"70 Hectares is a world class boutique resort in the beautiful surf and turf (golf) area of Seignosse. The beach still has an untouched natural feel even with its “cabanes” (surf bars and grills) The hotel is well run from its young, attractive, well trained staff that always serves up delicious wines from their vineyards and culinary delights with a smile. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with all the modern trappings; ie Nespresso machines and solid WiFi which are a must nowadays. My only suggestion, which I know is uncommon in France, would be to add coffee mate creamers for those of us who prefer café crème in the morning. The breakfast buffet was varied and delicious although the scrambled eggs weren’t warm enough and the bacon wasn’t cooked enough. The free flowing cappuccinos and fresh croissants with locally sourced jams made me forget though. The pool-side rosé and salads were crisp and delicious. Oh yeah and the pool itself was beautiful with confortable loungers. The duck magret and burrata at dinner were top notch. The two slow charge parking spots and two high speed spots (also a must these days) were much appreciated. Although I suggest they improve marking or signage in their parking lot, because twice in four nights, some not so environmentally conscious golfers took the spots despite small signs telling them they are reserved for hotel guests with EV’s. They don’t gouge you on their own wines and have reasonable market prices on everything else, well almost everything, their own olive oil which they sell is very good but a little steep at 34€ a 500ml bottle. My bad for not checking before buying though. The golf course looked beautiful but at a 100€ pp plus rentals and carts was a little much for us golfers who travel with our clubs when we really want to play. We may return with our clubs and sans kids someday ;-). Thank you for a lovely vacation, from our vacation in France."

"An amazing little chambre d’hote with fantastic hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. Parking available perfect for a one or two night stay. The hosts also booked a table in the little local restaurant which was excellent value. Breakfast was amazing and varies. The only thing that we didnt realise was that the loo was an additional room! Apparently this can be the case with most Chambre d’hotes- I did sk David the host why as everything else was so perfect the shower and bathroom wonderful. David explained that this was because it was a Chambre d’hote. For us British slightly disconcerting but it wasnt a problem. Thoroughly reccomend"

"After having come to test the star restaurant this winter, I decided to come back to stay there, being here for the Arte Flamenco festival. A hall that makes a special hotel (The building is an old family home), beautiful and imponing wooden stairs, glasses, warm and quality decoration. We feel right now. Like at home. The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable, and the hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. The rooms are located on the floor around this remarkable staircase, and I enjoyed the calm, decoration and comfort of the matala. You have a small safe, flat-screen TV. The spacious bathroom is very well furnished. The "yellow room" is small but elegant, and largely enough for one person. The noise of the river flowing under the windows is very pleasant. The park is very pleasant to come to sit, kitchen or work. The restaurant is also a restaurant (Bistrot 1912). I would also like to emphasise the kindness of all staff, whether at the bar, at the reception and also the room staff. Thank you very much and, I hope, next year."
