The resort is beautiful, located on lake side, has clean amenities, great service and a good restaurant.
The only thing that could be improved is the size of the swimming pool as probably it's the smallest as compared to the other resorts in the area.
Overall I recommend it if you can get it for a nice price.

5* food 5* hospitality 5* cleanliness 5* staff 5* rooms Overall I give 5* , complimentary breakfast, boating, evening snacks We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, kids weren't bored, we enjoyed. Food was delicious and quality and quantity was good

All the staffs are very polite. A nice ambiance. Again will come here to the beautiful beaches with greenhouse with nice environment.

It was an amazing stay, from the welcoming till the check out , the hospitality they gave was indeed awesome , from the reception staffs to the every staffs at this property and the hygiene was topmost , the ambience was too good .. for every couples and family or even friends looking out for a calm and beautiful place to stay which is nature bound , would definitely suggest this property.. and definitely we are coming back again , for the perfect staycations , thank you soo much backwaterripples

My 1st visit to Kumarakom turned into a beautiful experience, largely because of Back Water Ripples Resort and the backwaters. The resort sprawls across vast area, with a garden, greenery, and a swimming pool adjacent to the backwater. We stayed in a garden-view deluxe room that was exceptionally spacious, clean, and well kept. The package included fishing and a one-hour boat ride with music, all arranged as promised. A heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Mrs. Sindhu mam, whose warmth and politeness accompanied us from the booking inquiry to checkout. Sindhu mam guided us to visit MALARIGAL, a stunningly scenic spot, and made sure we were comfortable and didn’t miss anything. Thank you, ma’am. Front desk people are very prompt in responding to our queries. Kudos as well to Gireesh in the restaurant for his ever-present smile and to Sudheesh. The breakfast was superb, and lunch and dinner offered a wide variety, with the prawn mango curry being a highlight. Portions were ample. Amenities include table tennis, carrom, chess, and table football, plus bicycle ride. We thoroughly enjoyed every activity. In short, this is a destination not to be missed, thanks to outstanding hospitality, friendly staff, and excellent value for money.
