When we checked in, the young lady at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful. She asked if we had a car and gave us a detailed overview of their services, even providing a comprehensive leaflet. Our room was also spotless, just as you'd expect from a chain hotel. While there are many Huazhi hotels in the area, the quality of this particular one is truly exceptional. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changsha. Absolutely no complaints!

Facilities: No smart devices at all.
Be careful with the elevators. There are 6 available, but once I got stuck on the 29th floor. The doors wouldn't open. I was terrified the elevator would suddenly drop. Luckily, I stayed calm, pressed all the floor buttons, and it miraculously opened on the 30th floor. There were 4-5 elderly people with me, and they were all petrified. Thankfully, nothing bad happened.
Hygiene: In the morning, the butler messaged me asking if I wanted the bed linens changed, and I agreed. After a day out, I returned to find that no towels had been replenished, and the bug mark I'd made on the pillow the night before was still there, meaning the pillowcase hadn't been changed. I reported it, and the butler said they'd send someone immediately to deliver towels and change the pillowcase. A gentleman came to bring the pillowcase but forgot the towels… He was about to leave, so I stopped him and asked him to put on the new pillowcase and take the old one. He kept muttering under his breath, saying there was no need to change it, but he eventually did and then left.
I want to ask, if the hotel offered to change the bed linens, why not change everything? Do they only do half a job? Or do they think customers are being fussy? Forgetting to replenish towels is understandable, and when I reported the issue, the butler was responsive, and the cleaning gentleman arrived quickly. However, he forgot the towels twice. I had specifically said all towels were missing, not a single one. He went back and forth twice to get all of them, and then he mumbled about the pillowcase.
Environment: The room didn't match the photos on the platform. I booked a 30-35 square meter room, but I've stayed in countless hotels and can tell the size – this was at most 25 square meters, no more. The hotel even claimed to have upgraded my room for free, which I don't believe but didn't bother to argue about.
The room is quite old, and the walls have visible patches, showing they've been repaired several times.
The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the pedestrian street.
Service: The butler and front desk service were both very good, no issues at all. They replied to messages quickly and were very enthusiastic.

Generally, alll the washrooms including in both the lounges and the guests' rooms are very dirty and smell like urine. The lounges are provided for smoking people only, and it seems like the microwave hasn't got cleaned for a long time. The stains and food particles spread up everywhere inside and outside the microwave. Also, The property is very dusty and dirty stains everywhere almost all over the surfaces in the lounges. Maintaining of the hygiene of this property is the priority thing needs to be done and paid full attention.

My stay here was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the shopping district and metro station, making it incredibly easy to explore and get around. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, was warm and professional. She handled check-in efficiently and even shared some great local food recommendations. She also kindly helped me with my luggage all the way to my room. The room itself was a pleasant surprise; I was greeted by a fresh scent upon entering. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the bedding was so soft it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The soundproofing was amazing, ensuring a peaceful and restful night's sleep. The bathroom had a great wet-dry separation, plenty of hot water, and even the toiletries smelled lovely. Plus, getting fresh fruit and a sweet nightcap soup every day really showed their attention to detail and thoughtfulness. This place offers incredible value for money. I've already recommended it to my friends and will definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit!

My family came to visit and booked a hotel near the pedestrian street. There was a small courtyard right at the entrance, where the owner happened to be having lunch. The children were so adorable. The owner was very helpful with our luggage. The room was quite large, unlike your average hotel, and the decor was very atmospheric. The bathroom and room were very clean. Very nice!

The sanitation of the family room on the 25th floor is very average. The bathroom floor leaks, the lights are dim, the clothes in the closet are covered with dust, and there is a problem with the air conditioning (cooling is not effective). There is no normal air conditioning in Changsha in the summer, so you can imagine how you can sleep at night.
I had an argument with the front desk on the first night because I thought it would be too much trouble to take my parents out for the night. I communicated smoothly with the hotel housekeeper and asked to change the room the next day and got the approval. I just got up early the next morning and contacted the housekeeper again, and said that the housekeeper was changed. The housekeeper last night just came and didn't understand. He was determined not to change rooms and had to send a master to repair the air conditioner. The whole process started from my feedback on the first night to the second day when he made his own decision and led the master to knock on our door (without notifying the master in advance at all). When did we come? When the chef came, we were still having breakfast and had not washed up. It was very sudden.) No staff took the initiative to say sorry for the inconvenience caused to us. And he even offered to give me 20 yuan back so that I would give up the negative review.
In the end, I proposed the need to communicate with the hotel manager in person. Here I have to admire the manager's handling of the matter. He went to the door in person and apologized to the two front desk housekeepers who had communicated with me, and also raised concerns about the water leakage and air conditioning problems on the first night. Provide corresponding compensation. attitude decides everything. So I don't give a negative review here because of the manager's good attitude. I also hope that the hotel can improve and give other customers a good impression of Changsha.
After that, there were basically no problems when I moved to the 22nd floor the next day.

