I recently stayed at Yun Nan Song Yi Hotel near Kunming Railway Station, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The location is highly accessible, especially for travelers using the railway, which made our stay very convenient. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable—our room was spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. The facilities were also excellent, providing everything we needed for a comfortable visit. However, while the service was generally good, there was one incident that prevents me from giving it an excellent rating. Despite placing the ”Do Not Disturb” sign on our door, the cleaning staff entered our room and cleaned while we were out. To make matters worse, they left the door wide open, and we only discovered this upon returning in the evening. Fortunately, nothing was missing, but it was a significant oversight. Overall, I would recommend the hotel for its location, cleanliness, and facilities, but I hope they address the issue of staff respecting guests' privacy signs for an even better experience.
