A luxurious hptel with beautiful views, especially at the lobby area. Breakfast spread was fantastic with lots of choices and variaties. Will return for stay again.

A perfect staycation ~ always wanted to try the grand Hyatt hotel, finally got the chance since my housekeeper went back home for a week, my mum and I decided it’s a time for us to have a nice staycation in the city. I’ve tried the Japanese restaurant several times, and I think it’s the best Japanese izakaya in town. Back to the hotel room, the room is spacious and the lighting is great. If you’re the city person, it’s definitely the hotel for you, the location is superb, right in the heart of Kunming City. You may get a ride to anywhere you desire, very next is one of the luxurious shopping centres in town, with the connected passage on the third floor. The hotel staffs are extremely nice and friendly, special thanks to Vincy and Carrie at the front desk,they provided me with the best solutions to extend my stay. For the upcoming future, I think there still a room for improvement, with a great service to start with, I believe it would achieve more.

I would like to commend the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff during my stay. When I found that my foreign mobile data had run out, leaving me unable to use AliPay for payments, the staff went above and beyond. They took the initiative to walk to a shop outside the hotel to verify the situation, which I truly appreciated. Thanks to their suggestion, I was able to visit a nearby bank and successfully withdraw RMB. Their efficiency was evident from the moment I arrived by taxi until my baggage was delivered to my room. I am grateful for their support and professionalism throughout my stay. Thank you for making my stay so positive .though I just ordered 2 boiled eggs they kindly accommodate me with combination of veg  , Though I request for fruit bowl which is not available at room service , they manage to give me with a compliment . and the price is reasonable for room service .  by local eatery if you turn left from entrance walk down the stairs . And their shopping mall is connected through third floor . I manage to do some last minute shopping at supermarket to bring back as souvenir . The gym is fully equipped and high tech . Highly recommend this hotel .

Great experience and good stay with the hotel. Connection with the mall accessible for rainy days. Kevin wan and Nano Lan also helped us greatly with our stay at the hotel. Would love to stay here again

New and well designed hotel. Breakfast was normal with a few interesting local dishes. Not worth if you are paying the full price for it. The hotel has a link way to a mall which has food options and supermarket. 德和 canned food outlet is in the mall so you can shop there easily. There is also a 上山喝茶 outlet behind the hotel. Overall a wonderful hotel at SGD222/night with Trip Stay Voucher

Front office officer is friendly and helpful. It's an unforgettable experience to stay at Grand Hyatt Kunming. I will definitely stay at Grand Hyatt again on my next visit.

Nice and new hotel. Well equipped, quiet and comfortable. I liked the bathroom, well laid out with powerful shower and small bathtub for a nice soak. Attached to a big modern shopping mall with plenty of eating options, lots of coffee stops outside the hotel. 15 min walk to Nanqiang Street area where there are lots of good stalls. Their buffet breakfast was pricey but had a good quality spread of local and western breakfast. Everything was fresh and well presented.

Great place for a comfortable stay during our family vacation! We got upgraded to a suite that come with birthday decorations surprise! A big shoutout to Emily who took care of us during our stay, her service was fantastic and we certainly enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is new, the location is strategically inside the city and it is very convenient to explore the surroundings. What really stood out to me, though, was the exceptional service from the concierge staff “Bianca” and “Nancy”. They were not only friendly and helpful but also proactive in ensuring everything was perfect. I especially appreciated how they consistently followed up to make sure our needs were met. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers.

Most beautiful hotel in Kunming, 5 star decoration and service, convenient connection to shopping mall.

Best hotel in Kunming, we really like it. Great new design, a very good club service and very nice breakfast. One thing to improve is to add the mini bar for free to the club rooms according to the standard at five star hotels. Much appreciated the personal service of Jerry and Collin at the front desk.

Really enjoyed our stay at Grand Hyatt Kunming, and the room looks luxurious, very clean comfy bed and room, and we were given a nice welcome plate of grapes on our arrival. But I felt the pillows could be more comfortable as it was quite thin. The staff at Grand Hyatt were also very nice and prompt in their service. When we rang the room service, the staff were very fast in meeting our requests. From the front service desk, to the bellman, and the staffs that delivered water to our room, they were all very polite and helpful and made our stay a pleasant one. A special shoutout to Nancy at the front desk for her great, friendly attitude, and going above and beyond in her service during our stay. Will definitely recommend Grand Hyatt Kunming!

An excellent hotel, centrally located with ready access to good food, shopping and sight seeing area. Restaurant staffs are exceptionally attentive to our dietary preferences and gave good suggestions. Roast duck, pine cone fish and in season hairy crab is a must try. Breakfast buffet gives a colorful and satisfying selection of local and international fare. A lovely way to round up or Yunan family trip.
