Popular Kunming 4-star Hotels

We loved our stay at the hotel! Below a few reasons why we highly recommend it if you want to explore Kunming as a tourist: - The hotel was great, in the heart of Kunming (ideal if you want to explore the city and get around!) - Breakast was delicious and with lot of variety from which to choose -The staff at the reception has always been available and highly helpful to support us averyday, as we did not speak chinese. Amazing team of wonderful people always willing to help and care for us with sincere smiles and kindness We will definitely remember this stay and the lovely staff!

We booked a tatami room with children. The bed was big, the room was separated into wet and dry areas, and it was very clean. The check-in front desk also gave children toiletries and a beverage package for Chinese New Year stay. The hotel breakfast was also good. The hotel is not far from the subway station. There are shared bicycles around, and it is very close to Nanping Old Street for dining. Overall, we were very satisfied and we stayed for another night.

This hotel locates at one of the best location in Kunming. Right across the street, there's a beautiful lake called Emerald Lake (Cui Hu). There are a lot of seagulls in the winter and is a major attraction. My room has a view of the lake, and I could have a cup of coffee under the sunshine watching the lake and the people exercising or just having fun near the lake. Unfortunately I arranged too many sightseeing activities for this trip that I didn't have a chance for that. The staff here are wonderful: friendly, courteous, and resourceful, and answered all my questions as quickly as possible. The breakfast provided with my booking is wonderful as well. There are Western-styled food (continental breakfast), Chinese food, and local delicacies. I thoroughly enjoyed the local food.

Friendly and help staff. Keep up the good services. Walking distance to Nan Chiang Night Street, JinMa Square, and plenty of eateries within its vicinity. Grocery and pharmacy are just next to the hotel.

Stayed here for a night for our flight home the following day. It was clean and the mountain view was very pleasant. The garden was enchanting and beautiful and I particularly love the roses.The breakfast was nice at an affordable price. The lady chef was exceptionally friendly too. The hotel manager was very friendly and allowed us to pick their apples at their garden.The only thing lacking was the amenities. Not easy to find a decent place to shop in our spare time. Highly recommended!👍

I and my 15 yo son had stayed in Jinjiang Hotel in the beginning of my trip in Yunnan and the end of my trip. It was my first time visiting China. We don't speak Mandarin Location: very close to Kunming Railway Station, around 10 minutes walk carrying luggage. Close to everywhere, around 2 km or 15-17 RMB by taxi to Shuncheng Shopping Centre, Nanping Pedestrian Street, Shuncheng Mosque, halal restaurant (only 5 minutes walk from restaurant), nearby shopping centre and department store. Service: excellent services, they went above and beyond especially Manager Ms Mei. She helped me so much to organise tour. All staff were helpful assisting me to get a taxi, show me the halal restaurant on the back of the hotel, show me the way to station. The hotel also provide welcome fruit and soup upon check in. Cleanliness; very clean Value for money: 4 star hotel yet very affordable with excellent 5 star hotel services. I would love to stay again in the future if I visit Yunnan.

The accommodation is beautiful, clean and quiet. There is no noise disturbance. I enjoyed my stay at Ruo'an Duiyuelou Boutique Hotel. It is easy access to the Kunming Metro system which can connect you easily to other sites in the city, the airport and train stations. I stayed at this hotel in late October and didn't have a problem with not having air conditioning. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities I needed for my three (3) night stay. It's very quiet and peaceful at night but a bit lively during the daytime hours. (The hotel does have a common area with tables and chairs that does not face the main street and is always quiet. It can be used if you need some quiet time to work or do things on your laptop.) Easy distance to the walking streets, malls, restaurants, etc. The staff is very friendly and always willing to give recommendations or advice on things in the area. There are English speaking staff which is also extremely helpful. I would stay here again the next time I am in Kunming.

Perfect location right in the middle of the city, next to shopping mall, eateries, local groceries etc. Walkable to Kunming Lao Jie , comprises of several streets. Hotel mattresses, shower, decor is really good. The only thing is they didnt put our 2 rooms (children & grown ups room) on the same floor, so a bit inconvenient to go back and forth. One room is 4th floor and 1 room is 6th floor, which uses two different lifts (1st to 5th floor and 5th to 8th floor). Our rooms were 606 and 423 and there were no noise from the 5th floor cafe live music.

the hotel is good for my family of 4, spacious and clean. staff is also helpful and accomodating, allow me to store luggage at lobby after check out. Decent breakfast, like the soy milk a lot. if there is one thing i would suggest, is to sticker out the bottom of glass shower screen and toilet, for more privacy even though within one family.
