We are visitors from the UK who spent a 3 night stay at the the Fancy Hotel. We chose it due to the hotel’s proximity to Hunan Museum - less than 10 minutes walk away. The location is great - Martyr’s Park is just alongside the museum. It is a lovely place to walk and there is plenty to do once you are inside. There is also a metro station and very large shopping mall with numerous eateries - including a Burger King and KFC within easy walking distance. The hotel is clean and modern. Decor is good. Our room was a little small, but comfortable and had everything we could need for a short stay - including charging cables and electric curtains! There was an extensive range of Chinese options for breakfast. Western options were more limited and included fruit, toast, butter, jam, boiled eggs, coffee, croissants and a surprising array of small cakes. Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. They did not speak English - but patience, a smile and Google translate helped us to communicate. The hotel has a roof garden and small gym There are food delivery options, which we didn’t have time to investigate. Sadly there did not appear to be anywhere to buy a coffee on site. We liked the hotel and thought it great value for money. We would definitely return on a future trip to Changsha.

Facilities: Perfect
Hygiene: clean
Service: Better
Focus on the key dimensions: around the five cores of location transportation, sanitation and cleanliness, facilities functions, service attitude and cost performance, to avoid general discussion.
• Detail figurative: replace empty adjectives with specific scenes, such as ”5 minutes walk to Metro Line 2” ”shower hot water in 3 seconds”, not simply ”good location” ”full facilities” .
• Objective attitude: praise highlights memory points (such as ”the front desk actively provides women's emergency supplies”), bad reviews give constructive suggestions (such as ”inadequate air conditioning and cooling, recommended overhaul”), do not exaggerate or hide .

After a long search, I chose this hotel. I was very satisfied with my stay. The hotel is very nice overall, with a great sense of design and Chinese style. I was very tired from going out and the front desk lady served tea, and the front desk guy checked me in very quickly. I give a thumbs up to Xiao Ding and Haoyu. The room was very clean, the whole room voice control was very convenient, the bedding was very comfortable, and there are many restaurants around the hotel, and the food is quite good. It only takes a few minutes to walk to the Provincial Museum, which saves a lot of time. It is also very convenient to go to May Day and Orange Island, not far away. The room was spacious and fully equipped, and it was very quiet at night. It's a newly opened hotel, only a month old, so the aromatherapy was excellent, and the service was exceptional. The front desk manager, seeing we were checking in with a child, gave us a national flag and wristbands, and even gave us three complimentary breakfasts. The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff, including the lady cooking, were very polite. They greeted us warmly and with smiles as we entered and left. Overall, it was a great experience in Changsha. The restaurants nearby were also excellent, offering typical, affordable, and authentic Changsha cuisine. Highly recommended! Getting around is very convenient; it's just a few minutes from Orange Isle, Wuyi Square, and the IFC mall by subway – extremely close!

This is a great location to stay when visiting beautiful Changsha. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. There is plenty of food and the subway station is just steps away. Very close to shopping areas and the main pedestrian street. Easily accessible. The only not so appealing part of the hotel is that the towels it provides are disposable and not real. Everything else is very good for the price. Spacious clean room with great views, clean washroom in a nice area! Will probably stay again!

Environment: Not far from the subway, about a 5-minute walk.
Facilities: The room facilities are good, the bedding and mattress are comfortable, and the soundproofing is also decent. The 8th floor has a gym and laundry room, both open 24 hours.
Hygiene: The room was clean, and I had a very good stay.
Service: The front desk service was excellent. When I needed to borrow an umbrella, all the communal ones were taken, so the front desk attendant lent me her own. This time, I also received a free room upgrade and complimentary breakfast, which was quite good.

The service was excellent, and the room facilities were in great working order and felt very clean. For a hotel in the Wuyi Business District, it was surprisingly quiet. It's perfect for tourists, and they even give out small farewell gifts upon check-out. When I checked in, the staff were also helpful in recommending attractions and restaurants. A truly wonderful stay!

