I saw a travel show on TV (Tabi Salad) and thought "I want to go!" so I searched and booked. Mansukero is a small inn with 9 rooms. Although it is a little more expensive than the other regular rooms, I highly recommend the special room "Ryugu-nami". The view of the Sea of Japan from the room is outstanding, and the food is a wonderful arrangement of seafood and mountain produce from Tango. The special room also has an indoor bath, but we used the large public bath. Since the number of rooms = the number of guests is low, it was only a semi-indoor bath. There is Princess Otohime's treasure box on the tokonoma in the room, but we left it "unopened" because we don't want to get any older.
