The hotel was clean, walking distance to the train station and bus stops. Washing dryer available (contactless and coins) Payment options.Room was clean and spacious enough for two people.

We enjoyed staying in this hotel. Nice and clean, delicious breakfast, etc. only minor comment is there was no drinking water bottle provided in the room.

The hotel features a cozy buffet that serves delicious breakfast options, including traditional Japanese dishes. Location of the hotel is very close to city center which is very convenient! I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kyoto 👍🏼

This is one of the best foreigner friendly hotel in Kyoto. We were greeted by a very warm staff and check in process was smooth as silk. Rooms are spacious according to the Japanese standards. Very clean and shining. All amenities are available in the room. We had a good night's sleep to get up fresh. Greeted by breakfast team to a wonderful breakfast. Our day of sight seeing in Kyoto was nice because of the hotel.

Great room, spacious and nice view (can see Kyoto Tower from the room). The only downside is the crowd during breakfast. We can hardly get a seat and have to eat in a rush to give seats to others afterward.

Good service, average breakfast, but since its free, we have nothing to complain about. Room size also good in japan standard..

We arrived in the rain an hour before check in, the woman working reception told us our room was ready, but would cost us 1500yen more (for an hour!). This left a really negative first impression. Considering how much we’d paid already, out of principle we went back out into the rain for an hour instead. Location isn’t great. Overall the staff were friendly.

Lovely hotel with a great breakfast. I was annoyed that they made us pay the city tax for 4 guests, even though there were only 3 of us.

Hotel was good location, staff are friendly helped me to get around the city, breakfast also was good and rooms were big enough, we had toddler so he enjoyed watching Netflix after exploring by the city

General area cleanliness is excellent. But toilets were not cleaned during our entire stay of 3nights. Location is good as frequent buses and taxi are available to reach Kyoto station at affordable price.
