Hotels near Martyr's Park, Changsha

It was a bit late (5-8 o'clock) to make an online reservation to visit the Hunan Museum. I didn't want to go back and forth, so I searched for hotels near the Hunan Museum and found the Magnolia Hotel. After a series of comparisons in price, location, reviews, etc., I finally chose it. I booked a Jingya King Room online for 180+. Two breakfasts were included. Take Metro Line 6 to Martyrs Park South. Walk a few dozen meters from Exit 1b. The lobby on the first floor is very cool. There are seats to rest. Tea is provided next to it. Check in at the front desk. The lady received me warmly. The room is arranged on the 9th floor. The room is quite large. There is no peculiar smell. There is a 1.8-meter bed. The TV is the kind of cable TV. You can watch TV programs. The on-demand program always fails and can't be viewed. It seems that screen projection is not possible! The air conditioning has a good cooling effect. It just takes a process [applause]. WiFi does not require a password and can be logged in directly. The speed is quite fast. The shower head has fast water flow and the water temperature is suitable. The floor dries quickly. The toilet is a bit old [dog head]. Breakfast is on the underground first floor. The dining time is 5-10 o'clock. There are not many varieties. It is no problem to eat full. You can order takeout and the robot will deliver it to the door of the room. Hunan Provincial Museum and Martyrs Park are all on the same line. It takes about ten minutes to walk. Take the subway to Kaifu Temple and Orange Island for a few stops. Overall, it is still very convenient.

Here's my review: 1. Even before arrival, hotel staff reached out to confirm my needs and preferences. 2. The hotel is super close to the Provincial Museum, Wuyi Square, and Chaocong Street. There are also plenty of great food options nearby, like Heda Ma, Liu Changhe Handmade Noodles, Tianbao Brothers, and Yan Changsha. Plus, all kinds of popular food and drink, including various branches of Sexy Tea, can be quickly delivered to the hotel by robot. 3. I initially thought that an older, established local hotel might feel a bit dated, but the staff's proactive service was exceptional. When the weather warmed up, they promptly offered to change to a lighter duvet. Every evening, they'd send messages with the time and type of complimentary late-night congee available. They were also very responsive to any special requests I had. 4. The breakfast rice noodles in the restaurant were especially delicious, and the stir-fried pork was absolutely outstanding. The staff member cooking the noodles was incredibly patient, warmly greeting every customer. They also had tofu pudding, stinky tofu, sugar oil粑粑 (a local fried pastry), and more! On this trip to Changsha, I made a special visit to Orange Isle to see Chairman Mao's statue, and specifically chose this Vienna Hotel because it's so close to the scenic area. We always stay at Vienna hotels when we travel, and I've always had a great impression of the brand. This particular hotel, however, was exceptionally good! The entire building is dedicated to the hotel, which feels very legitimate and secure. The breakfast selection was extensive with plenty of buffet options; I especially loved the authentic Changsha rice noodles here. The location is right on the main road in the city center, making it very close to Taiping Street and Wuyi Square. We traveled by RV, and the hotel even offered free parking, which was a thoughtful touch. There's also a public laundry room on the fifth floor, which made washing clothes during our trip very convenient. Overall, the value for money is outstanding, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Changsha!

The hotel's location is quite good; it's very close to Line 6 and Line 2 is also within walking distance. It's generally quiet at night. The noodles at breakfast were delicious, and they offered chrysanthemum tea upon arrival, which was a nice touch. However, both afternoon tea and late-night snacks had to be consumed on the first floor. When I returned to the hotel at night, they wouldn't deliver them to the room, so I ended up not using any of the vouchers I had received. 😂

It's perfect whether you're here for business or leisure. From the moment I walked in, I noticed how clean and tidy everything was. The public areas are spacious and bright, with a minimalist yet elegant design, and no unpleasant odors – it instantly put me at ease. The room was meticulously cleaned. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a great night's sleep. All facilities like the air conditioning, hot water, and internet worked perfectly. The lighting was appropriate, and the toiletries were comprehensive and of good quality. The bathroom had a convenient wet/dry separation. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and efficient with check-in and check-out. They patiently answered my questions and provided thoughtful, attentive service. The hotel itself was quiet and peaceful, with excellent soundproofing, so my rest was completely undisturbed. The cleanliness was top-notch, and it was clear that great care is taken with maintenance, showing very high standards. It offers excellent value for money; the environment, facilities, and service all justify the price. My entire stay was pleasant and seamless, without any inconveniences. I'll definitely prioritize this hotel next time I'm in the area, and I genuinely recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy place to stay.

The price/performance ratio is high, the front desk service is very enthusiastic, the room facilities and equipment are new and very clean, and you can borrow items for free. I am very satisfied. The elevator is also a dedicated elevator for the hotel, which is relatively safe! ! !

This was my first stay at an Atour on such a high floor. Chi Xiao at the front desk had an excellent attitude and upgraded my room, which I was very satisfied with. On the downside, the hotel only has two dedicated elevators, which sometimes led to longer waiting times. Also, compared to other Atour properties, the breakfast selection could be enhanced.
