"The staff were very helpful and welcoming upon arrival, always willing to assist with anything we needed. However, when we first entered our room, there was a very strong smell of paint. We were told it had just been painted, but the odor was so intense that staying there would likely have caused discomfort, so we requested a room change. They accommodated our request, although the only available option was a smaller unit. Another point worth noting is that Trip.com indicates the hotel accepts a cash deposit, but at check-in we were informed that only card payments were allowed, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the room had some constant noises throughout the day and night — I couldn’t identify the source, and they continued even with the air conditioning turned off. There is also a vending machine right at the hotel entrance, but it was not working properly. I inserted money and did not receive the products; however, the front desk staff promptly assisted me and helped resolve the situation, which I appreciated. Aside from these issues, the hotel offers good value for the price, and the location is excellent, making it easy to get around and access nearby attractions."

"The location is pretty good, about a 10-minute walk to the SkyTrain. The service is excellent, and the rooms are nice. I noticed that they intentionally spoke slower when addressing non-English speaking guests, which was a thoughtful touch. There's no electric kettle, but they'll bring you one if you ask. However, there's no microwave."

"The hotel is located in a very nice location, we got a great view from our room. We were not very happy with the service though, as we arrived at the hotel, we weren’t greeted even though there were 3 people working at the valet nobody directed us where to park. I made eye contact with them but they just continued on chatting. Parking is also quite expensive ($45/ night for self-parking)."

"Great location, just a 9-minute walk from Canada Place where the cruise ships dock. The north-facing rooms offer a peek of the ocean, while other directions have city views. The hotel is right above Burrard Station on the Expo Line, making it super convenient to get anywhere, especially the airport, with no traffic! Absolutely unbeatable!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel decor is a bit dated, but it's quite comfortable. The bedding felt like Egyptian cotton, silky and smooth! The gym, outdoor sauna, and outdoor heated pool are on the 4th floor, all with city views. It was a good experience!👍🏻"

"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Willo (which was renamed from YWCA Hotel after we booked). Nice they offered free coffee and tea in the morning. We arrived early in the morning and were able to leave our luggage in the storage room, before we went discovering the city. It seems like they have just renovated and also exchanged the bath amenities to new ones while we were there. We booked the room with the shared bathroom, which also connects to another room. You can lock the bathroom from both sides, so this worked well for us. We were looking for the best price-quality ratio of a hotel that is centrally located and it really is. We arrived using the airport train and walked to the hotel. The Vancouver Stadium is just across the street so very convenient for the people looking for accommodation for the World Cup. In fact we could also see the stadium from our hotel room. Highly recommend this place!"

"Easily accessible by public transport. The price-performance ratio is alright, as it's more of a motel than a hotel. The entire place is a bit dated: old air conditioning, a bathtub with a shower rather than a walk-in shower, etc. – everything works, but it feels like time has stood still. The rooms are clean, very spacious, functional, and carpeted (a bit grubby). Breakfast is barely adequate and not exactly a highlight. The staff don't pay much attention to whether there's enough space at the tables and don't seem to care about vouchers, meaning anyone can essentially eat breakfast there. At check-in, you have to provide your credit card again, even though everything was paid for in advance. Otherwise, the service is very friendly and uncomplicated."

"The hotel is next to Stanley Park and English bay p. The location is excellent. Going out to see the sea. There is a paid parking space. The price is reasonable and convenient. Although it is a century-old store, there is no modern feeling, but the service is good, the room is spacious and the staff is warm and thoughtful. The restaurant on the first floor is not available on weekends. The seat is a small regret"

"Stayed at the former Trump Tower in Vancouver. The location is super convenient for getting around, very close to downtown, and not a far walk to Stanley Park either! During my stay, the breakfast area was under renovation, so all meals were delivered via room service. The fully automated facilities in the room were fantastic. Overall, a really great experience!"

"The room was on a good floor and had a balcony facing the sea. The night view was beautiful. The sun shone directly on the bed. It was close to the pier and you could take the seabus to the opposite side in just a few minutes. It was very convenient and more affordable than the hotel opposite. It was also beautiful to walk around the North Vancouver beach. It was recommended by a relative in Vancouver. I didn't expect that Ctrip also had cooperation. It would be better if Ctrip's high-end hotels could get more discounts."
