The location is simply amazing. The building is new, the room was clean, and the kitchen was spacious and comfortable.

Very good location in the centre of the town if u are taking intercity bus to there. The hotel have a very nice glass view, full equip kitchen and lounge to chill and rest. Room is comfy and have a nice view.

Memorable stay at Haka House Lake Tekapo. Amazing view of the lake just in front of your eyes and walking distance to the Church of Good Shepherd for stargazing.

Haka House Lake Tekapo is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. It is located right in front of the Lake Tekapo, offering breathtaking views through the large glass windows in the common area.

Everything was perfect in the hostel. Nothing to complain. I would stay again.

The location is excellent and it's very convenient to walk to nearby attractions! close to bus stop and lake tekapo！Very good, very good! The staff's service attitude is particularly good and they provided great assistance! I highly recommend this hotel!

This hotel has one of the best locations among all the hotels in the area. It’s right next to supermarkets and restaurants, and just across the bridge is the Church of the Good Shepherd — all of which are easily reachable on foot. Once you arrive, there’s no need to drive anywhere, which is incredibly convenient. The only downside was the poor soundproofing. Even in the early hours of the morning, we could still hear people talking and laughing outside, which affected our sleep. That said, the location more than makes up for it, especially if you’re looking for a place within walking distance of everything.

An amazing hostel with wonderful view. I can enjoy my food with a stunning view in kitchen. Clean equipment and comfortable environment. Highly recommended to all tourists who visit Tekapo.

Location is excellent, its right next to the intercity bus stop.  The common area is tidy and beautiful. We can see the lake right from the windows

Location was very convenient if you have plans to tour the Lake Tekapo and Lake Pukaki areas. Most of the good restaurants in this area are right next to this hotel (within walkable distance) so this is also a plus. There are also many parking spaces available around the hotel so you do not have to worry about that if you are driving. The downsides of this place are that the rooms are very small and that there will be a lot of bugs if you leave the windows opened
