"We were going to a gig at the nearby Haus Ansee and this was the closest hotel. Wonderful receptionist on Sat and Sunday morning who was so helpful! We managed to check in early(not guaranteed)and the room was lovely and comfortable. The parking garage for our hire car worked well and we left it when we got the tram into town. Cannot fault the breakfast at all and just generally all the service we received. Nothing not to like except I miss a tea/coffee tray but maybe this isn’t something that happens in bc Grr we nan hotels. Don’t hesitate….value for money! Picture is of the tram…5-6 mins walk and approx 20 mins into centre of town every 15 minutes ish"

"Superior Double Room 1. Self Check-in Automat is very self-conscious, presents as birth year 2008 and cannot be corrected. All data already entered during the booking are not automatically available, but must be entered again. 2. Door closed without function, good half hour waiting for housemaster. There are left-hand telephone slips before reaching the hotline/noise number, I don't understand this under an emergency number. It would have been better to provide an alternative room immediately. 3. No invoice corresponding to the booking / the amount paid. (Invoice amount is 20% lower than the invoice amount. What is that for a booking / you could also use the word fraud and/or tax evasion. As a business traveler, this is a whole disaster Conclusion: as a business traveler, the hotel is completely inappropriate"

"The hotel is over the A9 from Bayern and then the A38 is well reached and is right at the outskirts of the city. The inventory is a little used to, everything was clean for it. I was very satisfied with the bed. TV and shower worked very well. And the price was good! Kaufland was on the back."

Just a tip: the parking works on a first-come, first-served basis, so it’s smart to arrive earlier if you want to secure a spot, as it cannot be guaranteed. One of the biggest advantages is definitely the location – right in the heart of Leipzig! We loved that we could easily explore the inner city on foot without worrying about transportation. The amenities were perfectly fine for a short city stay. The shower is placed a bit unusually in the middle of the room, but it didn’t bother us at all – in fact, it added a quirky touch. The mattress was comfortable enough, and the air conditioning was a real lifesaver during the hot Leipzig weather. All in all, our stay at Travel24 Hotel Leipzig was enjoyable, practical, and convenient. We would happily consider staying here again for another city trip!"

When I asked for towels, which I believed I had paid €4 for upon arrival, the receptionist (Felix) stated that I hadn't paid and that no one else was available to help me at that moment. The payment wasn't initially checked, and I was told that no towels would be provided without payment. After I returned with my receipt, the payment was still questioned, and it was suggested that the €4 might have been for something else, like another purchase. Before contacting a colleague, he made the remark, ”You're not showering tonight anyway,” even though I hadn't mentioned showering. I found this unnecessary and uncomfortable. Only after my insistence did he contact a colleague, who explained that the €4 was for the city tax and bed linen. Once this was clarified, the issue was immediately resolved. This situation could have been cleared up from the beginning if a colleague had been contacted right away. I also observed guests being loudly addressed in common areas when house rules were enforced, and activities were stopped without explanation. While the hostel itself was nice, the style of communication made my stay unpleasant. I would not stay here again and believe that clearer and more considerate communication from the staff would significantly improve the experience."
