"We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Willo (which was renamed from YWCA Hotel after we booked). Nice they offered free coffee and tea in the morning. We arrived early in the morning and were able to leave our luggage in the storage room, before we went discovering the city. It seems like they have just renovated and also exchanged the bath amenities to new ones while we were there. We booked the room with the shared bathroom, which also connects to another room. You can lock the bathroom from both sides, so this worked well for us. We were looking for the best price-quality ratio of a hotel that is centrally located and it really is. We arrived using the airport train and walked to the hotel. The Vancouver Stadium is just across the street so very convenient for the people looking for accommodation for the World Cup. In fact we could also see the stadium from our hotel room. Highly recommend this place!"

"The hotel appears to be short handed on housekeepers as our room was not refreshed despite us hanging a sign to refresh when we left the room in the morning. Also, one other couple who was traveling with us was only able to check into their room in the evening as it took the hotel longer than expected to clean up the room after the previous guests checked out. At times, request for amenities were not answered and we had to make a repeated call to the front desk. Front desk staff took a long time to answer calls as well. It appears they are also short handed in that department."

"The room was clean and tidy. Even though it was a shared room, the atmosphere was great, and my roommates were all very considerate. The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, happy to answer all sorts of questions and provide necessary assistance. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the bustling city."

"1. The location is super convenient! It's within walking distance to attractions like the Steam Clock and Chinatown, plus you can easily walk to Costco, T&T Supermarket, and the SkyTrain station. Taxis drop you right at the hotel entrance, and it's also very close to the Hertz downtown car rental location. 2. The suite has a double sofa bed, which was perfect for our family of four. The kitchen is well-equipped with basic facilities, so you can cook your own meals. The soundproofing in the room is excellent; it's very quiet. 3. The room rate included four complimentary breakfasts, which had a good variety and quality. Several floors in the hotel also provide drinking water, so you can fill your own bottles and save on buying water. 4. The staff are friendly and easy to communicate with. During our stay, we accidentally broke a bottle cap, and when we informed them, they said we didn't need to pay for it. 5. The hotel is also very close to the 2026 World Cup stadium, making it an excellent choice for tourists looking to explore the city center."

"The location was fantastic! It was super easy to get to the city center, so we had no trouble finding places to sightsee or eat. There were tons of restaurants and shops nearby, which made getting around during our stay incredibly convenient. On the other hand, there was a gap under our room door, and we could hear some noise from the hallway and the bathroom area. This was especially noticeable at night, so if you're looking for a really quiet stay, you might want to keep that in mind. Overall, the excellent location was a major plus, and I felt it offered decent value for money."

"Nice hotel, good location, parking was a little cheaper than usual for Vancouver. Room was a suite, large and comfortable. TV in the bedroom was very oddly angled in a way that you couldn’t easily watch it from the bed…. Peculiar …. Recommended."

"We chose this hotel for our Rocky Mountaineer trip because it offered complimentary shuttle service. The location is excellent, making everything easily accessible on foot, and there's even a Costco nearby. The room amenities were satisfactory, offering good value for money."

"We loved our stay at the Holiday Inn Broadway. On arrival at the hotel we found the staff at check-in so welcoming - thank you to Venezia and Myra. And further more each staff member we came in contact with was delightful from the housekeeping staff to the porters. We highly recommend a room on a high floor with balcony to take in the view. The hotel is a short stroll to the waterfront to catch a ferry to Granville Island. Congratulations to all the staff who made our stay so enjoyable!"

"The hotel service was great, and the coffee was delicious. We stayed for 6 nights in total. I had a cup of coffee every day, but on the last day, it was just watery, I wonder why? We arrived early on check-in day, and the front desk staff, wanting us to have a comfortable stay, upgraded our room since we were staying for 5 nights. However, the toilet in the bathroom had a slight leak. We didn't switch rooms because it wasn't a major issue, and we were out all day anyway. The hotel's location is excellent; you can actually walk to most places, or take the bus or subway. There are many diverse food options nearby, including Asian and American cuisine. At night, the area downstairs is very lively with many nightclubs. The hotel room provided an umbrella, which is essential as Vancouver is a rainy city, and a safe. The bathroom and room size were both quite decent. But I wonder if booking through Trip.com means the rooms and beds would be smaller?"

"Hotel a bit outdated, soundproofing not very good. But apart from that, everything went well, location is in a safe and convenient place for public transpo. Cozy room. Only wish 2 things were available: slippers (bec the floor becomes very cold) and drinking water."