Bed was comfy however we had issues with checking in and air conditioning. We initially dropped our bags off at midday - and were told that our room was not ready yet as check in isn’t until 2pm - which was completely fair enough.
However we came back at 2pm and were told that the room was still not clean - and we had to wait in the (very small) hotel lobby for 20 minutes while they sorted it out.
When we finally got into our room it was very hot and we found that there was no remote for the air conditioning- we asked at reception and the lady told us that they would find us a remote for it later. When we come back in the evening there is still no remote in the room and we are told to use an app on our phone to control the aircon - which doesn’t work.
The room only had a window that opened into the hallway so we were unable to get any fresh air to cool the room down and thus it was very warm. The window being into the hallway also meant that we could hear absolutely everything outside which made it difficult to sleep.
The lady at the front desk was friendly however she seemed overworked and unable to cater to all the guests - perhaps the hotel is understaffed?
Bed was comfy enough but we wouldn’t stay here again.
Room was also missing a kettle and a remote for the tv - and we also booked a room with a washer/ dryer which was not present in the room.

GGuest UserOverall, I'm really happy with this hotel!
**Location/Environment:** I specifically chose this location because it's a bit further from IFS, so it's nice and quiet here. You can enjoy breakfast on the 5th-floor terrace, which is perfect for relaxing and unwinding with the breeze. It's only a 4-5 minute walk to the subway, making it convenient to get to Orange Island and Wuyi Square. Getting a taxi to Changsha South is also very smooth.
**Service/Cleanliness:** The hotel staff are enthusiastic, and the room was very clean. I asked the front desk to clean the room on the second day, and when I came back in the evening, it was spotless! 😂 They even tidied up my child's stuffed animals!
**Breakfast:** For someone from Guangdong who doesn't eat spicy food, the breakfast selection was a bit limited, as most side dishes had a touch of spice. You can opt for noodles or wontons from the cooking station, or stick to eggs, corn, and pastries.
GGuest UserAt Yijian 6500: In Changsha, I found another definition of 'home.'
The moment I stepped into Yijian 6500, I knew my trip to Changsha would be different because of this hotel. It doesn't feel like a cold, impersonal hotel; it's more like an old friend I've known for years, who has already prepared everything, just waiting for my return.
From the moment I was greeted at the entrance, 'feeling at home' was no longer just an adjective. The house manager's gentle smile and warm greeting instantly melted away the fatigue of my journey. During check-in, a cup of perfectly warm tea was handed to me; that comforting warmth spread from my tongue to my heart. What surprised me even more was that the hotel thoughtfully upgraded my room! This unexpected gesture made any initial feeling of unfamiliarity completely disappear.
The house manager accompanied me throughout, like a dedicated personal butler, meticulously explaining every detail of the room. From how to use the smart devices to the carefully prepared welcome snacks, everything revealed the host's attentiveness. What truly charmed me was the exquisite canvas bag, which not only contained an eye mask and earplugs to help me sleep soundly but was also a gift I could take home! This small gesture was full of human touch. There was even a Rubik's cube personally made by the hotel in the room; after I thoughtfully solved it, I received a coupon for Tea's Express! This clever integration of fun and surprise into the service made me both play and drink, lifting my spirits.
At Yijian 6500, my taste buds were also exquisitely cared for. Complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks could all be delivered directly to my room. Whether it was a meal to energize me in the morning, delicate refreshments during a lazy afternoon, or a comforting supper late at night, I could enjoy delicious food without leaving my room. This feeling of being so meticulously looked after was truly wonderful.
The house manager also thoughtfully provided us with 'Changsha Food Guide,' 'Changsha Attraction Recommendations,' and 'Trendy Street Play Guide' via WeChat. These guides weren't generic information found online; they were filled with local insider tips and practical advice, allowing us to experience the charm of Changsha more deeply. Coupled with free Wi-Fi and professional travel photography services, the entire stay experience was simply perfect.
Leaving Yijian 6500, my heart was filled with reluctance. Afterward, I checked into the W Hotel, intending to experience the standardized service of an international chain, but the stark contrast felt like night and day. While the W Hotel certainly boasts modernity and luxury, the genuine, warm service at Yijian 6500 is something no standardized process can replicate. In that moment, my only thought was: I really want to go back.
Yijian 6500, you are more than just a hotel; you allowed me to find another definition of 'home' in Changsha. Thank you for giving me such an unforgettable journey.
JJiunijiaowangduoyuaThe room facilities are complete, and the location is excellent with very convenient transportation. There's a subway station right downstairs, making it super easy to get to all the attractions. Downstairs is also Huangxing Square Pedestrian Street, so there's an abundance of food and entertainment options nearby. The hotel environment is great, and the decor is quite unique. The room hygiene is also very good. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Changsha.
