Hotels near Nasr City, Cairo

I stayed in Egypt for a week by myself, so I didn't book a five-star hotel. From a 100-pound Airbnb to a 700-pound hotel, only this one and the 700-pound hotel had working air conditioning/heating, and the room cleanliness was among the top two 😥. The downside is that this is more like renting out a private residence (the owner lives there too), and the apartment building and surrounding environment are quite poor, so you'll have to weigh the value for money yourself. For solo female travelers, I'd definitely recommend a hotel instead. Also, I have to complain about the menu pricing. The same bottle of water costs 6 EGP (less than 1 RMB) at the downstairs supermarket. It's typical of places that charge domestic hotel prices without providing domestic hotel service quality.

I was really moved to tears by this B&B. It is on the second floor. There are many Chinese shops nearby, including delicious food and supermarkets. The point! ! ! Service: The owner of this store really moved me to tears. My friend and I filled in the wrong address on the way to the airport and the driver raised the price. We originally planned that the 250 Egyptian pounds we had would be enough to take a taxi from District 7 to the airport, but the driver Unwilling to pester, language barrier + anxious to catch a flight, there is really no way to call the boss and ask him to help us communicate. The owner of this restaurant is really nice, very patient and gentle. He comforted us first and communicated with the driver several times. He called us two or three times and told us that if we really didn’t have money, we could ask the driver to go back and ask him to get it. We said he would pick it up later. Forward it to the boss via WeChat. The Chinese people in District 7 are really amazing. The owners of 1987 Malatang and Chaolong Supermarket are also very enthusiastic and warm. Living in District 7 is very convenient for food, accommodation, exchange money and travel. The uncles, aunts, and children in the boss's family are also very friendly and cute, and it feels like visiting a friend's house. It’s really the wisest decision to book District 7 on your return trip.

It's a five-minute walk from City Star, which is very convenient. The rooms are decent, and breakfast is okay, pretty much what you'd expect from a 3-star hotel in China. A heads-up: if two people are staying, make sure to book a double occupancy room and enter both names when reserving. Otherwise, the hotel will charge an extra $15 upon arrival. The location is quite good, close to the museum, airport, and a mall with dining options.

To save time and effort, hotels and travel agencies are mixing room types with one double bed and two single beds in the same listing (this can be requested when booking, but cannot be guaranteed). What if there are two men or two women, or not a couple? (Calling customer service repeatedly to emphasize requesting a room with two single beds only results in a mechanical response, lacking any human touch!) This only creates anxiety and negatively impacts the guest's mood before departure!

Lovely smart hotel. Several restaurants. Massage and gym. Staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel nice sbd roomy. Rooms spacious. Would stay there again but if you want to be in the town centre with many shops you need to stay closer to city centre as this, was, about 30 minutes from airport. It didn't matter because everything is a short cheap taxi fare away. Also it's next to a military camp where you can see and hear the soldiers marching from your balcony. If the bugle noise bothers, you at 6am then maybe not for you. Also, but not related to the hotel you'll be woken up at 4am by the, wailing from the mosques but you can't really get away from that can you. The hotel I understand is, owned by the military and so you'll often see soldiers stay there. They weren't any trouble. In fact it made you feel safe.

I was upgraded to a suite this time, which is definitely a plus. The hotel's main draw is its safety and expansive grounds; the gardens on a hillside are a rare green oasis in Cairo's often dusty environment. However, the hotel is undeniably old, and the facilities are quite dated. In the suite, one of the wall-mounted AC remote controls had its casing fall off. The breakfast selection was also limited. On the other hand, the hotel's decor, with its sculptures and murals, exudes a strong artistic vibe.

This hotel is actually underestimated because of its remote location, huge garden, outdoor swimming pool, warm service, and security measures in place. But some small details in the room are very poorly done, which will lead to a lot of bad reviews. For example, the bedside lamp needs a plug, which is too inconvenient. Breakfast is okay. Dinner is a buffet of £180. In fact, it is not much different from breakfast and can only be eaten for three or two days.

Everything about this hotel was top-notch, from the facilities to the service and food! The best part was being able to order takeout directly from the hotel menu right to our room. I was traveling by car and accidentally left my headlights on overnight, so the battery died in the morning. The staff, a kind lady and a gentleman, went above and beyond to help me out. They were so warm and attentive! Thank you again! It felt just like home.
