Nice place, recommended to stay for fine holiday! The food is good and back waters boat ride is most calming and please when boat glides over the water and During sunset the view is amazing. Overall had a good time with family and happy moments.

This resort was absolutely amazing. Reception staff was so lovely. Food was nice with lots of variety the pool overseas the lake you can have kayaking boat ride bicycle ride. Dessert was beautiful the ice cream brownie a much with moktaila . The gym facilities has weights and treadmill, also there is a spa on site. They also have teatime between four and 5 to grab some light snacks so scenic and restful would definitely recommend needed for a getaway to rest and recharge. also, staff was very lovely and accommodating. I went during Ramadan and was fasting and they were able to provide me breakfast earlier at 4 am so that I could start my fast which was absolutely amazing.

Beautiful place and amazing service. A haven you wish you had more time to enjoy. And the food was great too ! We had a very nice boating trip on the lake followed by a short tabla and flute concert. Waking up and have a swim in the pool overlooking the lake is a great way to start a beautiful new day.

Simply superb experience covering the resort stay, dining with delicious food, evening cruise, water views, birds singing, staffs hospitality etc.. worth the visit and truely a memorable trip... The speed boat experience was thrilled one..

Amazing property, Warm welcome. Excellent food. We celebrate 25th Anniversary here with family. Ms Sindhu taken take can care of even smallest things. Swimming and boat experience was too good. Even cycling also provided complimentary.

"A Dream Venue in Kumarakom – Perfect for Events & Stay!" Backwater Ripples is hands down the best venue in Kumarakom for an event, especially an outdoor celebration. We hosted my sister’s wedding reception here, and everything was flawless. This was actually the fifth event our family has hosted at this venue, and they continue to exceed our expectations every time. The stunning lakeside setting created the perfect ambiance, and the extremely friendly staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. A special shoutout to the management team for making the entire planning process—food, drinks, and arrangements—a breeze. Our stay here for a couple of days was equally delightful. Highly recommend for a memorable experience!

Backwater Ripples, is most definitely the best property in Kumarakom. It has a special place in my heart because I got married there. And last week, my sister also got married there. We had guests from across the world who attended the wedding celebrations and all of them stayed at Backwater Ripples. They loved it so much that they are planning another trip already. This is the most important thing for us as our guests were given top notch care, excellent food, the staff were super helpful and were always available to assist. They were so good that when some guests arrived earlier than the check-in time, they were all accomodated properly. The food at BWR is one of the best in Kumarakom. For both events, BWR did the catering and knocked the ball our of the park. It was delicious and of high quality. I also want to point out the excellent help given by Govind the F&B Manager, who was excellent in coorinating all aspects of the two day event we had at BWR. We had nothing to worry about while Govind was in charge and he took care of everything while we could focus on the other aspects of the wedding planning. So thank you Govind! We wish Backwater Ripples team the very best in the future and hope to conduct more events with you.

Indulged in the warm sun and tropical breezes at this lovely resort. Partook in afternoon tea, watched sunsets over the water and took a boat ride on the lake. Pampered at the Ayurveda spa and nourished with tasty food. Thank you Sindhu for make these three days blissful!