The service was excellent, and the room facilities were in great working order and felt very clean. For a hotel in the Wuyi Business District, it was surprisingly quiet. It's perfect for tourists, and they even give out small farewell gifts upon check-out. When I checked in, the staff were also helpful in recommending attractions and restaurants. A truly wonderful stay!

GGuest UserOverall, I'm really happy with this hotel!
**Location/Environment:** I specifically chose this location because it's a bit further from IFS, so it's nice and quiet here. You can enjoy breakfast on the 5th-floor terrace, which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding with the breeze. It's only a 4-5 minute walk to the subway, making it convenient to get to Orange Island and Wuyi Square. Getting a taxi to Changsha South is also very smooth.
**Service/Cleanliness:** The hotel staff are enthusiastic, and the room was very clean. I asked the front desk to clean the room on the second day, and when I came back in the evening, it was spotless! 😂 They even tidied up my child's stuffed animals!
**Breakfast:** For someone from Guangdong who doesn't eat spicy food, the breakfast selection was a bit limited, as most side dishes had a touch of spice. You can opt for noodles or wontons from the cooking station, or stick to eggs, corn, and pastries.
GGuest UserAt Yijian 6500: In Changsha, I found another definition of 'home.'
The moment I stepped into Yijian 6500, I knew my trip to Changsha would be different because of this hotel. It doesn't feel like a cold, impersonal hotel; it's more like an old friend I've known for years, who has already prepared everything, just waiting for my return.
From the moment I was greeted at the entrance, 'feeling at home' was no longer just an adjective. The house manager's gentle smile and warm greeting instantly melted away the fatigue of my journey. During check-in, a cup of perfectly warm tea was handed to me; that comforting warmth spread from my tongue to my heart. What surprised me even more was that the hotel thoughtfully upgraded my room! This unexpected gesture made any initial feeling of unfamiliarity completely disappear.
The house manager accompanied me throughout, like a dedicated personal butler, meticulously explaining every detail of the room. From how to use the smart devices to the carefully prepared welcome snacks, everything revealed the host's attentiveness. What truly charmed me was the exquisite canvas bag, which not only contained an eye mask and earplugs to help me sleep soundly but was also a gift I could take home! This small gesture was full of human touch. There was even a Rubik's cube personally made by the hotel in the room; after I thoughtfully solved it, I received a coupon for Tea's Express! This clever integration of fun and surprise into the service made me both play and drink, lifting my spirits.
At Yijian 6500, my taste buds were also exquisitely cared for. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks could all be delivered directly to my room. Whether it was a meal to energize me in the morning, delicate refreshments during a lazy afternoon, or a comforting supper late at night, I could enjoy delicious food without leaving my room. This feeling of being so meticulously looked after was truly wonderful.
The house manager also thoughtfully provided us with 'Changsha Food Guide,' 'Changsha Attraction Recommendations,' and 'Trendy Street Play Guide' via WeChat. These guides weren't generic information found online; they were filled with local insider tips and practical advice, allowing us to experience the charm of Changsha more deeply. Coupled with free Wi-Fi and professional travel photography services, the entire stay experience was simply perfect.
Leaving Yijian 6500, my heart was filled with reluctance. Afterward, I checked into the W Hotel, intending to experience the standardized service of an international chain, but the stark contrast felt like night and day. While the W Hotel certainly boasts modernity and luxury, the genuine, warm service at Yijian 6500 is something no standardized process can replicate. In that moment, my only thought was: I really want to go back.
Yijian 6500, you are more than just a hotel; you allowed me to find another definition of 'home' in Changsha. Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable journey.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very clean overall, and the room was tidied up perfectly. The bedding was neat and odorless, and there were no water stains or smudges in the bathroom, which made me feel very comfortable staying there. All the facilities worked properly; the air conditioning and hot water were both excellent, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The front desk staff were super nice, and both check-in and check-out were very quick. The environment was quiet and not noisy, offering great value for money. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.
