It was great to be able to store our bags before check-in. Bus stops, coffee shops, groceries & many other stores are easy to access. The view from the room was awesome - English Bay from one window and the mountains from the other."

"Easily accessible by public transport. The price-performance ratio is alright, as it's more of a motel than a hotel. The entire place is a bit dated: old air conditioning, a bathtub with a shower rather than a walk-in shower, etc. – everything works, but it feels like time has stood still. The rooms are clean, very spacious, functional, and carpeted (a bit grubby). Breakfast is barely adequate and not exactly a highlight. The staff don't pay much attention to whether there's enough space at the tables and don't seem to care about vouchers, meaning anyone can essentially eat breakfast there. At check-in, you have to provide your credit card again, even though everything was paid for in advance. Otherwise, the service is very friendly and uncomplicated."

"Great location, very convenient for getting around. The room was clean, cozy, and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the sea view from the high-floor balcony. Just a heads-up for drivers: the hotel parking is on the street behind the hotel, not directly in front on the main street. When navigating, after you pass the hotel's main entrance, take the first right at the traffic light, then another immediate right at the next intersection, and you'll see the parking entrance. After parking, head to the front desk to register your license plate and check in."

"The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time. The service was excellent. I had originally booked for several consecutive nights but had to check out early due to unforeseen circumstances. The hotel kindly agreed to process a refund, and I'm very grateful for their understanding."

"The staff were very helpful and welcoming upon arrival, always willing to assist with anything we needed. However, when we first entered our room, there was a very strong smell of paint. We were told it had just been painted, but the odor was so intense that staying there would likely have caused discomfort, so we requested a room change. They accommodated our request, although the only available option was a smaller unit. Another point worth noting is that Trip.com indicates the hotel accepts a cash deposit, but at check-in we were informed that only card payments were allowed, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the room had some constant noises throughout the day and night — I couldn’t identify the source, and they continued even with the air conditioning turned off. There is also a vending machine right at the hotel entrance, but it was not working properly. I inserted money and did not receive the products; however, the front desk staff promptly assisted me and helped resolve the situation, which I appreciated. Aside from these issues, the hotel offers good value for the price, and the location is excellent, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions."

"Hotel a bit outdated, soundproofing not very good. But apart from that, everything went well, location is in a safe and convenient place for public transpo. Cozy room. Only wish 2 things were available: slippers (bec the floor becomes very cold) and drinking water."

"Clean, comfortable, and modern designed rooms, easy access to hundreds of restaurants and English Bay. I especially appreciated the newly installed self-serve laundromat on the second floor for hotel guests. Staff were very polite and helpful. Will come back again."

"The hotel service was great, and the coffee was delicious. We stayed for 6 nights in total. I had a cup of coffee every day, but on the last day, it was just watery, I wonder why? We arrived early on check-in day, and the front desk staff, wanting us to have a comfortable stay, upgraded our room since we were staying for 5 nights. However, the toilet in the bathroom had a slight leak. We didn't switch rooms because it wasn't a major issue, and we were out all day anyway. The hotel's location is excellent; you can actually walk to most places, or take the bus or subway. There are many diverse food options nearby, including Asian and American cuisine. At night, the area downstairs is very lively with many nightclubs. The hotel room provided an umbrella, which is essential as Vancouver is a rainy city, and a safe. The bathroom and room size were both quite decent. But I wonder if booking through Trip.com means the rooms and beds would be smaller?"

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Willo (which was renamed from YWCA Hotel after we booked). Nice they offered free coffee and tea in the morning. We arrived early in the morning and were able to leave our luggage in the storage room, before we went discovering the city. It seems like they have just renovated and also exchanged the bath amenities to new ones while we were there. We booked the room with the shared bathroom, which also connects to another room. You can lock the bathroom from both sides, so this worked well for us. We were looking for the best price-quality ratio of a hotel that is centrally located and it really is. We arrived using the airport train and walked to the hotel. The Vancouver Stadium is just across the street so very convenient for the people looking for accommodation for the World Cup. In fact we could also see the stadium from our hotel room. Highly recommend this place!"
