"We had a very enjoyable stay in Antwerp. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Central Station, with the added bonus of a Starbucks opening at 6:00 a.m. nearby.
Our junior suite was spacious, and the large sofa made the room feel especially comfortable. The huge shower was another highlight, but the real standout was the memory foam mattress. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable and made the stay feel quite special.
The room rate itself was attractive, although several extras were charged separately. Parking and breakfast are understandable, but €2 for a capsule of rather average coffee felt excessive. I am not saying Starbucks serves exceptional coffee, but at least it is a recognised brand. Charging €7 to use the pool was also unusual, although it was at least available for guests who wanted it.
Overall, this was still a five-star experience for us. The spacious room, excellent location and, above all, the fantastic bedding made the stay memorable."
"This place is not a hotel, but it offers very good value for the price. The location is convenient, close to the train station and easy to get around.
The room was clean and well maintained. The reception staff were helpful and provided good service throughout the stay. Check-in and communication were smooth.
Overall, it’s a practical and comfortable place to stay, especially considering the price and location. A good option for travelers looking for convenience and cleanliness rather than full hotel services."
"Warm welcome from the receptionist and given a clean, nice room facing The Opera. Location was perfect, near Central Station and the shopping street that take you right to historic centre.
Breakfast selection left a lot to be desired though.
I would still recommend staying here."
"The crew is always very helpful and kind. I love the rooms - they are very spacious, clean and have everything you need. Large mirror and area to get ready in the morning. Perfect location, right next to the station so easy when you arrive by train. The bed is huge, and very comfortable. This is my second stay here and my go-to hotel when in Antwerp."
"The stay went very well, the hotel is quite close to the Center, the rooms are comfortable, with everything necessary kettle, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, good soundproofing except when you have very very noisy neighbors unfortunately the hotel is not responsible for the incivility of the customers. Too bad that the reception staff does not speak French so no information is possible. The breakfast is very limited but correct."
"The room was quite spacious, and the bedding was comfortable and clean, with a good desk for working.
However, during my three-night stay, there was no housekeeping service to clean the room or change the sheets.
There's no on-site parking, so you have to park next door. It's close, but a bit pricey – 22 euros for 8-24 hours.
The hotel is very close to the cathedral and other attractions, with most main sights just a 5-15 minute walk away."
"Excellent location, just 5 minutes from the train station and close to both a metro and tram stop. The service was professional and friendly.
The room and facilities were very clean.
Complimentary hot drinks and water are available 24/7.
There's a pleasant terrace for smokers or just to enjoy a drink in the sun.
The bar has affordable prices.
I highly recommend it!"
"I am very happy that I chose this hotel for my trip. It was a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
The hotel is about a 12-minute walk from the station, and along the way there are many restaurants and supermarkets. There are also plenty of dining options and shops near the hotel, which is very convenient.
The breakfast environment is calm and relaxing, with a wide variety of food, and everything tastes very good. The hotel staff are polite, and there is sparkling water available in the lobby.
The room is comfortable, clean, and very practical. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends."
"Appartement and Hotel style stay in the Dockland neighborhood of Antwerp. About 20min with public transport very close by around the corner of Hotel and plenty of city bicycle and e-stepper options to move around. My check in experience was efficient and friendly making me feel welcome. The Hotel has a clean and tidy all over appearance and my room #306 had a spacious feel and a good size double bed.
NO AIRCO!! That was one major minus point for me, the Hotel does provide ventilators but during a heat wave it was not enough to feel comfortable. The Hotel has no ”Do not Disturb” door signs which resulted in Housekeeping entering without knocking on door.
I brought this to the attention of the receptionist."
"The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. However, the room lacked cleanliness and needs improvement. There was dust in the corners of the room and on the bed railings. Empty plastic bottles and tissues were scattered on the floor. Additionally, some guests were inconsiderate. There were people using beds that weren't theirs, and others making loud noises late at night. I would definitely not want to stay here again."

Great
AAnonymous UserHow should I describe this hotel? Actually, the location is great, the environment is great, the price is reasonable, and the room even has a kitchen and washing machine. Maybe because I stayed in a room by myself, the design of this hotel building is very unique. It actually has two buildings, but I happened to stay in the other building, so I had to walk a long way and it was very deep. I'm not afraid of walking, but every time I had to go back to the room, for some reason it was very quiet... very quiet... It was a bit scary (after all, the corridor is really deep) (you have to go down a short flight of stairs and take two different elevators). As for the environment and the room, it was great, but I was really scared to go back to the room during the two days I stayed there (I didn't have this feeling when I stayed in other hotels).
