Hotels near Beitun District, Taichung

This was my first stay at this hotel, and I was impressed with the interior design and facilities. The lighting was bright, and it was wonderfully quiet at night, perfect for sleeping (the soundproofing is good). Parking in the basement involved an elevator, and there was staff on hand to assist, which I found to be perfectly fine. While the breakfast selection wasn't vast, there was definitely enough to fill you up. The location is incredibly convenient, right next to the MRT station. Overall, it was a great choice; I definitely made the right decision picking this hotel.

Excellent stay in Zhong Ke hotel. Room is clean, spacious with comfortable bed and pillow. I had my parcel delivered much earlier than expected. Luckily the hotel receptionist help me to keep until my arrival. Really appreciate that!

The location is right next to the Xintiandi restaurant, which makes it very convenient to eat. The breakfast is also very considerate and delivered to the garage. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the Hanxi Night Market. The air-conditioning in the room is very cold. The only drawback is that the hot water in the bathtub is a little small and flows a little slowly.

This hotel is close to the city hall and Wenhua Senior High School, and very near Feng Chia University, making it suitable for those traveling by car. The room was very clean, and I appreciate them upgrading us to a family-sized room. The cleaning lady was also very nice. Downstairs, there's coffee, juice, and biscuits. It's great to grab a coffee before heading out in the morning! However, it seems like the washing machine on the left on the 9th floor has an issue. I set it for a standard 40-minute wash, but when I checked an hour later, it hadn't spun dry at all – all my clothes were just sitting in water! I had to spend another 20 NTD just for the spin cycle... What a waste of 20 NTD!

The common areas are spacious and comfortable, and having a coffee machine available at all times is fantastic. They even offer free instant noodles after 10 PM, and you can eat as much as you want until 11 PM! Plus, there are movies to watch. Perfect! 😍

The staff were friendly and enthusiastic; they even provided information about nearby parking when the hotel's lot was full. Although the hotel is a bit older, it's clean and well-maintained. My only minor complaint is that there was an extra charge for requesting an additional pillow.😅

Location is convenient for transportation, about TW $180 from DT. A Lot of eatery around the area. Hote Facilities are clean and nicely decorated. Service is provided promptly with professional standard. Continental breakfast is also very convenient for self serve. Coffee makers and so are up to date. Although I was told that the breakfast is simply as continental, it can be a bit more in both quality and quantiy. That would be my humble comment.

I seriously think these photos need an update... I've always known that CHECK INN operates by taking over old hotels, and I don't think that's bad at all, in fact, I think it's a smart strategy. BUT, if they take over a place and aren't willing to properly renovate or maintain it, aren't they just damaging their own brand? Honestly, last year I stayed at another 'CHECK INN' branch not far from here (I forget the exact name). The layout was a bit odd, but it was cleaner! Let's start with the pros here: The front desk staff were 100% polite and had excellent attitudes, highly recommend! The fact that the floors aren't carpeted is also a plus! Now for the cons: The facilities are genuinely weak... and they seem unwilling to properly fix or even maintain them! The lobby was a bit dim. When I got off the elevator, seeing the 'warning' sticker on the carpet was just ridiculous. Once I entered the room, I felt that 2800 for a Saturday night was already too expensive... The bathroom tiles were appalling, so dirty and damaged, and they haven't been repaired? And the showerhead is even more outrageous, they still haven't replaced it?? The duvet was torn, making me wonder if it's even changed when the room is cleaned... There's a visible gap along the side of the door, and no security chain either... If your neighbor takes a shower late (past 11 PM), you'll be woken up by the rumbling sound of the hot water (I thought something serious was happening)! And the bed was hard and bouncy... The creaking sound of the pillows and the leather headboard against the wall was quite loud... When my husband turned over in the middle of the night, I thought it was an earthquake! I honestly felt so grimy that I didn't even bother showering! Sorry...

We made a last-minute decision for a family trip, but since there were no family rooms available, we were told we'd have to split into two double rooms. We requested them to be close together, and thankfully, they arranged for us to have adjoining rooms. We went for breakfast a bit late, so some dishes were already gone, but the staff thoughtfully cooked five fried eggs for our whole family on the spot and even asked if we'd had Yakult, bringing some over right away. The service was incredibly attentive. This will definitely be our top choice for our next visit!

Our family of five checked into a four-person room plus one extra person on February 15th for the Spring Festival. The extra mattress wasn't prepared before our check-in; we only received it after we inquired about pillows and other amenities. The front desk staff then temporarily provided an extra mattress (bedsheet), pillows, a comforter, and paper cups. The showerhead hose in the bathroom sprayed water along with the showerhead itself; we mentioned this to the front desk staff upon check-out. The breakfast was good, and there was parking available.
