Etoile Labrine Guest House

We had a great stay at the Etoile Labrine guesthouse, where we booked a triple room. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the host was very friendly). The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, it was very clean, especially the bathroom looked quite new, and we had everything we needed: fridge, air conditioning, safe, etc. There's also a supermarket just around the corner. The guesthouse has a nice garden area and is just a 5-minute bike ride from the stunning Anse de Source d'Argent beach. You can rent bikes directly on-site, which is super convenient. It's about a 10-15 minute bike ride to the “center” and ferry, and around 20 minutes to our favourite beach, Anse Patates. “Jamal” is the heart of the guesthouse. He prepares an excellent breakfast and is always ready to help with anything you might need. Big kudos to him for his enthusiasm and joy in his work. We stayed at high-end hotels in Mahé and Praslin with way more amenities like pools, GYM, SPA, bars etc. but this guesthouse offers great value for money. Despite its simplicity, it has a great location and provides reliable service thanks to Jamal. Highly recommend it!

Set in a really pretty garden and well maintained grounds on the outskirts of the main village. This didn’t bother us as it meant more cycling which we all really enjoyed. We arranged a transfer from the port and had a fun journey in the buggy. We hired bikes which were dropped to the accommodation for us. We had interconnecting double and twin rooms, perfect for a family of 4. The kids loved their mosquito nets. The bedrooms and bathrooms are big and have a fridge, tea making facilities and outdoor terrace with seating. Breakfast is tasty and plentiful with different options every day.

This is a magical place. The lovely owner Johanne and the staff was really helpful and very friendly. We‘ve been served fresh juices, fresh fruits and a good breakfast. All of the fruits and veggies are all organic from the own garden. The garden is really lovely. We wanted to experience the island with bicycles. Already at the pick up the driver organized 2 bikes for us. By the time we done our check in the bikes where ready. The place is super clean and tidy. Outstanding! For us this was one of the nicest accommodations on our trip through the Seychelles. I strongly recommend this place. La Digue is a stunning destination, so I spent most of the time cycling, hiking, swimming and diving and was looking for a clean and quiet place where to sleep, not expecting too much luxury. I found that at Etolie Labrine and Apurver was an excellent host. The provided bycicle was great to move around the island - I stayed there for 8 nights and was able to really enjoy all of the island.

Very attentive and helpful lady, and son, owner. Great meals prepared at request, slightly pricey-but high quality and better than most restaurants. Clean and well kept cottages, great in the afternoon, hot in the morning (or vice verca if your south) Calm and with a nice afternoon breeze and open air feeling,

This is by far one of the best places we have ever stayed. Service 10/10 Were picked up from the Ferry and transfered to the accomadation by the owner's son who was just a gentleman. Welcome drinks were ready on arrival and they arranged bikes for us for the duration of our stay. The staff were very helpful and they were willing to go above and beyond to meet our needs. Accomodation 9/10 The accomodation we stayed in was more than suitable. The beds were huge with plenty of room for me to twist and turn without annoying my wife 😅. The room was clean and always kept that way. Food 10/10 Breakfast - was made with love and always left you satisfied and salivating for the next morning. Variety of choice with an amazing selection of fruits. Imnnot a drinker but there was always wine for those that needed. Dinner - the best fish I have ever tasted. We were the only ones who had ordered dinner that night and they went out of their way to make a candle lit dinner just outside our accomdation. Little did they know that it was actually our 5 year anniversary. It was thoughtful of them. Made for a perfect night.
