One of the best hostels I've stayed in my whole 23 years travelling around the world, absolutely outstanding. Spotless, spacious, beautifully designed and decorated, full of anything you could possibly need and more, lovely quiet street, seconds away from the bus stop and minutes walk to Lukang centre. Easy to find, smooth self check-in, very quick and responsive host. The beds, furniture, kitchen, everything is such outstanding quality and so pretty to look at. The rules are respected so the communal living is very pleasant, it's silent at night and social during the day. I regret not having stayed longer.

Remodeled from an old building at great location. Surprisingly new and clean rooms and provided small towels, waters, travl accessories for guests. Walking distance to major points in old town. Great place!

My second stay at this hotel. Its proximity to Lukang Old Street is excellent, and in the evenings, the First Market is easily accessible for local food. The lobby offers complimentary, unlimited cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate, with ice cream also available in the afternoons. Rooms are spacious and include welcome drinks and snacks. Sound insulation was adequate. The bed was a touch soft for my liking, but still comfortable. While family facilities are limited beyond the gym, most guests are likely here for the Old Street, so it's not a major drawback. Breakfast the following day was a delightful surprise, featuring local specialties like famous meat buns, steamed cake, and vermicelli.

A huge thank you to Yile! ♥️ When I was strolling through Lukang Old Street, I realized I had lost my phone and asked the staff to check if I had left it in my room. The staff were incredibly helpful. Then, when checking out, I forgot my souvenirs in the fridge... For us rather carefree folks, Yile patiently contacted a courier service to have them sent home for us. Thank you so much to the staff at Yile! 🥰 Thank you so much! Despite the little hiccups, our trip wasn't a disappointment at all! 🥰 Their service was absolutely fantastic!! Highly recommended! 👍🏻

Parking is an open carpark with plentiful lots. Reception is helpful and friendly. My favorite is that the lobby provides free 24hrs munchies & drinks that includes various flavorful ice cream, winter melon juice, selections of coffee, tea & biscuits. Free laundry service with laundry powder provided. Windows in the room can be opened. Vegetarian option for breakfast and the pan fried radish cakes were yummy. Little touches that made our stay enjoyable.

I usually stay at this hotel and have always had good experiences, but this time was very disappointing. I stayed for 2 nights, and on the second night, housekeeping did not clean the hair left in the bathroom. They did tidy up other parts of the room, but completely overlooked the hair in the bathroom. I expected better consistency, especially since I’m a regular guest. Very disappointing

the hotel is well located between behind the Starbucks and seven eleven, the room is well renewed but hope the hotel will renew the towel as well, otherwise the price they charged was a little bit over priced even during Chinese new year holiday. the front desk was very friendly and helpful to arrange the room closer to elevator as my mom is not walking well, and they also let us to use the super clean handicap bathroom after we came back from temple even we did the check out already as the public toilet was in upstairs not convenient for my mom, so really appreciate the good service, so we will come back again if we are coming to visit the Mazu temple again.

We were able to upgrade to a room with a window at the last minute, which felt like a huge improvement. This is a charming guesthouse, decorated with many nostalgic items reminiscent of my 40s and 50s, including movie posters, vinyl records, children's toys, and everyday items. It's very inviting. The guesthouse is not far from Lukang Old Street, within walking distance. ”Taipei is not my home~” ”My hometown has no neon lights~” These songs inspired me to revisit Lukang. With the ”Pink Supercar” taking off, the streets were even more lively. Lukang has many delicious snacks that I highly recommend, such as rice cakes, noodles, and meat soup—clean and tasty.

The hotel's location is super convenient, and the facilities are all there. We also got a great deal on the room rate during the Dragon Boat Festival long weekend. Plus, they offer a wide variety of breakfast options. Coincidentally, during our two-day stay, there was a DIY craft class. The instructor was Teacher Hong, a patchwork artist who was there for the Lu Ban Banquet. She was incredibly patient. I had no idea the Lu Ban Banquet has been going on for 30 years! It was a real treat to be able to see crafts from various master artisans and learn about their apprentices carrying on the traditions. We learned so much!

The plus point is the location, just opposite the train station, short walk within 5min. Opposite got the meat ball food which can redeem using the voucher from the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful I arrived slightly earlier then the actual check in time but she allow me to check in earlier. Place a bit old however this hotel got a lot of history thus all is old. If you are fussy go find newer hotel. For the price I found worth it for a 2 day stay, if you stay lounger you need to be aware there no cleaning services in between. This place not as Taipei, most shop close early by 9pm most of the street become very quiet. It come with 2 breakfast voucher daily so making the deal even sweeter like 200NT worth.
