they are expensive. Overall evaluation 3 and a half stars or four stars"

"The names on the attached picture were very pleasant during our stay at the Travelodge Stockport.
We traveled from London for a family anniversary Saturday evening.
When we arrived back at the hotel on Sunday morning on 2nd August we were greeted by two individuals a male and a female staff member.
We asked for pizza but they didn't have any pizza sauce they offered us the menu and we ordered some snacks items with a salad.
Everything was very tasty especially the salad 😋
My husband and I would just like to thank these two individuals as their customer service was on point thank you so much guys.

"I stayed at the Village Hotel Manchester Cheadle from the 20th to the 21st and accidentally left my Oral-B electric toothbrush and La Mer face wash on the bed. These are high-value items, and I immediately called the hotel on Sunday morning, fully expecting them to be professional and help me retrieve my belongings. Instead, I was met with complete indifference and disregard.
Despite their company policy stating that lost items should be returned if found, I was simply told that nothing had been discovered in the room. I am 100% certain I left them on the bed, but instead of investigating further, the staff dismissed my concerns and didn’t even bother to follow up. As a paying customer, I expected a level of care and responsibility, but I received none.
The worst part is that when I asked for an update, they merely shrugged it off, stating that “if they could find it, they would have by now,” despite less than 24 hours having passed since my stay. This lack of effort, urgency, and empathy from the hotel is shocking and unacceptable. It feels as though they couldn’t be bothered to take my situation seriously or value me as a guest. I will not be returning, and I urge others to avoid this hotel if you expect any kind of respect or attention to detail regarding your belongings."

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located next to manchester picadilly train station. I travelled from London to manchester by train so it is super convenient for me to stay here. There are many supermarkets and cafe around such as sainsbury local, mark & spencer, co op, greg and cafe nero.
The staff is very helpful and attentive. The room is modern. I request for 4 single beds and my request is well accommodated. The room is fully equipped with kitchen utensil. They are very clean and useful for preparing breakfast for my kids. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The room is well maintained and air con works really well. Shower room is clean and not slippery. After checking out, the hotel staff allowed me to leave the luggage with them for a few hours.
Will be back here again next time I come to Manchester.

CClurIt's my absolute favourite hotel in Manchester, and stayed here many times.
Check-in is always professional, and they are very accommodating ( we got there at 10 am), so we could leave our bags safely.
I normally book the two double-bed rooms, but because I was sharing with a friend, I thought the twin room would be fine. I was quite disappointed in the room tbh, very small and crammed into a corner, no views and round the back past the gym, so not in the big high-ceilinged part of the building id be used to and not much less in price than I usually pay. i wanted my friend to be blown away, and she wasnt ( with the room), but as always, the Kimpton redeemed itself with the 5-6 social hour and the beautiful bar for drinks. Overall a nice stay and they gave us late check out and allowed us to use the gym to change!

SshengnetI frequently visit Manchester Airport, and the front desk staff here are always very friendly. From Terminal 2, you take the elevator to the Departure level and follow the signs. Then, you head to the Station, take another elevator down to the first floor, and cross the road. It's a bit of a walk, but the distance is actually acceptable. The breakfast is decent, and the price is good. If you don't mind walking an extra five minutes, this is a great choice.

Overall, I would rate this hotel 7 out of 10. There were many things I really liked, but there are also a few areas that could be improved.
The first thing that impressed me was the lobby. It looks modern, stylish, and very welcoming. The seating area near the bar is beautiful, with comfortable sofas where you can relax or wait if you have a train to catch. The dining area is also lovely, with a modern and pleasant atmosphere.
The breakfast was one of the highlights of our stay. It was served as a buffet with a great variety of food. There were crispy potatoes, scrambled eggs and fried eggs, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, sausages, bacon, fresh vegetables, different juices, and a coffee machine with several coffee options. There were also cereals with yogurt, jams, chocolate pastries, Nutella, toast, sliced cheese, and a selection of cold meats. There was plenty of choice, and everything was very enjoyable.
The lift was also very impressive. It looked elegant, modern, and gave the hotel a luxurious feel.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The white bed linen looked fresh, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable, so we slept well. The bathroom was modern, spacious, and very practical. We also appreciated having tea, coffee, sugar, cream, and a kettle in the room.
However, there were a few things that could be improved. We travelled as a family of three, and there wasn't enough storage space for our clothes. A proper wardrobe with shelves would make a big difference. Only I could unpack my things, while my children had to keep theirs in their backpacks.
Another issue was that the window could not be opened. Without the air conditioning running, the room felt stuffy.
The kettle also didn't switch off automatically after boiling, so it should definitely be checked or replaced.
If I could suggest improvements, I would add a small coffee machine, such as a Dolce Gusto or similar, with enough coffee pods for the number of guests and the length of their stay. I think many people would really appreciate that.
It would also be helpful to have a separate entrance or easier access for wheelchair users, as the revolving entrance door may not be convenient for everyone. In addition, a secure place to store bicycles would be a great feature for guests travelling by bike.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The hotel has a beautiful design, excellent breakfast, comfortable beds, and a lovely atmosphere. With a few improvements, it could easily become an even better place to stay.

MMaomaomaomaomaoThis hotel is super convenient, just a two-minute walk from Deansgate station, and close to other city center attractions like the art gallery and library. It used to be Manchester's tallest building, and it still offers decent views. They provide free breakfast; while the variety isn't huge, both the taste and quality are good. The room isn't very big, but the view from the window is nice. I really liked the scent of the shower gel and lotion. My only minor complaint is that the shower stall is a bit small.

RRaymTOverall, I was quite satisfied with my stay. The location is excellent, especially for those travelling via Manchester Airport. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was larger than I had expected.
The only downside was the breakfast, which I felt was not worth paying extra for. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay and I would consider staying here again.

GGuest UserThis hotel is in a great loacation, around a 10 minute walk from Oxford Road Station and about 15 from the gig we came to see. The lady at reception was very polite and friendly which made us feel welcome even though two young goths looked a bit out of place seeing as this was obviously a hotel for business people/confrences. The room was amazing for the price and beautifully clean, there was an iron and ironing board, a desk fan and a hairdryer already in the room. The bathroom was quite spacious and had perfect lighting. Even my fussy partner said the bed was very comfortable. Would absolutely reccomend and will definitely be staying again if I'm back in Manchester.

The buffet breakfast is plentiful and the staff is friendly. The location is opposite to China Town with lots of nice restaurants for dinning. The only thing that could be improved is that room cleaning starts too early - at 9:00 am that I was woken up by the doorbell.

However, I wouldn't recommend booking a windowless room in the summer as it can get a bit stuffy, though they do provide a fan. The staff here are all very nice and polite, and the location is excellent with their own bar next door – perfect for watching the World Cup, which was a great bonus!

LlollypopRThe location is great, at the centre of Manchester and is very close to Piccadilly and Victoria stations. Lots of attractions within walking distance. The facilities are basic but do the job, the staff are very friendly. The downside is that the air conditioning in the room and the TV in the room are not working. Overall it's a good bargain.
