"The room was clean and tidy, perfect for a solo traveler, and came equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, and some basic dishes and cutlery. A big plus was the small dining area, which offers 24-hour self-service coffee, and before 10 AM daily, they have a nice selection of pastries, fruits, and yogurt. The location is also very convenient; it's just a 3-minute walk to Green Square train station, making it super easy to get to the airport or the city center. This is my third time staying here!"

"The hotel location was great - close to thr airport and easy access to the city. Room was spacious and had good amenities e.g. kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher etc. Some aspects of the room would need a bit of updating as you can see it is not brand new anymore. Sauna, pool and jacuzzi were lovely. However, jacuzzi wasnt always working and had no working light in the evening. Overall, lovely hotel, staff was friendly - we would stay again :)."

"The location is good and steps from green square station which is 1 stop from central. Housekeeping could be better as mentioned by other guests as they do the bare minimum for stays of 6 nights or below. Even the minimum was a little iffy sometimes as the bed seemed just tossed together instead of properly made. A fellow guest remarked on some itching experienced from the sheets. They do not provide tissues in the room and room slippers need to be purchased for 5 dollars a pair. That said, the kitchen amenities, microwave, hot plate, dishwasher etc were useful for longer stays and the price was ok for what you get."

"Lovely time had here, there was a serene view of the park. We stayed only a few days but it was so conveniently located near cafes and shops, we had a car but if you don’t then you will do fine with the train links. The staff were so kind I was able to leave a gift for my friend at the front desk on check out and they allowed them to pick up the next week."

"Room Size: I was given a room on the first floor, and I was initially worried about poor soundproofing or bugs, but luckily, there were none! I slept really well every night, and it was very quiet outside. The room was spacious, with a living room, an outdoor balcony, a kitchen, a dining table, and a study. It offered excellent value for money and is perfect for tourists staying for over ten days. Location: The hotel is very close to Zetland shopping center, just a two to three-minute walk away. East Village has both Coles and an Asian supermarket. It's a bit further to Green Square train station, about a ten to fifteen-minute walk. If you want to take the bus, it's convenient too, with routes 304 (goes to the City) and 392 (goes to UNSW) nearby. The kitchen was well-equipped with basic cooking utensils, an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and a capsule coffee machine. The only inconvenience was the lack of chopsticks, so I brought some leftover cutlery from my takeout orders. Cleanliness: Regarding cleaning, I had read other reviews before booking, so I was prepared for no daily housekeeping. After checking in, someone did room service about every three days, and the cleaning was quite good (they even thoughtfully left an extra plastic bag for the trash can). They also provided extra bottles of dish soap. I found the trash room on my floor, so whenever I cooked and didn't want the trash sitting in my room overnight, I'd just take it out myself, which was very convenient. Excellent because it is a genuine, informative review. Thumbs up!"

"This hotel was absolutely wonderful! First off, it was incredibly clean, and the thoughtful touches like the water dispenser and amenities in the minibar really stood out. The walking path in front of the hotel was also great; I even went for a run there in the morning! I also had to do some work, so I used the library, which was excellent. It's also super close to Newcastle train station, making transportation very convenient. 👍"

"Central Studio Hotel Sydney has a great location — close to the CBD, Chinatown, and main Sydney attractions like the Harbour Bridge and Opera House. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the basic facilities. The room view and window view were nice, giving a good city outlook. The bathroom was clean and modern. The lobby area looked pleasant and had comfortable seating with space to work while waiting. We arrived early around 9 am, though the check-in time was 3 pm, so it’s better for guests to check this beforehand. The front desk team was friendly and arranged early check-in around 12:30–1 pm. There are several small shops and food options nearby, which was convenient. Overall, a good stay and a nice place to explore Sydney. (Room view, bathroom, lobby, and window view photos attached.)"

"Close to Sydney Station, this is a good choice if you're looking for something cheap and convenient. I opted for a 10-bed mixed dorm, but your experience really depends on your fellow guests. Someone hung a towel reeking of body odor in the wrong spot, and the smell was just overpowering..."

"As an IHG fan, I really like the Express hotels. The rooms are spacious, clean, and come with breakfast, which is a great bonus. The staff at the front desk were very helpful and patient in listening to my requests. While the breakfast selection wasn't huge, it was perfectly adequate, and I appreciated that the menu changed daily during my two-day stay. There's a shuttle bus to the airport for ADU 12 per person, but it makes a stop at the domestic terminal before heading to the international one. Plus, there can be a bit of traffic, so it's not as quick as you might expect. It's best to take an earlier bus if you have a flight to catch. I also enjoyed the chicken wings and red wine for just $33."
