Hotels near Shanshui Beach, Penghu

This was a last-minute trip for my daughter and me. We saw that Shanshan Travel had 5-star customer reviews online, so we booked it right away. The guesthouse owner picked us up from the airport, and the timing was perfect, so we didn't have to wait too long. We loved the guesthouse as soon as we arrived. We loved seeing three cats in the living room (a bonus!), and the decor and room layout made us feel relaxed (we could sleep soundly) since it was our first time staying there. It's only about a 10-minute drive to the city center, and you can easily rent a scooter from the guesthouse. We will definitely stay at this guesthouse again if we come to Penghu again.

Really nice hotel with fabulous amenities. We went in the winter so unfortunately couldn’t use the swimming pool. The kids enjoyed the game room. The gym is in the mall attached to the hotel but you can access it with the room key from the hotel without going to the mall. I love the eco friendly policy and having reusable bottles instead of plastic bottled water. There are machines to fill up the bottle on each floor. The breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed it very much. We also had a good dinner at the restaurant on the second floor. The room is spacious and the design of the bathroom is functional and comfortable. In terms of ovation, it’s not horribly far away from the old street and lots of local food. We walked 20-30 minutes to get to sightseeing places a bit further but there are busses as well if you don’t want to walk. It’s a perfect place for family with young children. I’d highly recommend it!

trip. com's map display was wrong, I thought it was in the city, but when I looked up the address, it was Sansui-ri. It takes 15-20 minutes from Sanshui to the city by motorbike, but it's a quiet place, about 5 minutes by motorbike to the tourist attraction beach, and it's far from the city, but overall it was good. You can have free refills on breakfast drinks. Friendly staff, free parking, recommended for family trips

Just had the most amazing stay at Daytkme BNB and I can’t rave about it enough! The rooms were spotless and beautifully kept, just a short walk from the beach—perfect for morning strolls or sunset views. Breakfast was absolutely delicious every day, with a great variety and homemade touches that made it extra special. The host, Wang Li Ting, was exceptional—warm, welcoming, and truly went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The neighborhood was peaceful and friendly, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind. It honestly felt more like staying with family than at a BNB. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

The bus stop is just nearby, so you can take the bus from and to the airport. The room is spacious enough. The hotel is nearby shops, the boat docking, and cafes. Its quite a strategic location to enjoy your Penghu visit.

This hotel is not super good. It is very clean and hygienic. It is nice. It also has a bathtub. You can take a bath and feel very relaxed. It is also close to the station. It is very convenient to get in and out. The service staff at the counter are very good. The transportation is good and delicious. , it’s just one or two steps away but there is no free breakfast. Fortunately, there is McDonald’s and the whole family. I will stay in this hotel again next time I come. It is also very close to the County Government Square. I went to attend the New Year’s Eve party last night. , it’s really a worthwhile trip,

The location is convenient, and this stay included a free airport pickup, which was great. The driver was very friendly. There's a bus terminal right downstairs, so even if you don't rent a car, you can take the airport shuttle to Penghu Airport, which is super convenient.

The location of the MF Hotel Penghu was convenient as it was close to the Magong ferry pier as well as the main streets of Magong. However, the quality of the room was not great. The room smelled mildewy and one of the beds in our room was not changed from the previous occupants. It reeked of sweat and one of the pillows smelled like someone had vomited on it; we had to put it in the closet due to the smell. The staff were very helpful and when we informed them of the bedding that needed replacing, they were very quick to replace it. Based on my own personal experience, I would not consider staying here in the future.

The place was immaculate. For the most part, the experience was terrific. What follows are minor issues. There was a slight issue with the water heater, which resolved itself after a short time. Fortunately, the weather was warm, so it wasn't a serious issue. The breakfast was simple, basically a large sandwich, rather than the continental-style breakfasts that people might expect. The rooms were accessed by stairs, so I doubt they are wheelchair accessible. Wifi was excellent, although one had to find the password at the front desk, or on the router itself (just an oversight in me not asking for it, I'm sure). Finding this B&B among all the other B&Bs in the area is tricky; the cab driver had to call the owner to find it. Google Maps is very useful, especially with all the unnamed streets in the area. The facility is located next to National Penghu University of Science and Technology.

The cleanliness of the room is okay. The location is a bit far from the bus stop that can go to Mahgong Main Bus Station. You have to walk to YangMing station around 8-10mins. For those who carry heavy and big luggage, be prepared as the airport shuttle bus will only stop at International Plaza (Fupeng Sheraton Hotel) and you have to carry those luggages to walk around 1km to reach here. This homestay adopts self check in policy. You have to contact the owner to retrieve the info of your room. The phone number display on Trip.com cannot be reached and you have to search on Google to get their phone number. It’s better for you to contact them via Line as they don’t have reception counter. They will never respond on Trip.com so don’t waste your time to contact them via Trip.com.
