It's an immersive experience of staying in a famous Jiangnan garden. The unbeatable location in the heart of Old East Gate makes getting around incredibly easy. The rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the service is thoughtful and meticulous. Truly the pinnacle of historic Qin淮-style accommodation."

"I did my research before choosing this accommodation in Nanjing, and I was absolutely blown away after checking in – it definitely deserves a five-star rating! The hotel is antique and charming, perfectly recreating the traditional courtyard style of old Nanjing. A long viewing corridor connects all the beautiful spots within the courtyard. Lush ivy covers the walls, and trumpet vines are in vibrant bloom, with orange-red flowers cascading from the trellises, full of life. Every corner is picture-perfect. As the 'blue hour' arrived, the hotel's night view came to life. Warm-toned lights illuminated the entire corridor, and light filtered through the layers of leaves and flowers, casting dappled shadows on the stone ground. Looking back, the ancient city wall stood quietly, the ambiance was just incredible. Strolling along the corridor at night, you're fully immersed in the unique romance of a city that was once the capital for ten dynasties 🌙. Right next door is the Laomendong pedestrian street, where you can browse countless cultural and creative handicrafts and authentic Jinling snacks. You can even buy the soft and sweet 'Ten Dynasty Pastries' right there in the district. After exploring, there's no need to rush back a long distance; just a few steps bring you back to the tranquil courtyard, away from the hustle and bustle outside. It perfectly balances travel convenience with a relaxed vacation vibe. A big part of the happiness from my entire Nanjing trip came from this place, and I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Nanjing ✨."

"This is our third time booking this hotel! Every time we visit Nanjing, this is our top choice, especially since our child absolutely loves it. We always have a very comfortable stay; the environment is great and very clean. The owner clearly has good taste – the hotel is beautiful, and the bedding is so comfortable to sleep on. The front desk staff are all wonderful and very welcoming. This time, they even gave us a free room upgrade! The two cleaning ladies were also fantastic and always happy to help. If we get the chance to come back, we'll definitely stay here again. It's so convenient for getting around, and Old Gate East is right outside the door."

"The hotel is located within the Confucius Temple scenic area. Please note that there are traffic restrictions from 2 PM to 10 PM, making it difficult for taxis to enter and exit. Downstairs, there's a Freshippo (Hema Xiansheng), KFC, Miniso, and a couple of restaurants, which is quite convenient. The rooms facing the road can be a bit noisy, but it usually quiets down after 11 PM. During my stay, one of the elevators was out of service, leading to some crowding when going up and down. The room itself is very spacious with a well-designed wet and dry separation, and the staff are dedicated and responsible."
