"I thought it was just a regular hotel, but it turned out to be a really big resort. There weren't any shops or restaurants nearby, but the resort had its own dining options and bars, so that wasn't an issue. Being right by the beach was a huge plus for leisure. Although the building facilities felt a bit old, they were very well-maintained, and all the staff were incredibly friendly, which made for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was quite delicious, and we also tried the resort's bar and the teppanyaki steak place – the quality at both was excellent."

"I only have good things to say about this location. Instead of a hotel room.. U get a studio suite. Trust me this is the best location when U venture north. Ideal to stay 2 days at least to explore the north with a head start from early morning and skip the entire hour plus drive from Naha. The host is super friendly despite limited English. I will definitely be back if I am back in Okinawa and exploring the north again. 6 stars out of 5."

"An introverted hotel with interesting architecture, nestled in a forest home to rare yambaru-kuina birds; we saw them early in the morning in the garden to the right of the hotel. Dinner and breakfast are Japanese, a bit of a surprise. Free laundry and drying facilities, a coffee machine, and friendly staff. The muslin bed linens were a surprise."

"We have occupied the whole apartment. The apartment equiped with stove and cooking utensils. But the whole village only have two restaurant and they are all close during my stay. Therecis still a store nearby to buy all necessities, but close at 1900."

"We booked this hostel because we were going to spend two days at the northernmost tip of Okinawa. They have suites with separate showers and toilets, and the rooms are spacious enough with two 1.5m beds, making it suitable for families with children. It's much cheaper than nearby large hotels. Overall, I recommend it. Now for a few things to note, not exactly a complaint, but... 1) There's no elevator, so carrying our suitcases up and down was exhausting. I'd recommend this for female travelers; on our family trip, Dad was the main savior 😄 2) The curtains are only thin and don't block much sunlight, but the room faces west, so the morning sun isn't too harsh. However, when the sun is strong at sunset, it can be quite intense. Regarding food: 1) You can ask the front desk for a list of nearby restaurants; they have English versions. 2) Turn left after exiting the gate and walk a few minutes to the left of the intersection; there's a 7-Eleven convenience store. I recommend their OHAYO pudding ice cream 🍦; it's super delicious! The top layer is crunchy caramel white chocolate with a caramel flavor, and the bottom layer is delicious milk ice cream. 3) Turn left after exiting the gate and walk a few minutes to the right of the intersection; there's a Guotou Village supermarket. It sells more everyday items, seemingly for local residents."
