We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves. The buffet breakfast and dinner were good. There were a large variety of dishes, and they were replenished quickly.
The staff was polite and professional in dealing with the guests.
As we didn't want housekeeping services on the second day of our stay, we were pleasantly surprised when a box with all the daily amenities was delivered to our room.
It was a well run hotel with thoughtful touches to make the guests feel at home.

The room is very big, clean and sanitary, highly recommended
If you don't want to go to the large public bath, the hotel has three private hot springs available for reservation at very reasonable prices. The room has a view of the magnificent bridge and river, with a small train passing over the bridge.
Breakfast and dinner are both buffets, the food is of normal standard!

A standard Japanese hot spring hotel with weakly alkaline water. The room I booked online was 60 square meters, which was not the actual room. I could see the canyon from one corner of the room.
