Hotels near Ministries Complex, Abu Dhabi

This was my first time encountering an issue when booking a hotel abroad. I arrived at the Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana in Abu Dhabi after 9 PM. Check-in was smooth. Upon entering the room, I noticed it was newly renovated, with a strong smell of construction materials, even though the Ctrip homepage stated it was renovated in 2023. I immediately contacted customer service to resolve the issue, but since it was already past midnight, I couldn't book another room for that night. Ctrip's customer service was quite responsible. The agent I spoke with, Xiao Cheng, was a girl who was very capable at problem-solving. She helped me find a nearby hotel and asked me to pay for it first, with the understanding that I would negotiate with the platform later. Overall, I'd give the handling process a 7 out of 10, as the information displayed on the platform was indeed incorrect. However, this hotel has now changed its renovation year to 2025. I paid over 1000 AED for my stay, but the usual price is only around 500 AED. I hope everyone pays attention and doesn't overpay; this hotel's price is not worth over 1000 AED. If I have the chance to visit Abu Dhabi again in the future, I will still choose to book my rooms through Ctrip!

The pool area was very comfortable and perfect for a vacation. However, on the day we checked in, we were given the wrong room type – not the one with a bathtub as requested through Ctrip. The next day, we discovered the air conditioning was broken, and to our surprise, it wasn't fixed all day. We had to wait until the evening for repairs, and then an additional hour for it to actually be fixed. It was a lot of hassle.

This is a business hotel, wonderful, clean. Delicious breakfasts. Far from the infrastructure, you can get to the mosque by taxi, since there are highways around, you won't get there. Breakfasts are not varied but enough, very tasty

The hotel was clean on arrival and check-in was smooth. However, the room was smaller than shown in the images. I asked for a room change but they refused to upgrade unless we paid extra per night. Breakfast was good, with fresh omelettes made to order and a nice selection overall. We decided to add the evening meal, which honestly worked out better with the children. The spa was nice, clean, and included in the booking price, which was an added benefit. There was no kids’ club as mentioned on the website; however, there was an outdoor play area, which worked well if you wanted the children to be outside. The location was far from the city centre, though it was convenient for visiting the Butterfly Garden and the National Aquarium.

Everything was great, and my mom and I had a wonderful stay. ① Location: It's about a 10-15 AED taxi ride from the Grand Mosque. There are taxis readily available downstairs, and the staff will help you hail one if you ask. I found these to be cheaper than ride-sharing apps like Uber. ② Room Facilities: Clean and tidy, with excellent hardware and software, including hot water. The hotel also has a private beach, and many people were sunbathing there. ③ Overall Service: Excellent. The front desk kindly upgraded our room and was very enthusiastic about explaining all the services the hotel offers. It's a shame we didn't have time to experience the abra (water taxi) for sightseeing.

Overall, my stay was great and I'd definitely recommend it. **Location:** The hotel is centrally located, right by a subway entrance, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions and shopping areas. **Facilities:** The room was clean and tidy, with modern decor. The bedding was comfortable, and I slept really well. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and there was plenty of hot water. **Service:** The front desk staff were very welcoming, and check-in was efficient. They were also quick to respond whenever I had an issue. **A small suggestion:** It would be perfect if the in-room Wi-Fi signal were a bit stronger. I would consider staying here again!

I traveled from Dubai to Abu Dhabi myself, and first of all, parking was very convenient. The hotel facilities are excellent, and the decor is beautiful. It had a lovely Christmas atmosphere. If you park in the underground garage, it can be a bit tricky to find your way up, as each hotel's elevators are different, so keep that in mind. The room was also spacious, and the staff were very friendly. I especially want to mention that the hotel's breakfast was fantastic – absolutely delicious! If you go early, it's practically empty. Just a heads-up: the air conditioning can be quite strong, so I recommend wearing long sleeves.

We enjoyed our stay at Aloft Abu Dhabi. Mostly the stay was pleasant, except that we were put on a floor (given an upgrade, which was appreciated) with predominantly families and before breakfast or later in the evening/night it was noisy (people talking loudly, doors banging). At breakfast would be great if things like alternate milk could be available, rather than asking, as not everyone can or likes drinking normal dairy milk, plus would be great to have all dishes named and main ingredients listed, so to give an idea about unfamiliar food. Nice hotel, will recommend and consider again.

Breakfast was an additional 50 AED, which was great value for money. The room was standard. The location is relatively close to the Grand Mosque. It's very convenient to get a taxi from the hotel, as there's always a row of taxis waiting right outside the entrance.

Our family had a pleasant three-night stay at VOGO Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa from 29 December to 1 January, enjoying the comfortable facilities and beautiful golf course surroundings. Overall, it was a positive experience with a few areas that could be improved. The hotel provides valet parking, which is very convenient, especially when traveling with children and luggage. Most staff we encountered were polite and helpful, although service quality can feel inconsistent at times. One minor disappointment was the check-in experience: the receptionist shook her body in a dismissive way while speaking to us, which did not match the professional standards expected of a five-star hotel. Our room was spacious and generally clean, with the highlight being the lovely golf club view from the window, which made our stay feel relaxing and resort-like. Cleanliness was acceptable, with housekeeping keeping the room in reasonable condition, though not outstanding compared with some other luxury properties. On the first day, the pump of the shower gel dispenser was not working, which was inconvenient after a long day.After we left a note for the hotel on the second morning, the issue was fixed promptly, and the dispenser worked properly for the rest of the stay, showing that the team is responsive once informed. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options including Middle Eastern and international fusion dishes that suited both adults and children. A special thanks to Ms. Getrude at the restaurant: she was very caring toward our child, spoke to her warmly, and even remembered our daughter’s name on the second day, which made us feel genuinely welcomed. Overall, this resort offers a relaxing golf-view environment, convenient valet parking, and a good breakfast selection, making it a comfortable choice for families. With some refinement in front-desk attitude and more attention to small in-room maintenance issues, it has the potential to deliver a consistently five-star experience.
