My partner and I had a lovely 1N stay in the Hill Lodge. The experience of waking up to the breathtaking view of Mount K made the entire trip worthwhile! The buffet breakfast was also excellent and a great start to the morning. We had requested a small birthday effort. While nothing was prepared, we don't blame the staff at all for any potential oversight (we're definitely happy to pay for additional charges, too!). Our only minor suggestion for future guests is that it would be great to be informed at c/in if a special request cannot be accommodated. Overall, it was a memorable stay, and we highly recommend it for the incredible mountain scenery!

This stay is within the KL national park. So to get to the reception you will need to pay for thr entrance fee to the park.
My intention was to stay for one night before going back to town.
This place is meant for hikers who stay for the night to prepare themselves for the climb up to kk peak
The floor Is wooden and when people walks , there are lots of noise. So if you are expecting a good quiet rest, probably it's not a good place for you.
People get up very early to climb, so expect another of chatters.
In short, good place for hikers but not for thr ordinary people expecting a proper stay

Front counter located just next to mount kinabalu visitor center. Room to its front counter is quite far but hotel provide transport for transfer from hotel room to its front counter.
