"Location is what stood out for me first - the ease to roam around Brugge as a solo traveler has really been perfected by this. The bar staff is so knowledgeable as well about local beers and I do get that it’s their job, but he’s explained clearly without being condescending at all as it was my first time visiting and I am quite particular about my beer. I was there between 13-16 June 2026 - if any Martins Brugge hotel is reading this, please send my thank you"

"When we arrived to the property, the hotel could not find our reservation. Gina at the reception was fantastic and she upgraded us to a suite with canal view! 😍 This room raised our expectations and experience of Bruges!"

"Facilities: The room was very comfortable and spacious; two large suitcases could easily fit. The bed was also large enough for a child. Cleanliness: The room was very clean and comfortable from the lobby onwards. Environment: The hotel's interior environment was fantastic; the children loved the chess table in the lobby. The hotel is located right next to a plaza, making it a very convenient location. Service: Finding the parking lot took a little time, but the front desk staff kindly and patiently guided us."

"The hotel is basic no frills but was perfect for us for a couple of nights. We booked a triple room for myself my husband and our 11 year old son. The room was huge and also had a little kitchen area which was great. The location is great right off the main square. There is not air con but they do provide a large fan which was enough to cool the room when sleeping. The shower room had a shower over a bath tub which had great pressure and the towels provided are lovely and fluffy. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We would stay here again"

"My bunkbed didn’t have a curtain so I asked to change at reception. Unfortunately, I was changed to a bunkbed next to the door which was unnecessarily loud. On my last night there there was also a constant beeping that everyone complained about. It’s a clean hostel with a pub, which was pretty cool. My room was in a building separate to the pub. The kitchen was great with a cute outside area to eat. It’s a bit of a walk to the train station but there are buses."

"It was a very pleasant and cozy hotel. The check-in is at the bar around the corner. The shared bathroom is used by 3 rooms on the floor which is not too bad. The location is great as well - close to the train station and about 1 km from the city centre and the area around the hotel is very nice and clean as well. Would definitely stay here again"

"The location is excellent and it is very convenient to go to various attractions. If you drive yourself, it is a bit difficult to get in and out of the hotel. The car is clearly parked next door, but it took half an hour to get to the hotel entrance (one-way street + road closure)"

"Hotel ideally located a stone's throw from the Markt. Warm and very welcoming owner. Attention to detail and customer well-being. Spacious but rococo room equipped with all amenities (Air conditioning, bathrooms, etc.) Hearty, varied continental breakfast in a magnificent setting (old cellar with 14th century vaulted ceilings). In short, more than positive value for money."

"Nice hotel with convenient self check-in and check-out. The room and bathroom are small and not very spacious, amenities just the essentials but no hair dryer that didn't help. Overall ok for a one-night stay. The location is excellent, you can reach all the main tourist attractions within a few minutes."