GGuest UserGreat location, just a two-minute walk from the train station and close to a metro station, making it very convenient for visiting the Christmas markets. The room was a bit small, and the shampoo and shower gel dispenser was broken, which was slightly inconvenient. Breakfast exceeded our expectations and was very good. Special thanks to Momo at the front desk for the friendly, funny, and welcoming service on our check-out day.
AAnonymous UserMy stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very peaceful, which made it a perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the city. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It is situated very close to Antwerp Central Station, which makes transportation extremely convenient, especially if you are arriving by train or planning to travel around Belgium.
The surrounding area is calm, safe, and very pleasant to walk around. Within just a short walk, you can find many lovely streets, shops, restaurants, and cafés. I also loved that it is close to Antwerp Zoo, which is one of the oldest zoos in Europe and definitely worth visiting. The neighborhood has a very charming atmosphere, and simply walking around the area felt like part of the experience.
The hotel itself was very comfortable and well maintained. The room was neat, nicely arranged, and provided a relaxing environment after a busy day in the city. The overall ambiance of the hotel felt quiet and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
The only small thing that could be improved is the heating. It would have been even better if the room heater could make the room warmer, especially during colder weather. Aside from that, everything else about my stay was great.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Antwerp. The combination of the excellent location, peaceful environment, and comfortable rooms makes it a great place to stay while exploring the city.
GGuest UserIn terms of value for money, my partner and I confidently give it a solid 5*.
Book with breakfast included — it will save you a significant amount of money.
There are a few minor points to be aware of:
The city itself is very expensive.
The lift and electricity in the room only work when the key card is inserted.
At breakfast, you can make Belgian waffles yourself, although using an American-style waffle iron.
There are some visible signs of wear and tear, and our shower leaked slightly onto the tiles.
Everything else about the hotel was excellent. The morning coffee is very good.
AAlicebeautyNice room ,the space is quite big and look comfortable.
The hygiene is good! Very clean!
The breakfast place is acceptable bit the variety of food is not more. The picked food areas are not very big enough to many people to line up to pick good!
I recommend all come to have breakfast as early as you can.
Overall I sleep well in the night! Thank you!
The housekeeper is helpful. The reception desk is helpful too.
The venue is good so I can save money to go shopping center and MA go music institute. Thanks
EEgor KrombergI had a mixed experience at Moxy Antwerp. On the positive side, the breakfast was really good, with a nice variety and quality. The location is also convenient: you can reach the city center in about 30 minutes on foot or 10–15 minutes by tram, and the largest museum is just a 5–10 minute walk away. There’s also a grocery store nearby that’s open on Sundays, which is very handy.
However, there were several downsides. The check-in process was slow - staff needed to verify something, and I had to wait in the lobby with my 5-year-old child instead of going straight to the room. The “welcome drink” was disappointing: after we had already chosen cocktails, we were told we could only pick from a single limited option. It felt misleading and poorly communicated.
Cleanliness was also an issue. There was a dirty table in the room, stains on the bathroom walls, and the room had an unpleasant smell - possibly due to pets being allowed, which raises the question of why carpet is used at all.
Overall, while the location and breakfast are strong points, the service and cleanliness need significant improvement.
PPangdachihaowanhaoVery close to the Central Station, just a 5-minute walk. However, the hotel's Wi-Fi had some issues; I could connect but there was no internet. The room was also a bit old. Overall, it was okay, nothing special but not bad either.
GGuest UserPerfect location with a supermarket right at the corner of the same building. Staff are nice. No hairdryer in the room, but can be borrowed at reception with a 20€ deposit or ID.
AAnonymous UserThe stay overall was nice, had good breakfast, and great location. The rooms were really cold and the little electric heater sadly didn’t do us much justice. Maybe not ideal for colder seasons. Also the pictures didn’t clearly show that the shower would be in the room with nothing to cover the part? The pictures pf the room we booked showed a seperate bathroom so we were confused. Not ideal for family settings but we only stayed two nights which made it more bearable.
