LleoxleoxleoThe room's furniture and decor are quite good – new, comfortable, and clean. There were no slippers (I had my own, so I didn't ask the hotel; maybe like some European hotels, you have to specifically request them, or perhaps they don't provide them at all). The bathroom was clean and new, but the towels were just so-so (clean, not dirty, but the quality wasn't great).
The female receptionist was a bit condescending and had an odd demeanor. She sent an intern to handle my check-in, but then came out to whisper with the intern when it was time to pay, insisting on charging a double city tax for a single person. The whole experience was far from ideal, even though I'd like to avoid labeling her as stingy. The male receptionist next to her, however, provided much better service and was more efficient. For travelers arriving or departing Antwerp by train, the hotel's location is excellent, just a one-minute walk to the station.
