Kunming Wuhua District Hotels

This hotel is located near the department store and Golden Horse and Jade Rooster Archway in Nanping Pedestrian Street. The room is equipped with a separate toilet and shower. The breakfast was varied and tasty. I like the Asian corner with some congee and Chinese dumpling soup. The coffee was great and the selections of fruits and pastry were a great choice. Highly recommend!

Couldn’t ask more for Atour Hotel. Everything meets or exceeds our expectations. The room is good size, amenities are modern and functional; super comfortable beds and pillows; the breakfast is delicious; the location is second to none (eateries, shopping all nearby); and last but not least, the staff are very friendly and helpful. We even got a takeaway breakfast on the day of checking out because our train was early morning and had no time to have breakfast at the restaurant. Will definitely recommend to everyone who come to Kunming!

Minimalist approach by the hotel needs improvement, the towels are little old and best replaced, the toiletry is basic and needs to be replenished with more without asking There were two receptionists, one is very polite and helpful providing a very pleasant service. however, the other is completely opposite, being unhelpful, provides bare minimum in answer and seems that any query is a bother to her. So training to upskilled to the latter is required. The accommodation is a motel style that is close to the Tangzixiang metro and walking distance to the kunming old town . Very convenient for travellers who just need a bed and a shower to rest. Overall a pleasant stay.

The hotel is located right in Kunming Old Street. We arrived around 9 PM, and since the road was closed off at that time, we had to wheel our luggage a few hundred meters. The walk wasn't too bad, though, and the path was quite manageable. The area around the hotel is very lively, with plenty of spots for dining, strolling, and taking photos, especially vibrant in the evenings. The only minor issue was that the room was a bit small, but we received a complimentary upgrade, so overall, it was pretty good! 😊

We had a nice experience here, the hotel is very comfortable and it's nearby the popular tourist attraction too near quyi road. The staff here is friendly and we were also given a free breakfasts. Overall, we had a nice stay here. Since we arrived at night, the photo of the building gacade really helps us to locate the hotel, due to both of us cannot read any Mandarin, the English signs also a bit too small, not facing the front. We had a fantastic stay here! The hotel is spotless — everything from the lobby to the rooms is exceptionally clean and well maintained. It’s not a budget hotel, but definitely worth the price for the comfort and convenience you get. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the city, surrounded by shopping malls, local markets, and plenty of great food options just steps away. Perfect for families who want everything within walking distance! The staff were polite and attentive, always making sure we had what we needed. The room was spacious, quiet, and very comfortable — ideal after a long day of exploring. My kids loved the stay too, which says a lot! If you’re looking for a clean, family-friendly hotel that’s right in the action yet peaceful inside, this place is an excellent choice. Highly recommended!

I booked one night at first, and stayed four days in the end. This is my second time staying at this hotel - the first time I had a red room, this time I had the yellow room. Every room is distinct with unique artwork, designs, and furnishing, so you can pick one that fits your needs and mood. I love the bold colors and nod to Yunnan culture with a contemporary flair. The hotel is on a trendy street with lots of eateries and shopping. A few minutes away, you’ll get to Nanping street with more options. Right below the hotel, there’s a drinks shop that opens late. Be aware that since it’s on a commercial street, there will be noise at night. Some nights are quieter than others, and you’re provided with earplugs if you need them. The staff at the front desk are really nice and helpful. They’re not overly engaged, but they’re always available to help when needed and were generous in accommodating my needs. Artme will continue to be my go to when I’m here!

This was our second hotel in Kunming. Compared to the dazzling variety of unique guesthouses, an established star-rated hotel often doesn't stand out as much. My husband even echoed my thoughts, saying, 'Let's just go with this one.' At first, I felt that paying over 600 RMB here didn't quite offer the same value or 'Instagrammable' charm as a 500+ RMB guesthouse, and it lacked anything truly special. However, for business travelers or anyone needing a truly good night's sleep, it's an excellent choice. The double-glazed windows provide superb soundproofing, and the hotel's service, bedding, and attention to detail are all quite commendable. I wouldn't recommend it for a leisure trip, though, as there isn't much to explore in the nearby old streets. For hotel visuals, it's best to check their official photos, as I only took a couple of quick snaps.

Came to Kunming with my 6 years old. We didn’t know the hotel is inside the mall so was a little lost. But staff were very kind to come out and fetch us to the hotel. They offered to carry my big heavy luggage up to the room. That’s giving the extra mile service. The room is very culturally designed, amenities are very sufficient and breakfast is healthy and local taste. Overall I’m very happy and pleased with their friendliness and very hospitable. The hotel is near 2 attractions where we managed to walk with baidu map help. You can check it out too. Room is very clean, 肉肉service is super good! They asked you to scan a WeChat to give you the best service as possible. The environment in the hotel is very relaxing and fresh. And it’s very kid-friendly. Have clean playground, swimming pool etc. They also have free shuttle bus pick up from train station, airport and to free round trip to Ancient town. Highly recommended 👍👍👍
