GGuest UserThe hotel is close to the main train station of Kassel and William train station, close to the river, the appearance is simple, the interior is very design, very beautiful. The setting and layout of each room are slightly different.
There is a market by the river next to the hotel, you can stroll around. It is very convenient to go to William Heights or Green World, and there are trams and even some walking distances nearby.
The room was very well maintained, the whole looked new and very clean. The bathroom has windows and the ventilation system is not bad. The bathroom is very fast.
The restaurant downstairs is German and very delicate. Breakfast and dinner are very good, especially salad, fresh and delicious. The roast pork chops for dinner are generally mastered, and they are a little uncooked at the end. It is not recommended. The fried pork chops are very good, crisp and delicious, not greasy at all. The waiter is very handsome and patient, and will pay attention to timely inquiries, which is great.

The room was very clean, there was a kitchen, the tableware was complete and cleaned, and it was placed in the cabinet drawer under the stove. Oil and salt are available. The dishes are in the cabinet above, enough for three people. The sponge and detergent for washing dishes are on the edge of the pool. There is a microwave and a refrigerator. We bought vegetables, fruits and eggs and put them in the refrigerator. It was enough to eat for many days without purchasing them every day, and we saved money for eating out. The bathroom was bright and clean, Germany was dry, the towels in the bathroom were there, and they were dry at night. The hotel is located in the city center and the traffic at the door is very convenient. We took the bus to William Highland Park. Next to the hotel is the supermarket, it is very convenient to buy some daily necessities. This hotel is suitable for free travellers in Germany.

DDavidI was surprised. The price was very fair (62€ January 2025). You get a good room for that. My bathroom was very clean! That was very good. The location is very central in Kassel and there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the surrounding area.
Digital check-in if you want... I like that.

But this time when we stayed in the hotel, we encountered that the hotel had no hot water, which is unbearable for everyone. We negotiated with the front desk, and a bearded man received us very gentlemanly and calmly, accepting all our questions and complaints, but there was no clear solution or measures. The meaning is that we can only accept the reality of no hot water. This made us very angry. When we raised our voices, the gentleman signaled us not to speak loudly, okay, then we will speak calmly. We asked the manager to come forward to solve the problem, and the reply was that the manager was off work. When asked what to do if we couldn’t take a shower, the reply was that he didn’t know. At that moment, we wanted to get angry, but we held back. Later, a thin bearded man came over. He listened to our confession. When we proposed that at least he should help us contact a hotel with hot water so that everyone could take a shower and come back, he agreed.
The subsequent handling should be praised for the thin bearded man. He contacted another hotel and arranged six taxis. All the group members took taxis to the hotel to take a shower, and then took taxis back. It was spectacular.
In this incident, we also have to praise the Ctrip platform customer service. They have been tracking the handling of the incident, kept contacting us, and finally asked the hotel to arrange two free meals for the team. This made everyone see the positive attitude of the platform. It deserves praise for this.
