The hotel's location is excellent. It's a short walk to Luoyi Old Town and also within strolling distance of Shizi Street. Luoyang has shared e-bikes everywhere, so finding food and attractions is usually within a ten-minute ride. The front desk staff are incredibly welcoming. I mentioned something to them before checking in, and I completely forgot about it later, but they reminded me, which saved me a lot of trouble. I really appreciate that! The room was great too. I booked a triple room and asked if there were partitions between the beds, in case we wanted some privacy. When I checked in, the owner said they had specially installed a curtain with a track beforehand, which was incredibly accommodating – truly going above and beyond to meet our needs. Thanks to the owner as well! Overall, I'm very satisfied with everything. If I come back to Luoyang, I'll definitely stay here again.

The location is excellent, right near the North Gate of Luoyi Ancient City. The hotel environment is great overall, and it's very clean. It's quiet at night, so you can get a good rest. Plus, the subway station is just a few hundred meters away, which is super convenient for getting around to other places.

Open the window and gaze upon a thousand years of history, with the Luo River flowing right outside. This B&B is nestled inside Lijing Gate, a traditional courtyard of green bricks and grey tiles, offering an authentic Luoyang experience. The room was clean and elegant. The owner's hand-drawn tourist map was thoughtful and incredibly useful, and they even gifted us peony cakes as a souvenir. After exploring Shizi Street at night, I returned to the terrace to enjoy a cup of tea, watching the ancient city lights twinkle. It felt as if I was living in history itself. The location is superb, convenient for visiting Longmen Grottoes and White Horse Temple. It's not a cold hotel, but a warm home. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

I had a very satisfying stay here, and it was excellent value for money. The location is superb; Gulou (Drum Tower) is right across the street, and it's incredibly convenient for shopping and visiting the ancient city. The subway station is also close by. I booked a room with a mahjong/card room because I wanted a king-sized bed, and since it was too hot to go out during the day, we spent our time indoors – it even saved us the cost of renting a mahjong room elsewhere. The butler service was also very attentive and responsive to all our requests. The entire guesthouse offers a quiet escape in a bustling area, and it's quite spacious. The decor perfectly embodies a traditional Chinese aesthetic.

I rarely leave reviews, but this time I just had to because the hotel was so exceptional, and I didn't want the hard work of all the staff to go unnoticed. I stayed for four days, and the room was incredibly comfortable, spacious, clean, and beautiful. But beyond the room's comfort, the service truly provided an overwhelming amount of emotional value. 👍 The complimentary pick-up and drop-off service was fantastic. The driver was formally dressed, neat, and proactively helped us with all our luggage. The car was also spotless, and everyone received a wet towel and a bottle of mineral water upon entering. The attention to detail in their service was outstanding. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and diligent. Every day, they offered a free selection of snacks, beverages, ice cream, and tea bags. Whenever we had questions, they answered with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, and even gave us various small gifts, which was a delightful surprise. The housekeeping service was absolutely unparalleled; it made you feel like royalty (like even the emperor would bow to you! 😂). All the housekeeping ladies not only fulfilled every request but also proactively anticipated our needs. For example, when they saw my glasses on the table, a housekeeping attendant proactively brought an eyeglass case. When they noticed we had a lot of clothes, a lady would bring a drying rack. And when they saw our cosmetics scattered on the table, another lady brought two small cosmetic bags to help us organize and carry them more conveniently. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options, with a comprehensive selection of Chinese and Western, hot and cold dishes. The restaurant staff would also proactively and randomly ask guests daily, 'How was your rest last night? Do you have any suggestions for improvement?' If they saw a guest carrying too many plates, they would offer to help carry them back to the table. For dishes that took a few minutes to prepare, they would ask for the table number and deliver them. If you didn't want to go downstairs for breakfast, they could even deliver it to your room. The parking attendant was also amazing, helping with parking, moving cars, and safekeeping keys. Whenever you parked, the attendant was always there, truly providing constant assistance. 😂 Across every service, there were so many instances of such proactive service that it truly deserves the highest praise.

The B&B is in hotel style, very satisfactory, and the location is very good, very close to Yingtianmen! Makeup is so convenient! The room is also very clean, breaking the impression of B&B haha There is no elevator, but I see that there are old houses around that have been converted into B&Bs, and none of them have elevators, so I can accept that there is no elevator, after all, it is very close to the scenic spot You can tell from the details of the homestay that the owner has carefully arranged it. The service is also very good. When we checked out, he saw us taking our luggage downstairs and ran up to help us get it. Mineral water is free of charge. The disposables are also of high quality. The mattress is very comfortable. I am very satisfied overall and highly recommended.

BEST STAY EVER! Long review, but a meaningful one. Hotel & Facilities: I stayed here for 4 nights. The hotel is beautiful, peaceful, and well maintained. The location is excellent, only about a 5-minute walk from the main entrance of the Longmen Grottoes, plus all the shopping and food area. There is also a nearby bridge where I enjoyed beautiful views of the grottoes without entering the site! The receptionist Mengmeng upgraded my room to a suite free of charge, which made my stay even more memorable, since it was a special occasion! She was super helpful and kind through my stay. Housekeeping was outstanding. My room was cleaned every day and maintained to a high standard. The breakfast buffet had a variety of dishes and enough choices to keep breakfast interesting throughout my stay, I ate like a queen, besides the restaurant area is super peaceful. As a Spanish girl who does not speak good Chinese, I relied on translation apps, and the staff were always patient, welcoming, and eager to help. Exceptional Staff Support After I Sprained My Ankle: During my visit to the Longmen Grottoes, I unfortunately sprained my ankle. The level of care I received from the hotel staff was exceptional and was one of the main reasons I decided to extend my stay by an extra night. The receptionist Dan Dan and the driver Zhang Hong went above and beyond to help me the night I sprained my ankle. Ma Dan Dan was my main contact point. She regularly checked on me, provided ice for my ankle and even helped me do my laundry! She came up and down to my room several times to bring me everything I needed. I am very grateful for her time and care. The driver Changwang took me to the nearest health centre and he was super patient and talkative, which was nice. Special mention to one staff member called Wang Bing, she was working during the breakfast the day after I sprained my ankle and she was incredibly helpful, lovely and attentive, she even gave me a medicine for mosquito bites! Everyone treated me with kindness and professionalism. I believe mentioning their names is relevant, due to my particular situation, they deserve the recognition. As a solo woman travelling and getting injured far away from home, their support meant a great deal to me. Overall: Whether you are a domestic or international traveller, I highly recommend this hotel. The combination of beautiful facilities, an excellent location, outstanding cleanliness and nd caring staff made this one of the most memorable experiences I have had in my years of travelling. Traveling to Luoyang, this Lijingmen B&B made me experience the whole process! 📍 The location is excellent, just in the core of the old city, close to the Lijingmen City Building, within 10 minutes walk to Luoqi Ancient City and Yingtianmen, surrounded by authentic snacks, beef soup, water mats to eat casually. The environment of the homestay is elegant, the Chinese courtyard style, the small courtyard is super beautiful, the room is clean and odorless, the musk smells very good, the whole house is intelligent, and the details are attentive. The boss and the clerk are super caring, communicate in advance, take the initiative to help carry luggage, store items, and avoid the pit guide, as kind as friends. The price is full, the experience is far more than expected, and I will stay here next time I come to Luoyang!

This was my first trip to Henan. I arrived by train at 1 AM, and the hotel was right across the street from the station. I checked out the next day and forgot my charger at the hotel.