GGuest UserThe hotel was very clean overall, and the room was tidied up perfectly. The bedding was neat and odorless, and there were no water stains or smudges in the bathroom, which made me feel very comfortable staying there. All the facilities worked properly; the air conditioning and hot water were both excellent, and the bed was comfortable to sleep in. The front desk staff were super nice, and both check-in and check-out were very quick. The environment was quiet and not noisy, offering great value for money. I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.
Lliuwenyu1968Pretty good! The lobby is impressive, and the room is spacious and bright. The bed is comfortable, and the shower has great water pressure and heats up quickly. They provide plenty of bottled water, and the tea set is nice. You can also get eye masks at the front desk. I didn't have breakfast, so I can't comment on that.
JJames04The location of this hotel and the room quality for the price are amazing! It’s located right next to a metro station which is only one stop away from the central square, and from there you can take another metro line to orange island or to the railway stations - so this is very handy. The hotel is near lots of places to eat/shop, and the view from the hotel is nice. The room was nicely furnished, had automated controls for all of the electronics/curtains, and had a comfortable bed. The breakfast was not the most expansive, but was tasty. All of these positive attributes were unfortunately somewhat let down by the service, which although incredibly friendly, was certainly unorganised. To begin with, we arrived at 2:30pm for a 2pm check in time, so that we could go out to explore. Unfortunately, we were told the room was not ready, and that we were to come back in an hour, when it would be ready. Given that we were only staying for one night, this significantly altered our plans - but they did at least allow us to leave our bags. However, upon returning around 4pm, we were told that our room was still not ready. Despite the staff being very friendly, not much of an apology/compensation was given. Therefore, we had to wait an additional 20 minutes in the lobby for the room to be ready. Once we were told to head up, we arrived to a wet floor. Whilst this didn’t take too much longer to dry, it was another inconvenience - and all of these piled up to essentially waste our planned afternoon in Changsha. Unfortunately, there were further issues later that day. We had some laundry to clean+dry, and so decided to make use of the hotel facilities. We were quite happy to load the washing machines ourselves, but after doing so, we were told that they would handle the drying for us - great! However, if we had known how long this process would have taken, we would never have accepted. We initially thought we could come back to collect our clothes 2 hours later - a standard time for 30min wash + drying (dryers were all free at the time) - so we returned at about 7pm. However, it was clear that they had forgotten about our (or perhaps other customer’s) washing, as they ran to the machines to move things around, and told us it would be another 2 hours to dry, and then we would be able to collect our clothes afterwards from reception. As a result, we decided to head out for the evening, a planning to return later to collect. At about 12pm, we returned from the evening, obviously expecting the drying to be finished (as we were told we could collect it at 9pm). However, after the staff once again ran to the laundry room (clearly having forgotten about them), we were told they were still not ready and that there was a queue. We completely understand that given the size of the hotel, we would potentially have to wait longer - but the fact we were initially told that it would be ready at 9pm is what made this frustrating, and that it seemed very unorganised. As we were leaving the next morning, we had to stay up late to guarantee the drying would be ready, and so it was only past 1am in the morning we received them back (despite the laundry room being empty at 5pm). Overall, whilst the room was nice and the location was great, these issues significantly impacted our stay (especially due to just being there for one night).
BBaochaoxiedianbujialaStayed here during the May Day holiday. Aside from the price, it was a pretty good stay. I had a windowless room located between two hallways. The front desk staff was very welcoming and provided detailed information. The room was clean, and the bathroom had solid walls, not those glass ones, which I really liked. My only question was about the bathroom exhaust fan; there was no sound when I turned on the switch, so I'm not sure if it wasn't working or if it's just a silent model.
GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, just a short walk to Pozi Street with tons of restaurants and shops nearby, making it super convenient for exploring and dining. The hotel offers free luggage storage, which is a lifesaver after check-out – you don't have to drag your bags around while sightseeing, making it completely stress-free. The rooms are clean and tidy, offering a comfortable stay. This place offers great value for money for travelers and is definitely worth recommending.

GGuest UserThe owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room rates are very reasonable, and the place is clean. They even offer airport drop-off service, which is a huge convenience! On my previous visit, my flight was significantly delayed, and I couldn't confirm my exact arrival time. Yet, the owner kindly waited up for me until 3 AM!
