Gokulam Grand Resort & Spa, Kumarakom

Staying at a five star hotel is all about the experience and hospitality, and Gokulam grand kumarkom exceled in both. They were ready to acknowledge any amendments and that too with a smile. Special requests were attended to very swiftly. There is a big emphasis in this hotel for attention to detail and commitment of the hospitality to the guests. I would highly rate this property much better as a five star than established chain hotels like Taj and Leela. The grounds are immaculate and beautiful kept. The one key factor that made it even more personal for many guests I would think is the concern and personal interaction of the Manager Manoj Kumar. Instead of sitting in his office he was always seen walking on the grounds checking on staff and guests. To me that's a very personal service which I think lacks in a lot of hotels. It's a great location for wedding or anyone looking for a destination wedding. A big thankyou to the chefs Vishnu and Joy for preparing special cuisines for us. A very helpful and service with a smile always was from Jeeva. He was the star at the restaurant. A BIG shout out to Vidya, Jomol,Deepak, Gayathry and Bibin at the restaurant. The team was excellent in making it a wonderful dinning experience. Jobin the F and B manager was excellent in his approach and always checking on us at dinner for anything extra we might need. Sanjeev the water sports and reception staff was very courteous. Anju at the reception was very proffessional and helpful. Overall the whole team at the hotel is excellent and I think the managing team is doing a great job to keep staff happy which in turn reflects on their attitude and work. I will be definately returning for sure. Thankyou again to Mr Manoj for managing the hotel and guests to the standard that guests feel like home. No wonder they call it gods own country when you meet people like this in beautiful setup

One of the best stays that we have had ever. And the biggest differentiator - people at the resort. It’s a resort with a lovely setting. All one needs to do is to just be inside and enjoy some of the amenities that are there. One being the shikara ride that the resort provides for free to its residents. Food is good and so is the ambience of the place. One can just sit to watch the sun set and the sun rise. Thats beautiful. But as I said earlier at the start, the best part is the people at the resort. They set a benchmark that is just difficult to meet. I would be doing a disservice to everyone else by taking a few names as EVERYONE was so so courteous. We hope to be back again 😊

#401 It's been a wonderful experience staying at gokulam.the resort is outstanding all aspects including rooms,foods and also in the spa and amazing hospitality. The Evening sunset cruise riding was beautiful and so was the baamboo ride is also good.through our stay was short but it has given us lasting memories.Must ask for Housekeeping staff Shinaj to take some amazing pictures and he is very helpfull of our check out time.Absolutely recommending this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and delightful holiday

Awesome staff and awesome property.excellently maintained property . Great sea view, landscape and food. Every staff right from reception to room boys to cleaning staff to food court staff to everyone....really well trained and wel behaved.

Wow, just wow... I thought knew what kindness is till I met these guys here... Mashaallah, especially Deepak, it feels like a family ... We recently stayed at Gokulam Grand Resort & Spa, Kumarakom, and it was an experience we will never forget. From the stunning views and peaceful ambience to the outstanding service, everything about this hotel was perfect. The staff were incredibly kind and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make our stay special. We were particularly touched by how they organised a surprise birthday dinner for my husband, complete with beautiful decorations and a delicious private meal by the lake. Parvati, who arranged the dinner, and Jomol, who served us, made the evening truly magical with their warmth and attention to detail. Unfortunately, I wasn’t feeling well when we arrived after our previous stop in Thekkady. I’m so grateful for the care provided by Dr Anju, the on-site Ayurvedic doctor, who offered natural remedies that made a real difference in my recovery. The hotel staff went out of their way to prepare special bland meals to help me feel better and even arranged for me to see a doctor when needed. The kindness and compassion shown by the entire team made us feel as though we were being looked after by family. Their care and hospitality during our short stay made all the difference. We left Gokulam Grand with full hearts and wonderful memories. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable – we will definitely return!