KKamuyadeThe hotel's overall environment is quite good. There's a cinema on the fifth floor of the mall next door, and a Cha Yan Yue Se tea shop on the first floor, along with various dining options. The hotel rooms are relatively spacious and tidy, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, which is nice. They offer a complimentary laundry service, which is a thoughtful touch. The hotel also has its own parking lot available for use.
Lliuwenyu1968Pretty good! The lobby is impressive, and the room is spacious and bright. The bed is comfortable, and the shower has great water pressure and heats up quickly. They provide plenty of bottled water, and the tea set is nice. You can also get eye masks at the front desk. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.
JJames04The location of this hotel and the room quality for the price are amazing! It’s located right next to a metro station which is only one stop away from the central square, and from there you can take another metro line to orange island or to the railway stations - so this is very handy. The hotel is near lots of places to eat/shop, and the view from the hotel is nice. The room was nicely furnished, had automated controls for all of the electronics/curtains, and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was not the most expansive, but was tasty. All of these positive attributes were unfortunately somewhat let down by the service, which although incredibly friendly, was certainly unorganised. To begin with, we arrived at 2:30pm for a 2pm check in time, so that we could go out to explore. Unfortunately, we were told the room was not ready, and that we were to come back in an hour, when it would be ready. Given that we were only staying for one night, this significantly altered our plans - but they did at least allow us to leave our bags. However, upon returning around 4pm, we were told that our room was still not ready. Despite the staff being very friendly, not much of an apology/compensation was given. Therefore, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes in the lobby for the room to be ready. Once we were told to head up, we arrived to a wet floor. Whilst this didn’t take too much longer to dry, it was another inconvenience - and all of these piled up to essentially waste our planned afternoon in Changsha. Unfortunately, there were further issues later that day. We had some laundry to clean+dry, and so decided to make use of the hotel facilities. We were quite happy to load the washing machines ourselves, but after doing so, we were told that they would handle the drying for us - great! However, if we had known how long this process would have taken, we would never have accepted. We initially thought we could come back to collect our clothes 2 hours later - a standard time for 30min wash + drying (dryers were all free at the time) - so we returned at about 7pm. However, it was clear that they had forgotten about our (or perhaps other customer’s) washing, as they ran to the machines to move things around, and told us it would be another 2 hours to dry, and then we would be able to collect our clothes afterwards from reception. As a result, we decided to head out for the evening, a planning to return later to collect. At about 12pm, we returned from the evening, obviously expecting the drying to be finished (as we were told we could collect it at 9pm). However, after the staff once again ran to the laundry room (clearly having forgotten about them), we were told they were still not ready and that there was a queue. We completely understand that given the size of the hotel, we would potentially have to wait longer - but the fact we were initially told that it would be ready at 9pm is what made this frustrating, and that it seemed very unorganised. As we were leaving the next morning, we had to stay up late to guarantee the drying would be ready, and so it was only past 1am in the morning we received them back (despite the laundry room being empty at 5pm). Overall, whilst the room was nice and the location was great, these issues significantly impacted our stay (especially due to just being there for one night).
BBaochaoxiedianbujialaStayed here during the May Day holiday. Aside from the price, it was a pretty good stay. I had a windowless room located between two hallways. The front desk staff was very welcoming and provided detailed information. The room was clean, and the bathroom had solid walls, not those glass ones, which I really liked. My only question was about the bathroom exhaust fan; there was no sound when I turned on the switch, so I'm not sure if it wasn't working or if it's just a silent model.
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, just a short walk to Pozi Street with tons of restaurants and shops nearby, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. The hotel offers free luggage storage, which is a lifesaver after check-out – you don't have to drag your bags around while sightseeing, making it completely stress-free. The rooms are clean and tidy, offering a comfortable stay. This place offers great value for money for travelers and is definitely worth recommending.
