Hotels near Munster, Freiburg im Breisgau

For the price, the hotel was really okay. There was a train station nearby, and the area was clean and quiet. There was also a Rewe supermarket around the corner that was open until 10 pm. Regarding the hotel itself: we had a rather unpleasant experience right at check-in. We arrived at 2:50 pm. Check-in was supposed to start at 3 pm. We were told to wait another 10 minutes before we could check in. Two minutes later, other guests arrived and were checked in immediately, but we weren't. Well, I've experienced better service at other hotels. The breakfast was good, but nothing special.

This hotel is conveniently located right next to Freiburg's transportation hub. The room was clean, and the two single mattresses meant that sleeping wasn't an issue for two people. They sent an email beforehand to confirm my arrival time, and since I was arriving around midnight, I contacted the front desk in advance to ensure someone would be there to check me in. It's not like back home, so I wanted to play it safe and double-check.

Both trip com and the Hilton website mentioned a balcony being included in the room we selected it wascthe main reason we chose tgis hotel over others. Unfortunately, on arrival, we were informed there are no balconies for any rooms in the hotel. The room itself was ok. No fridge in the accessible room. I'm uncertain why the difference? The location is walking distance to PT, the old town, restaurants and supermarkets.

The hotel is in a good location, with a parking lot underground, but the service is a bit average. My colleague told the front desk that he would check out one day in advance, and they agreed. But after checking out, the hotel called to claim the money.

We only stayed one night at this hotel, but it was wonderful! Being able to check into our room at 1 p.m. after a horrendous train journey with a 2.5-hour delay was fantastic! The rooms are small but extremely functional, and nothing is lacking! There's even a small refrigerator! The staff were all very friendly and accommodating! Our only slight criticism is that we might have liked a few more Black Forest specialties at the breakfast buffet! But that's really nitpicking; otherwise, everything was of excellent quality and plentiful! We'd love to come back!

The hotel front desk is not very friendly to yellow skin, the hotel facilities are average, the breakfast is expensive and simple, and it is not recommended to add breakfast. There are many restaurants and bars nearby, and it is convenient to eat and shop.

Хороший отель в замечательном городе. Отель расположен в двух минутах ходьбы от Старого города на тихой улочке (надо сказать, что в пределах Старого города транспорт кроме трамваев вообще не ездит), поэтому в отеле тихо. Есть лифт, терраса, тренажерный зал, прохладительные напитки в свободном доступе в лобби для гостей, бутылка воды в номере в качестве приветствия. Персонал нам, по крайней мере, попался приветливый, дали карту города и адреса ресторанов. Недостаток один, и он будет критичен в жаркое время года, - в номере нет кондиционера.

I liked the location, because it’s close to tram. Supermarket Kaufland is close to the hotel, around 5 minutes walking from hotel. Unfortunately I was sad because of no-cleaning policy, but since it’s apartments, it’s acceptable. On 2nd day there was a fire alarm in the whole hotel, so we has to go outside and wait. We couldn’t understand the reason of fire alarm. The room is small, maximum for 2 people. Utilities are provided. But you need to buy nespresso capsules for coffee machine. You can stay in this hotel until 5 days, in my opinion.

It's a clean and reliable brand, so I stay often. However, I was disappointed to see that the parking fee was expensive and that the car was leaving without paying the parking fee.

Unfortunately, the stay began with an irritating greeting at the reception. In the sense it was said that a holiday in Freiburg at this season is not worthwhile and a bad idea. This statement was not very invited and I therefore did not visit the reception again. The bedrooms are very small and are not adequately equipped for hostels. There was a particular problem with cleanness: There was clearly visible dust on almost all surfaces, so you didn't want to put anything on. The bed linen also showed a stick that strengthened the impression of lack of hygiene. The conductive water had a very unpleasant smell in the first seconds, which was also irritating. The sleeping comfort left over a lot of desires. The mattresses are very thin and are only on simple wooden plates instead of on a lattice rust. Releasing sleep is hardly possible under these conditions; back pain is almost pre-programmed. The prices for drinks are much above the usual level and are about twice as high as in the supermarket. The fact that a company has to work economically is understandable, but the amount of the surcharges does not seem appropriate anymore. Positively emphasise the central position and the optical design of the plant, which is attractive at first sight. Unfortunately, it is a sense that the focus has been strongly placed on the outer appearance, while fundamental aspects such as cleanliness and sleep quality have been neglected. In general, the price-performance ratio is not in my view correct. Unfortunately, an attractive optical approach cannot compensate for the above structural and hygienic deficiencies.
