"The hostel was great. The beds were comfortable and had curtains for privacy and less light. It had a patio, which was pretty nice. The bathrooms were clean, and everything was very clean overall. The worst part was the location, but it's a bit of a walk, and if there isn't one, there's a bus that drops you off right at the door. Definitely worth it for the price/quality ratio."

"Aside from the location being fairly convenient, there really isn’t much else to praise. It’s a hotel with no facilities at all , not even a bottle of water is provided, so you’ll have to buy your own from the supermarket. As for toothbrushes, slippers, shower caps or kettle, those definitely aren’t included either. One thing worth mentioning, though, is the very friendly male staff at the front desk. When we asked where to find a supermarket or which restaurants were open at that hour, he helped enthusiastically and even marked everything clearly on the map."

"We were unfortunate to arrive Santiago de Compostela on the day Spain and Portugal suffered a country-wide power outage. However, the staff at Hotel Compostela made everything smooth of us. They facilitated our check even when their system is down and also assisted us with our luggage to our rooms. They were always attentive to our needs and always there to ensure we will be looked after. This is our second stay in this hotel and if we ever visit SCQ again, we will not hesitate to stay here again."

"Great location, close to everything. The window overlooks the courtyard. The electronic door lock is rather inconvenient; it doesn't work right away, so you have to hear the infamous ”door is open” sound from the neighboring rooms down the hall."

"Good hotel for couple of nights after the Camino walk. 5 to 10 mins walk to the Cathedral, 5 mins walk to the start of the Rua do Franco with lots of the Taberna, restaurants and cafes. Room is big, shower is a little dated and only 1 tiny lift."
