Hotels near Gärtnerplatztheater, Munich

Staff is very accommodating. Quiet ,room shower drainage was poor.,hope they will improve it. Location is really great.

It takes 5min from the train station to the hotel. And there are shops nearby. It’s really convenient to go there. The overall service is quite good

The room was fair, the pillows were very very uncomfortable but it is reasonably priced so I guess its alright for a night or two. It is located perfectly between the center and the central station so both catching a bus for the airport and exploring the city is very convenient.

The hotel is nicely located near the main square thus it is a plus. On your way back to the hotel, you will be passing by nice international food selection: viet, Italian, Indian and even two Afghani restaurants. Amd if you miss lne of course, you got your kebab shop! The deal breaker for me, the welcoming deamor of the reception staff. A mixed bag, half were smiling and half is long faced. My advice if smiling and welcoming guests isnt for you, one must quit a customer facing job. And the lady that checked us in has refused to add my husband's holiday in loyalty number. Her reasoning, since you booked using a third party, one must not earn the point. Okay but actually another of her colleague is willing to add the details, just in case we spent something in the bar. Why is it points cant be earn... same concept like flights.. they aren't fussy abt you earning yoir miles. You are the same person at the end of the day. Amenities: breakfast is sumptuous and varied selection although similar everyday. However reception here are way friendlier and jolly. Their gym is properly equipped. I am also delighted with their housekeeping, they do their daily rounds and the lobby is freshen up to. Compared to a marriot hotel which uses a robot, we're lobby edges are so filty. So kudos to the housekeeping team! I am happy though that my husband doesnt have a company site in Germany, I will take checking in France/Poland/India and china any day. They are just way welcoming. The attitude just simply put me off, it shouldn't be a German thing as we ate in a German restaurant in the main square, they are nice over there.

Novotel Munchen City is a well maintained hotel. The room is clean & has everything we need. The sofa bed also already well prepared to a bed for our kids when we checked in. The staffs are very polite, nice, attentive & so helpful for us, especially when the rozenheimplatz train station nearby was under construction when we stayed, they help us to find the fastest & nearest way to our destinations that we need. The heater, AC & hot water works really well the room so make us really comfortable to stay. It is near to Aldi & HIT supermarket & also asia store. Besides, many good food and bakery near the hotel, in walking distance. Overall, a good and recommended hotel to stay in Munich

Short walk from the central station. Good location. The room first smelled cigarette. The reception kindly changed me to another room.  The room is big , and clean, with many amenities including a kettle, coffee maker. However, it is cold. We book two rooms, one room come with a radiator, my room doesn’t. I believe there is central heating, but the room is below 20 C. Reception is only up till 10pm. When realising, the staff has left.

The hotel's location is excellent, easily accessible from the main train station or city center via the 19 tram. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, always trying their best to meet guests' needs, such as providing a portable water heater when requested. The room itself was spacious and clean, with great amenities, and the bed was particularly comfortable. The lighting was bright, and the touch-screen control system was very convenient to use. A nice touch was the complimentary mini-bar, which included a bottle of beer and various soft drinks. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and a consistent hot water supply, making for a pleasant experience. But the real highlight was the breakfast. The spread was incredibly diverse, offering a wide range of hot and cold dishes to suit every taste. Overall, my stay was very satisfying. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it.

It is estimated that this hotel is the former station, located in the very characteristic old town of Munich. Going out, there are both large museums, large and small rivers, and very local living environment. It is very convenient to go anywhere. The hotel design took a lot of effort, and I personally feel that it is worth trying this non-standard room design. Cleanliness is up to standard. It is because this historical building does not allow air conditioning. Munich in July is still quite hot and ventilation is very important. The front desk waiter was very attentive and responsible, and the breakfast was very local.

Overall, everything is fine. The hotel isn't new, but the rooms are clean and cozy. The beds are comfortable, as is the rest of the furniture. There are outlets next to the bed and interesting nightlights that can be directed in any direction. The kitchen has an interesting design, including a folding faucet. It's compact and functional. The ability to leave luggage is also useful.

The location of the hotel is very good. It is about 1.8 kilometers walk to Marienplatz, which is very convenient for travel. There are many museums to visit nearby. The hotel room is small, but it is very cost-effective for a holiday stay. There is no kettle, drinking cup or coffee machine in the room. But the hotel lobby is very beautiful and the waiters are very friendly. The bar is particularly great. Because the room is small, there are many customers drinking, chatting and playing board games at the bar in the evening. Breakfast is 16.9 euros and very rich.
