"If you're visiting the North Island, this hotel offers excellent value for money. They provide free airport shuttle service. If you want to go to a dive shop in town, you can ask the hotel to help you call a taxi. The hotel offers a variety of daily activities; I recommend feeding the sleeper sharks and seeing the turtles. The hotel staff are very welcoming and will greet you with a "bula." Philip, who greeted us, was especially nice. Compared to the high prices on the main island, the town on the North Island is incredibly affordable. Aside from the slightly inconvenient transportation, the North Island is the perfect choice in terms of both price and experience."

"Sharon and team, We just checked out,Beautiful little paradise nestled on top of a hill which i sooo enjoyed walking up and down and those stairs man o man i feel so fit . We stayed for 8 days and let me just say waking up and looking out at the ocean and breathing such fresh ocean air is just out of this world. Surita thank you for the yummy healthy breakfast every morning we stayed and the bread just yum.Sharon and her team made our stay so relaxing. I am definitely going back there . "We recently hosted a group of over 30 guests at Daku Resort for a conference, and from start to finish, our experience exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate every one of our needs (including countless last-minute changes). Nothing was ever too much trouble, and the team’s friendly, made coordinating such a large group a breeze. A special mention must go to the owners, JJ and Delia, who made us feel very much at home, often joining us for dinner and sparking lively conversations. Delia even personally took us snorkelling to show us the best local spots. The resort itself is in a stunning location, with breathtaking views of the bay. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and beautifully positioned to take full advantage of the scenery."

"My husband, our two sons in their early twenties and I spent two night in this beautiful, clean, and conveniently located place. We were lucky to be first guests in the lodge which reopened after being closed for over two years. The owner was very helpful and friendly. He arranged for our transportation, helped us to plan which places to visit in the area, and introduced us to Ana, an amazing local guide who also offers heavenly massages. We stayed in a room with ocean view and we truly enjoyed watching ocean sunsets from our balcony. The spacious room had two queen beds and one twin bed, dining table and a little kitchen with a small fridge. It comes with its own big bathroom and air conditioning. There is a bigger communal kitchen on the property together with outside dining area. The whole property is beautifully maintained and our room was absolutely spotless."

The Remote Resort ★★★★

"This is the most exciting and important invigorating vacation my husband and I have been on. We came to Remote Resort from California after a stressful previous year. Living in traffic and on top of one another in albeit beautiful Newport Beach. We travelled from LAX via Fiji Air business class (lovely flight, good food and drink with a very clean plane and highly attentive staff) and then raced over to the Fiji smaller terminal for our internal and flight. We were delayed 5 hours by a huge rainstorm. Turned out we could have slowed down a bit in getting over there. Then you take a boat to the resort. Note: Do not bring your LV or high end leather luggage as it is going to get wet and no one will care what you are carrying anyway! After a beautiful arrival which I will let you experience and won’t spoil the surprises, we rested for the rest of the day. Over the next 4 days we snorkeled everyday thank you Vileesi and Kim. Vileesi snorkeled with me everyday and actually held my hand in difficult current and made sure that she showed me everything there was to see that I surely would have missed. We had so much fun snorkeling, eating, drinking, laughing and hanging out with our new staff family. The food is so delicious and is not , not American processed, chemically enhanced food. It is fresh, home grown, cooked to order food like we are supposed to be eating. Our American bodies go through a period of food detox I think and you will leave this resort with a finer palate and more appreciative of fresh, healthy food. The rooms are clean clean clean! Amazing air conditioning and the house reef was better than any I saw anywhere else. Everything is so alive. It was a real awakening for me of what Hawaii probably looked like 75 years ago. This resort brought my husband and I closer as there is nothing to do at night except listen to your own music and talk and entertain each other. Outdoor shower was pristine, not a **** in sight! Kim and Valeesi made sure we did a new part of rainbow reef each day and went to some fabulous new beach and ate great picnics with my hand made Mai tais. We cannot wait to go back next year. This was too good of a place to not continue the exploration of amazing Rainbow Reef and I can’t wait to get back with our new friends!
